Hampton Inn Asheville Tunnel Road in Asheville

Front desk personnel (Kayla) was very helpful and even called to see if we needed anything. What a WOW moment!

sheets don't fit bed, but everything else was top notch.

The "view" from my room was the pool. Thus my drapes were closed the entire time. Across the hall from my room was "housekeeping". The noise from the pool area and opening and closing of doors at all hours from the maintenance crew in and out of the housekeeping area as well as the music and the chit chat of the hotel staff made my stay noisy. It is […] a mystery to me why it would be designed this way. The staff was very courteous and friendly. It might be nice to have a microwave, but I covered the LED lights that glowed directly facing the head of the bed. This hotel was lovely in every way. The staff was friendly and helpful; the room very clean and comfortable. Wish I had checked to see what kind of mattress they had because it was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was great and there was also a complimentary dinner offered on the night of our stay. Definitely a great place to stay!

Enjoyed our stay - convenient from and to the highway and for our visit to the Biltmore estate. when we arrived the young lady at the desk had taken the time prior to our arrival to make sure that the rooms for my husband and I and for my mom were in a convenient and close location - just an elevator ride apart - I didn't get a chance to say thank […] you - we though that was so considerate. Newly remodeled-just like new. One of the best facilities you could ask for. Great staff -friendly--cooperative- would love to stay in a motel like this every time we need one.

What made this stay so poor was the bad manners of the hotel manager. Without going into it she made rude insults to my wife and brother. I wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent service & a very friendly staff. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. As I had read in another review, the elevator was a little hard to catch & you usually had to wait on it a few minutes during the "breakfast rush". This wouldn't have been problem usually, but the stairs were also closed because they had just been painted. The breakfast […] was very nice, too. There was a wide variety of items. The only thing I didn't like about it was that there were not just plain scrambled eggs. The eggs had ham & onions in them, which I don't care for. Host at desk were a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable of the area. Excellent location.

The lobby was nicely done with areas for just sitting, a fireplace and seating with small tables. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are renovating the rooms. I stayed on a floor in one of the new rooms and it was clean and quite luxurious. For the bargain price, I felt that they exceeded all my expectations.

I was very satisfied with mu overall stay. They were doing some renovations but let me know this upon checking in. They also told me the hours the crew would be working and clocking out. The front desk clerk was very nice and even helped point out some nice places I might enjoy, to celebrate my birthday. I was accomodated in all my requests--they weren't many, but I wanted a top floor room on a quieter side of the hotel if there was one. This was done and on fairly short notice. Great stay! Beds were super comfortable! Rooms were very clean! Front desk staff recommended a great place to eat downtown! So helpful.

Hotel was under construction so that wasn't ideal but that's a temporary problem . The hotel itself was very nice - the usual Hampton quality. The personnel were wonderful - especially Billie and Walter at the front desk. Everyone went above and beyond to be helpful and by the time we left, we felt like we were practically family. Convenient location to downtown area. Excellent breakfast. Most notable problem--no in-room internet connection. Any computer work must be done in lobby.

This hotel is really nice. The updates they have made to this facility make it top notch and a great place to stay. Staff was super nice and accommodating. The breakfast was very nice and a great area to sit and enjoy. Great place to stay! Would recommend this hotel 100%!

The hotel was undergoing some face lifts. As a result, there were a few inconveniences. The warm and super friendly southern staff made up for it. It was clean and quiet. The elevators were slow at peek times, so I used the stairs. To me this hotel was as good as a 4 star mainly because it was so quiet. This hotel had comfortable rooms and was in a location that was very convenient to the highway. It was not in the downtown area, so you had to drive to visit the restaurants and attractions. For our family, that was not a big deal. The staff was really kind to us. My son's dinner did not agree with him and he got sick in our room. When I asked the desk […] for some supplies to clean up, they sent someone up with supplies at 1:30 am, and he finished up the cleaning for us. They went beyond what I'd consider usual hospitality. Clean and comfortable hotel. Generally, well-satisfied. Breakfast area limited, especially when sharing it with tour bus group.

This hotel had nice, clean rooms. It is near downtown. They were undergoing renovations when I stayed there, so it should be newly renovated when you stay.

Location, cleanliness, etc. were excellent along with reception from staff. Continental breakfast was not what I expected for Hampton Inn. The room was a little pricey for the age of the motel and time of year.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The hotel is nice and is usually a good price compared to others in the area.
