Het Fiesta Americana Condesa hotel is een mooi, schoon, up-to-date hotel. Al met al een tevreden verblijf. De kwaliteit van het eten was goed, echter weinig verrassend. De a-la-carte restaurants in het hotel zijn leuk gedaan, alleen het systeem van wachttijden is niet handig. We hebben moeten wachten om te kunnen eten in deze restaurants tussen de 30 […] minuten en anderhalf uur (wat na een gesprek met de manager overigens prima is opgelost -> wachttijd < 10 minuten). Het buffet restaurant is niet een heel groot restaurant maar voldoende keuze (verwacht hier geen 100 bakken met eten). De kamers waren prima in orde, jammer dat een koelkastje ontbrak. De al-inclusive is goed. Er wordt zelfs "merk" drank geschonken, wat niet in veel all-inclusive hotels gebeurd. de mogelijkheid om een auto te huren werd prima afgehandeld door het hotel personeel. Netjes gedaan. Vraag bij het inchecken wel of ze de kamer op een redelijk tijdstip schoonmaken. Bij ons gebeurde dat nog wel eens tussen 17:00 en 18:00 en dat is niet heel handig als je net van het zwembad komt. Al met al een prima verblijf. Zeker een aanrader. Lees meer

We only stayed here one out of 8 nights here, our first day. Everything about it is wonderful, food, entertainment, location, service and clean. All inclusive is definately the way to go. This was a really great hotel. The staff were above superb, and a special big shout out goes to Jose, Angel, Margarita, Francisco, Isiore, Poula, and many, many others but those particular staff always went above and beyond to make your stay the best it could be. The pool water is pretty cold though! I could only stand to be in it for a minute or two to cool off. The restaurants were all good, especially the one next to the pool, in front of the ocean, and the Italian restaurant. I'm a vegetarian and I had plenty of options all of the time. The bars had top shelf liquors (Captain Morgan, Tangeruay, Jack Daniels etc) but they only had two beers, Dos Equis and Sole, and they ran out of Sole often. I stayed in the Moon Tower on the 3rd floor and we didn't have much of a view at all. The rooms were nice but the beds were very uncomfortable. By the end of my week my back was killing me every morning. The wi-fi is pretty poor. My only other 'complaint' is that we were there for the Superbowl and they blacked it out of all rooms and then made us pay to watch it, then played music over the commercials! But overall I have to say it was a great experience and I give a huge kudos to the staff there who really do a great job in making it such a great experience. Lees meer

Although tips are supposed to be included in the rate, everyone still expects a tip. Staff not very friendly nor courtous. Was not acknowledged at checkout counter for more than 5 mins. Girl was busy with the computer, but could have looked up and say "ohla, be with you soon.

This was my first visit to an all-inclusive: Yes, the drinks were definitely watered down. Surprisingly the food was good (coming from a foodie). They have a daily BBQ at the pool and it's amazing! Restaurants are decent. There were hits and misses (true of anywhere right?) The pool/beach scene is perfect (see below). Service was always prompt, attentive […] and friendly (we always tipped). Spa was beautiful and nice. Good (not great) spa services for the prices. Rooms were nice and clean but the beds were hard. One key problem: The bar. They only have one hotel bar Tapas (pool bar is closed at night) and the acoustics are horrible (really loud). We are young (20-30s) and still had trouble hearing during conversations at times. There is no outside patio bar aside from a couple tables for smokers. And who wants to sit inside when you're in paradise? No one... If you're at an all-inclusive, you probably don't want to leave regularly for a couple drinks. A good hotel bar is KEY. In Cancun, all of the nice bars/clubs require a $45-60 entry fee. We tried to hit up a "no-cover" bar in Cancun proper just to grab a couple drinks (really scary!) Next time, I'll find an all-inclusive with a great bar so we don't have to leave just to have a couple good drinks and some conversation. The hotel is open to the elements, blurring indoor and outdoor space, always making you feel connected to the beautiful weather. The pools and beach towards the ocean side of the resort is beautiful and creates an ideal environment. The staff is really what made me write the review. On arrival was greeted by an employee offering a drink. This quickly became an opportunity to offer "coupons" for use in the Hotel. Not too pushy and didn't take long to decline. My wife and I love this hotel. We keep coming back again and again. The yoga instructor, Tomás, is a wonderful instructor and very spiritual. Plus the experience of doing yoga by the ocean is outstanding. Also, Sundays at noon the prepare paella, and it is the best.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the constant upkeep we saw occurring (painting, washing windows, mowing, bleaching the lounge chair pads around the pool, etc.) The only negative is the hard beds. They really need to update the mattresses for a more comfortable night's sleep.

Overall a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Cancun and the Riviera Maya. The staff was very professional and yet very friendly. This was our third stay at the Fiesta Americana Condesa in Cancun. We absolutely love it! The accomodations are wonderful. The staff is attentive and very friendly. Decent hotel but preferred the RIU Las Americas in my previous trip. Pros: Pedro, the drink Maker. Very Friendly and makes great drink. He helped in making this trip very enjoyable. The food is very good also and has some authentic Mexican taste that you don't get in some Cancun resorts. The food is good and this is the first place we have stayed at in Mexico that no one in our group had any stomach problems. The staff is excellent and always willing to help. We did run into a few that did not speak English. We stayed in a suite with a master bedroom and a jacuzzi on the patio. This room does not have a sofabed but they brought in rollaway […] beds for the kids. The description says 2 full baths but it actually is 1 1/2 baths. The kitchen area is nothing more than a counter with a mini fridge and a coffee maker. The view was well worth the additional cost. Now for the reasons we will not go back to this resort. The workmanship on the buildings is subpar. We had plumbing issues including constant temperature changes in the shower and rust colored water for the first minute or so. The entertainment at night is just bad for the most part. The beach is great but the pools are not heated and are ice cold. We spoke to management about this and they said they were hoping to heat them some time next year. If you have the money (around $40/person) then you should eat at the Crab House. Lees meer

Hotel was nice for the price. Most of the employees were nice and very friendly.We tipped most of the employees and they did seem to expect it. Didn't have much for my 2 kids to do at the hotel( ages 11 and 15). Breakfast and lunch were great. Dinners were so-so. Pools were nice and there were plenty of chairs both at the beach and by the pool.Lifeguards […] on the beach were great! Entertainment ( shows) were poor -don't bother going. Tours - took the dolphin swim/ garrafon snorkeling tour. We did the Royal dolphin swim and it was well worth the money. The garrafon part was another story. Only had 3 kayaks available and long lines. Food was very mediocre, snorkeling was awful -water was very choppy - we saw maybe 20 fish and lots of trash. Plus there was only one return Ferry so we couldn't leave early.We also took the Coba ecotour with Rappeling, zip-lines,kayaking, swimming in the underground Cenotes and visited a Mayan village. Our guide Aiste, was wonderful and she was very knowledgeable. Our guide at the Coba ruins though, was Mexican and very difficult to understand so we left with little knowledge of the ruins. We relocated to this hotel after a dreadful experience at Gr Caribe Deluxe by Solaris. I got food poisoning at GR Caribe the second day we were there. Fiesta Americana had excellent service and nice rooms. I can't review the food as I wasn't able to begin eating again until we returned home from Cancun. My husband said it was decent. Family spent Christmas here. Wonderful experience. The staff is excellent. The food is quite good and the rooms are nice. It appears to be an older hotel as the rooms could use some fresh paint, and the spa is a little over-priced but those were minor issues. Everything is clean and well maintained. We went here on our honeymoon. It was an excellent hotel and above all the staff was incredibly nice an willing to do anything it took to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel is older but kept clean and nice looking, our room was very clean and spacious, the only down fall was the bed was really hard. After long days on the beach though we slept just […] fine. The food was ok, we didn't really love it because neither of us like seafood and there was a lot of it. The mall and other shopping areas are about 7-10 minutes north of here by city bus. It cost 8.5 pesos to ride the bus. It is very safe even though it might seem sketchy. Just pay your money and hold on. If you give American dollars they won't give you change but you can exchange for pesos in the hotel. Overall this hotel was great, the only reason tht would keep me from going back is the food selection. It would be worth going back though for the service and kindness of the staff. O and the beach is awesome, pretty good sized waves that made it fun the play in the ocean, the beach is huge and it was never crowded, parasailing and wave runners all available right next door.
