The Henry Hotel, Autograph Collection in Dearborn

I thought that this hotel was great. It was very elegant, yet comfortable. My husband and I had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary.

Everything about this hotel was exquisite! Clean, Beautiful and some of the friendliest hotel staff I have encountered. I went for a conference and wished I would have had more time just to enjoy the hotel! Well worth the rate!

I took my son on a business/pleasure trip and the Henry was great. Updated, very nice, beds super comfortable, HVAC very quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will most definitely will stay there again.

I had breakfast at 7am on Sunday morning in the hotel restaurant. I ordered off the menu instead of having the buffet. My food was cold and bacon was hard and the potates had been sitting so long they had turned very dark. I think the food was taken from the buffet instead of made fresh. I was very disappointed. Had breadfast at the Henry last year […] this time and it was wonderful. So disappointed in the food. Also, When making the reservation a week earlier. I had asked that a certain room number be held for me. Nothing was done about that and the room was not available when I check in. Disappointed again. Lees meer

What a treat to discover the Park Gallery's superb art experience adorning every hallway and ballroom of this lovely hotel. Our room and the ammenities were perfect for a weekend in the Motor City at the Auto Show. The night at the museum was a bonus we didn't expect but immensely enjoyed!

The room was great, the Sunday buffet was excellent and the pool was inviting. Had a great time.

The room we had was nice, but not has nice as the pictures shown on the internet. It was much smaller. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is pretty inside, but it lacks the wow factor "especially the lobby" that I expected. The pool is nothing to write home about. I thought it would be heated, but it was rather cold. We stayed at the recently-renovated Henry Hotel this past weekend. It used to be the area's Ritz Carlton, so there were high expectations going in. The hotel itself was great. The room was spacious, the bed and linens luxurious. The staff, OTOH, left a lot to be desired. For a start, the valet treated us HORRIBLY as we drove up -- apparently trying […] to perpetrate a scam (to get us to use valet service). We are a family of four, and we had a lot of luggage, including two pack-n-plays, which we use as cribs for our 3-y.o. twins. So this guy with a name-tag that says Hassan, and a cheesy hotel faux tux and top hat outfit comes running up to ask if we need valet and a bellhop. I replied "no," and explain I just wanted to run in to register, then unload the car to take our stuff up to the room. He tells me that unless I used the valet for a double-digit price, I could not leave the vehicle in the area in front of the hotel. As anyone who stays in a hotel will tell you, it is standard to leave your car in the large front area for check in and unloading. Be that as it may, Hassan said that I'd have to park waaaay over in the non-valet parking area and haul my stuff back. Or utilize his services. Um...no. It was a pretty busy weekend and the lot was quite full, so we had to park a good distance away. I ended up making two trips to get everything into the hotel -- oh, and it was during the recent heat wave, so the humidity was near 100%, and the temp was bouncing around 100 degrees. I was so angry about this that I humped all our gear anyway, just to deprive this dude of the satisfaction (and the fee). Upon check-out, I asked about this policy, and the desk clerk seemed confused, explaining that this was not hotel policy; to her credit she apologized profusely. With words, though --not a comp or anything. I just hope this Hassan guy gets disciplined or fired. The other thing that irked me was that the hotel never got back to me on the iPhone charger Ieft in my room. I real Lees meer

The staff at the Henry is second to none. They made our stay there most enjoyable and comfortable. cleanliness was impecable! The restaurant was fantastic!

We stayed two nights in two rooms, and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. From the friendly, helpful doormen/valets, to the attentive, personable server in Trio restaurant, to the prompt, thorough housekeepers--we were treated like with warmth and graciousness. This was especially helpful as my husband had to temporarily use a […] walker due to a biking accident, and the door men were great about shuttling us to/from Greenfield Village and offering to take us to nearby restaurants. Comfortable rooms, nice pool, and a great Sunday buffet (the reasonable price includes a make-to-order omelet or a waffle with berries) . We have stayed here when it was the Ritz Carlton, and have never been disappointed. We will definitely visit again! Lees meer

Teh room was spacious and clean with very nice accroutments and Bath. Service was excellent. The curated art on display was a welcomed surprise and diferentiator.

I was alone and felt very welcomed by the friendly staff. Especially the door man "Marty" with the top hat. The breakfast was great in the restaurant and also when I ordered room service another day. One evening my guest and I had a chocolate souffle that was wonderful. The linens were beautiful and soft. I booked originally with Hotels.com the rate […] that could be cancelled. I checked other online hotel booking sites 2 days before my resevation date and found a rate cheaper on Expedia and called Hotels.com back and got a price match that saved me $26.00 per night. I've found Nirvana in the suburbs of Detroit. As a native Michigander, I've been in and out of the state on a regular basis and usually stay with family members of friends. This time I preferred a hotel (love the friends/family, but some private time to hog the TV remote is never a bad thing). The hotel is spotless, tastefully decorated (not the chintzy […] "tasteful" of many chain hotels - someone with style left their mark here) and they have 24 hour room service that does NOT break the bank! More importantly, the food is superb - even an eggwhite omelet was better than I've had here in NY at Michelin starred restaurant brunches. Not to mention the french press coffee, the OJ (NOT from concentrate), the toast was warm and crisp... yes, the food was great. The room was spotless of course. It also had a complementary coffee maker, as well as wine glasses, Luxurious bath products and the bathtub was deep enough to take a proper bath (and so spotless that I did)!!! Hallelujah!!! Bottom line: if you need to stay someone in the vicinity of Detroit, or even Ann Arbor, try The Henry. You won't be disappointed. Lees meer

got in late, but the staff there was very nice and welcoming. Beautiful hotel. Very well appointed. Our room was very nice. Loved the bathroom and the RUSK amenities. We had breakfast the next day and the breakfast was well priced for that hotel and simply delicious. We plan to make a repeat visit. I would recommend this hotel. This Hotel and all the staff was what I expected, I arrived at the hotel early (when I say early, I mean early 8am) the staff not only aloud me to check in but insured my check in went well. thanks. This Hotel is the reason I like to get away and be pampered, I will make this my hotel of choice when I'm in that area.

This hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and had exceptional employees. We occasionally take the kids to hotels in the area to go swimming. This will be our regular hotel. I wish we would have known how nice this hotel is years ago.

The service, food and accommodations were excellent. You would have to rate this hotel Superior when one takes the value into consideratoin.

The Henry (formerly the Ritz-Carlton) was a wedding night hotel for my new wife and I. Everything was lovely. From the roses, to the strawberries with chocolate tuxedoes, to the marble floors in the bathroom, to the lovely breakfast buffet. The Henry was first class!
