Breakfast was very good. Swimming pool was nice. Hotel was quiet. Parking was convenient. Kids loved feeding the fish in the atrium.

Loved the fountains in the courtyard, an oasis. The complimentary breakfast was a great treat.

The suite was perfect for our family. We could put our toddler to sleep in the bedroom area early and we could stay up later watching TV. The garage parking costs extra, but it's well worth it if you're driving from out of town. The metro (blue/orange and red) stops are a few blocks away. The complimentary breakfasts were excellent every morning.

I expected more for the price. Very tired looking hotel with average rooms. They do offer free drinks/ breakfast but that doesn't compensate for poor service and quality of accommodation.

We stayed here over Spring Break with our 2 boys. The hotel is in a great location with the Metro 5-6 blocks away. There are several restaurants within walking distance that we enjoyed. My boys loved swimming in the pool or playing iPad games during the snack/happy hour. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay older Hotel but in great condition. Ideal location in downtown close to Sights. morning breakfast was very good and we ate all three nights at restaurant on property

We were very pleased with this hotel in a lovely neighborhood. The accommodations were comfortable, the breakfast delicious and the lobby area was lovely. The staff were helpful and pleasant. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. One of the mangers told us they are completely redoing all of the rooms this coming year.

Overall, the hotel was nice but could use a little bit of a face lift. However, the staff was fabulous and were eager to help with directions or restaurant suggestions. The breakfast was wonderful as was the nightly manager reception. I would definitely book again.

Although the price is a little up but in DC area and that close to every where I love it. Just wish sofa bed is a little bit more comfortable with new sheet every day and better mattress for sofa. I have to say Kudo for for their breakfast with the made to order omelet, I can even order egg white only omelet or over easy egg. Wish there were some bagels […] too. But I love it I can have full breakfast and go sight seeing without eating till dinner. By the way, Kudo to their cocktail too, drink are well prepared and mixed. Definitely, will come back again. The food stations were not arranged well,the space could not handle the crowd. It was a madhouse in the line. It was almost "breakfast rage" .

The hotel was crowded and the buffet could have been better managed but I left my jewelry and the cleaning lady found it so they are number one with me!

Overall, the Embassy Suites was a good deal. The location was reasonably close to the metro, but a bit farther than ideal with small kids at roughly 1/2 mile. Our family really enjoyed their week long stay at Embassy Suites! The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was plentiful and very delicious. It was very nice to enjoy the hot tub after a long day of walking while seeing the sites. This hotel is on the Historic N Street. It was about 6 blocks from the Foggy Bottom Metro and off of the DuPont Circle […] Metro. The inside of the hotel was beautiful and the beds in our suite were incredibly comfortable! Nice, big suites with an indoor pool for the kids and buffet breakfast is a definite plus. A far walk from the sights though so we cabbed it everywhere which can get pricey. We spent about $25-30 a day on cabs.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay when visiting DC with kids. Having breakfast (very good, too) waiting in the morning is invaluable. Pool was a plus: after long days of sightseeing and being dragged around kids loved to swim and goof around. Rooms are comfortable and staff was helpful. I really enjoyed the hotel with my young children. Breakfast and manager reception in the evening was included. Also, for the children they had a goldfish pond to feed the fish and a nice heated pool to swim. The open space and skylights in the center of the hotel gave you an outdoor feeling. An older well priced hotel with large suite like rooms & a pool open until 12 pm. Koi fish and a buffet breakfast in the main garden like center of the hotel. A gym that could be cleaned a bit more but, overall the hotel is super convenient for families that need extra space and activities. We would return w/o reservation!:)

Spacious, clean and safe. Sofabed uncomfortable but queens beds very satisfactory. No plates or utensils in room for those wanting to use the microwave for a meal so we borrowed from the breakfast area. Tasty b'fast offerings including made-to-order omelets. Helpful staff. Location between Dupont Circle Metro (red line) and Foggy Bottom Metro (blue/orange […] lines) was ideal. We were very pleased with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel was not as convenient as some to the subway and transit options, the taxi rides to the Mall and Monuments were very reasonably priced. The morning buffet is definitely a plus. Location of hotel and general hotel experience were fine. We were unpleasantly surprised to discover a $40 per night parking charge after carefully looking through all the info on the Hotels.com site about the hotel and parking and seeing no mention of such a surcharge.

LOVE this hotel. I have stayed in several upscale hotels in the DC area and found this one to be by far the most comfortable. I will stay here next time. I have found a home away from home.

I love Embassy Suites this is the second time we have stayed at the hotel chain, first time was in FL. This DC location in DuPont Circle is great, we found parking on the street right in front of the hotel do we didn't need to pay to park in the garage. The breakfast bar was outstanding. My compliments to the omelet-makers. The room was clean, but had seen much use as indicated by nicked corners on the furniture, frayed curtains, etc. The location, however , was great and again, it was very clean.

With the exception of one front desk clerk (who might have just had a bad day) the staff was welcoming, friendly, extremely helpful, and efficient. The made to order omelets at breakfast and the french toast are restaurant quality. Cocktail hour is great with a variety of drinks. Across the street is a walgreens and STARBUCKS! We were attending the Presidential Inauguration with our kids and i'm so glad we stayed at your hotel. The location was great the staff was wonderful and very helpful. We had three kids with us so the free breakfast in the mornings was very helpful to us. The first room I was assigned smelled of smoke, and when I spoke to the front desk, the first response was that maintenance could come up and take of the smell. This never works. The refrigerator in the room I eventually moved into did not work and the tile holding the shower curtain rod was cracked on both ends.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at the Embassy Suites in DC. The breakfast buffet was awesome as well as the Managers reception at night. The atrium was a great place to chill for a while..............

Good size rooms, very quiet. Carpets are bit old and need replacements. Longs lines for breakfast and hence it takes lot of time to get a breakfast. Convenient location and metro station is just a 5 min walk.

This is a typical Embassy Suites, which means you get a lot of amenities (the suite, full breakfast, and evening reception). This hotel is very well run.
