Reisden met een ander koppel en hadden een rustige kamer gevraagd dicht bij elkaar. Hotel stuff was unfriendly, rooms were old and not really clean. The most which bothered me was when I check out, the try to charge a safe deposit user fee to any client even if you did not use it ( they are trying to get money where ever the can from the client). The service is terrible; the worse that I had ever seen! Maintenance is bad, elevator broken, there is no parking or valet parking as other others hotels nearby.

The entrance to the hotel made it look like we were about to stay in a 4 star establishment, but then we started talking to the attendant. We booked 5 people in a room and I even called to make sure that was okay. They said we could get a role away to accommodate everyone. When we arrived, they said it would be $15 a night for said role away, which […] was never mentioned on the phone nor have I come across that previously. The associate was also not very pleasant about explaining this to us and why it was never mentioned. We went up to the room that faced the beach and the view was beautiful. The pool and beach looked amazing, but there was no beach air to be enjoyed. The windows were sealed shut and the walk in closet smelled like someone was smoking weed in it the night before. The cover was falling off the front of the air conditioner, but at least it worked. The location was fantastic though. The beach was pleasantly open and the price was right. I paid $220 for a night, I mean... It's not a 4/5 star but this place needs new employees. They're rude and ignorant. The place is OK when you walk in, but the room is too outdated. . Get some different sheets and curtains, and the bathroom had black stains all over the floor? Is that even okay? Anyway, you get what you pay for, and it was an expensive […] time of year because of spring break so I paid what I paid because I had to. But bottom line, I don't recommend it. Staff was not friendly, short tempered, bad communicators. Facility was dated, ceiling in the bathroom was 6'3", toilet was backed up with previous guests toothbrush and check in isn't until 4pm??? What a joke - for $200 a night go elsewhere.

Hotel could use fixing up some shabby areas. Elevator is very slow, only one was in use. Good location to attend a conference at the Fountainebleu and save money.

Slow check in process, no parking- had to get up early to pay meter on street. Bathroom not clean. Older hotel that needs updated. 10 floors but only one working elevator. In a nutshell, will not stay there again.

We booked the room far more ahead before the stay. It turned to be the room was not available when we arrived, so, we ended up being put into another room with a window facing the roof and nailed up. The conditioner was loud and cold even at the lowest setting. We travelled in a group of five: nobody offered an additional bed. There is only one elevator, […] so you have to wait endlessly. Very expensive for the type of room they had provided. The staff at the reseption desk was unfriendly and unattentive. Coffee was just as brown water - no taste. The good part about this stay: 1. We had an amazing stay on Miami Beach with a very last moment booking at Days Inn Oceanside. The staff were excellent. The lobby, and outside grounds, gardens and location to beach could not of been better! The Boardwalk was directly behind our hotel and we used it to walk to South Beach. I wish I read previous reviews before booking at this hotel. Much like they said, the elevators were slow, one being out of service still! The lobby and pool area were nice but thats where it stopped. The hallways smelled awful. The rooms were dingy and in need of major upgrades. The beds were old and the mattress sucked. The room was huge but felt like something from the 1960 era. I stayed in a lot of places like this when I was growing up in the 60's. The room was clean but the bathroom was a little questionable. Just needs to be updated. The cost for the room didn't match the overall look and feel. Hard to get a taxi.

I was looking for a decent place for a good price. This hotel was just that. I do have one complaint. Fix your elevator! Only one of two elevators worked which was really the only miserable thing about the hotel. Not only did you have all the guests using one elevator, all the staff was using the elevator. So we were sharing it with carts and bins and […] everything that needs to be moved up and down. Really lame. Other than that, it was pretty decent. Not luxurious but you get what you pay for. I was amused by a girl working the bar who was spray painting the table the cash register sat on. Oh, no blended drinks. On the other hand, very easy access to the beach and board walk. Stayed while waiting for condo, average hotel at best. Waited a lot for the 1 evevator, other broken down, sometimes for as long as 10 minutes. Overall not very clean. Beds were average. Location good.

Hotel is old. Room smelled of so much pine and bleach it was hard to breath. The elevator was broken and had been for a month. There was no parking. The water almost burned us because the pressure changes when someone flushes. Trust me on this one. Even thought the price is low compared to other hotels in the area, it's not worth it.

The hotel is okay, the problem is the prices are doubled in the high season, so that makes the rating difficult. On the section of the Ist floor where I was the air conditioning was malfunctioning on chill,and in the room no heating ,only cooling,but they brought me some heaters on 2nd day. I was very pleased with our stay. We had a medical emergency which kept us in Miami for a week. Days Inn was very accommodating with our schedule. The only down fall I would have to say would be the breakfast they told us about. No one informed us we would have to pay and was a shock when we had to do so. Also it would be nice to have a Fridge & Microwave […] in the room! Another big thing is the parking!!! maybe you can set something up with a near by parking garage for your customers. Coming in late night from the hospital to find a spot was impossible we had to park about a mile away every night. Otherwise I have to say I would defiantly stay there again. Lees meer

No parking available more than 20 dollars a day to get parking , the hotel has only one elevatorr in bad condition sometimes 5 minutes or more to get to your room , the room carpet was old and dirty and the beds were outdates and inclined, showers were dis...etc....etc...no wqy I would recomend this "hotel" not even to an enemy

Overall a decent hotel to stay in and the price was just right...however! there was only one elevator working and it took a VERY long time to just go up and down to our room which was located on the 4th floor. Something like that needs to be addressed immediately to improve the quality of the hotel. Also, they need to offer free wifi!

The price paid explains it all really... Simple but clean, rooms cleaned on a daily basis and staff are helpful. I was surprised actually how good it was for the number of stars it's got. Only thing is it's a bit of a distance to the main attractions.. Oceans Drive, Lincoln Rd etc.. You can always get on the bus for $2 a person so not too bad.

Very good for a family to stay,quiet neighborhood and if you stay ocean front even better. This is not a 5 star hotel but it has everything...nice swiming pool and a tiki bar and you just have to walk a 100ft to the beach. Thank you days inn oceanside for these nice 10 days vacation experience.

it was a bad experienc.first of all: we arrived at 11:52 pm. there is no valet parking for they do not have any guess parking at all or could be they have very limited parking spots. I had to park 3 blocks away, and get up early in the morning to pay a $1;00 meter every hour , otherwise i would be ticketedetc. the lobby at the hotel small and nothing […] fancy about it. the elevator ebougft to fit 4 people only. and the rest is history. Parking sucked! No parking at the hotel. Beds are very small and uncomfortable. No breakfast included. All rooms sleep only 4, so we had to pay extra per day for additional roll away bed. Elevators are old and get stuck all the time! You can hear the people next door. The toilet and bathtub were not draining properly and never were fixed. Keys to the […] room were constantly demagnetized and we had to go back and forth on those elevators to get new ones almost every day(we stayed 8 nights).
