Place is perfect for people who want one or two nights in a good place to sleep for a fair price. The room was clean and comfortable.

Convenient location but subpar room. We did not want to think about how old the sheets and comforter were, or why and how the towel bar was removed and the hole in the bathroom door was caused and so poorly repaired.

Overall we liked the hotel. It was less than 20mins drive to Magic Mountain and walking distant to local bars and resturants. The 2 bars close by, the Country Girl and Howie's, we're pretty fun and the locals are pretty nice. The bed was pretty hard but the room it's self was nice with a huge couch and nice wood furnishing. Would stay here again.

Overall, I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was decorated in a very tasteful fashion and the furniture is arranged so that the room is very functional. The bed was comfortable and roomy. The weather was very hot during the time of my stay and the air conditioner worked perfectly (thank goodness). […] They also have a breakfast that was better than I expected; there was waffles, cereal, breads, and really good coffee. It was a refreshing change from the usual day old danishes that are usually served at similiar priced hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel; the price was reasonable and it is very clean and comfortable. Also, another nice point was the parking as there is plenty of (free) parking all around the hotel which makes it convenient. I would definitely stay there again. Lees meer

Quick overnight stay over while passing thru to next destination. Wouldn't recommend this hotel for more than 1 night. Bed was not very comfortable and breakfast wasn't that good either, but other hotels in the area were too expensive. Hotel is just off the interstate.

It was a regular Budget hotel. The bed was clean and comfortable. The furnishings were typical of this type of hotel. i had a good night sleep on my stayover on my trip. I will stay there again.

We have stayed at this Rodeway Inn many times in the past and our experiences have been good. This time, however, there were a few issues. The bathtub faucet handle had a substantial leak and the faucet flowed more water than the actual faucet. We complained and they "fixed" it while we were gone the next day. However, that night the same faucet dripped […] all night. But the main problem was that our room was not cleaned for our second night stay. We had the do not disturb sign on the door until appx. 11:30, when we left for the day. When we returned that evening, the room had not been cleaned. On our departure the next day, we complained to the front desk, we were informed that they only cleaned the rooms until noon. We advised that our room was available for cleaning after 11:30, and the clerk argued with us that it was not. He was rude and very uncooperative. I'm not sure we will stay here again. Lees meer

Heater did not work. Was FREEZING the entire night. smelled of weed outside our door...

Front desk was efficient. Room surprisingly quiet and good size. Carpets soiled, bedding old. Breakfast area untended, sloppy, not all machines working. Nearby restaurants fast-food or below average cafes.

The bath tub was cracked, spiderwebs on the lamps, mold in the fridge. Don't ever stay here if you can avoid it.

This hotel served it's purpose. We just needed a place to sleep after Magic Mountain.

Bathroom smelled of urine and exhaust fan packed with lint/dust. Tub had an annoying drip. Bedding was worn with the bedspread having rips along the quilting stitching. Stayed just 1night.

The room was ok, in desperate needing of new bedding. The mattresses under the bed sheet were dirty and torn. The sheets were stained, and although the man at the front desk gladly exchanged them the ones provided were not much better. Consideringbwhatbthey charge a night , they could invest in new linens and beds.

We arrived at the hotel and requested a first floor room. The hotel clerk was able to get us a spot immediately even though all the rooms had not been cleaned (we arrived at 2:10P) I was impressed by his "can do" attitude and service consciousness.

Stayed here to go to Magic Mountain, room was clean and quiet, good freeway access, good rate, and I appreciate that they allow you to cancel if necessary. Will stay here again the next time I go to play!

This is a stay if you need to stop place. It is not a destination spot as Castaic is no treat. Essentially it's a truck stop. The room was adequate, everything worked, but it was about 95 degrees INSIDE the room when I arrived and took a couple of hours to cool down. It was clean. The silver lining is that there are some sweet restaurants nearby.

My husband and I are very satisfied with the stay. It also gave us a bonus. We got to visit the nearby lake, Castcaic Lake, the next morning. The lower lake was within walking distance. The upper lake was real pretty. By staying in this hotel, it gave us a head start for the drive back to the Bay Area. We would choose to revisit this hotel next time […] we have a L.A. trip. I didnt mind it as we were only sleeping..But at 230am a bunch of people decided to walk passed our room yelling,laughing and being loud and woke us up..THEN the person above us was walking around their room at 3am quite loudly as well...Back and forth for about 20 minutes. The room of course looks better in the pics. The mattress sets did not match, nor did it stay on the box spring. You certainly do not get the feeling of cleaniness from the room. We chose the Inn as a way station from one point to another. The room was fine, but since there didn't seem to be many guests, the room was incredibly hot and stifling, and a whole night's worth of airconditioning did not get it down very far.. This a truckers delight. All though the room was clean, it had a weird smell to it and the tub was so old the porcelain had wore off and it was as if you were stepping in something so soft it may break thru and fall. Not a good hotel for kids

This hotel was inexpensive, within 5 minutes of Magic Mountain and had a lot of food options nearby. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The room was pretty big, nice that it had a couch and coffee table. The negatives: it's a truck stop type area so not the best neighborhood. The remote was broken, the shower head was missing, the box […] spring was dirty (the bedding was clean and smelled good), there were poorly patched holes on one wall. This hotel is not well maintained. It is in an iffy area with lots of truckers. We chose this hotel because it was supposedly close to magic mountain. Not! It was definitely not worth the price paid. I have stayed at Rodeway Inns before and this one did not match up. Disappointed.

A decent staff and service. The included breakfast was OK. The truck stop diner across the street is rowdy but very good value. The condition of the room is marginal - very stained/dirty box springs on the bed, bathroom had mold in the corners, furniture is beat up. Very good price for the area, but I would upgrade for a little more cost.
