prima ligging. Aan de rand van echte centrum in zakendistrict. 5 min lopen van metro station, 1 a 2 haltes tot in stads centrum. Zeer ruim appartement met 2 slaapkamer, 2 badkamers en 1 woonkamer/keuken.

De kamer was netjes, wij sliepen met 4 personen in de familiekamer. 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen (13 en 16 jaar). De kamer was niet groot, maar voor ons geen probleem omdat we vroeg weg waren en laat thuis. De knop van de wc was kapot, we hebben dit gemeld en toen we s'avonds terug kwamen was deze al gemaakt. Ontbijt was prima. Naar het centrum is +/- 10 min met de bus (opstap vlakbij hotel), daarna met de metro +/- 10 min. Echt goed te doen. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam. Kortom een prima hotel voor een weekendje Londen.
Ligging.
Majestic Hotel bevindt zich in Londen, dicht bij Earl's Court tentoonstellingscentrum, Natuurhistorisch museum van Londen en Royal Albert Hall. In de buurt liggen ook Kensington Palace en Kensington-tuinen.

Dit hotel heeft een restaurant. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een safeloket bij de receptie en een lift.

Majestic Hotel heeft 83 kamers met een föhn. Elke televisie heeft kanalen via satelliet.

Het betere, residentiële Kensington staat bekend om haar paleis en haar tuinen, en om de grootste musea in South Kensington: het Natural History Museum, het Science Museum, en het V&A. Earl's Court heeft een grote keus aan budget- en middenklassehotels, die rond het congrescentrum van Earl's Court liggen. Het metrostation zorgt voor goede aansluitingen (de lijnen District en Piccadilly) met treinen naar het centrum van Londen en naar Wimbledon in het zuidwesten.

I stayed for 1night here. Place is at the centre of London very accessible to tubes and central London , hotel's only positive aspect. Rooms are very poorly maintained. There is no coffee bar. Bathrooms need complete refurbishing, tiles broken and leaking, shower knobs very tight and all worn out and broken. Morning continental breakfast was not at […] all upto the mark and is not included in the tarrif. Only reason I stayed in the room was the proximity to the place I want to visit and that the price was already paid to hotels.com!! I will never recommend this place to anyone Lees meer

room dirty, toilet broken,exposed wires,had to buy own water to clean teeth. tap water sign do not drink. gas tape to hold carpets together. 80 deg. another sign do not open window.no fridge, no iron .walls cracked and dirty through out glad only one night . photos available
"A little bit scary..."
The hotel was cramped and run down. The service was just fine, but the room was a tiny bit scary. Lovely neighborhood, though, and the stay was just less than comfortable.

We stayed for one night only here! it was lovely for the night the room was very big but had some dampness alright but as we were only over for the one night only to see a show it didnt bother us. However, it was very warm in the city when we were there and at night we needed a shower but there was no hot water and also I would be almost 6 foot, i could […] not fit under the shower head as it was secured onto the wall! "Horrible-avoid at all costs"
Dirty, dingy and water in rooms marked unsafe to drink. Carpet held together with duct tape. Broken tiles and missing grout in bathrooms. Warnings everywhere about "not responsible for items left in rooms" but you must leave the room key at the front desk any time you leave the rooms. "Magestic Hotel London"
This hotel was like staying in Fautly Towers, the place was filthy, the curtains and carpet could do with a good clean. The carpet in the lift was full of chewing gum. I would not recommend this hotel.

"Honest"
Well the hotel DOES NOT HAVE WIFI. It is closed to the tube and the receptionist girl was very helpful. The rooms are older but the shower was clean. I dont think I would stay here I think it be best to spend the extra cash to get a nicer closer Hotel to the city. But it served it's purpose as a budget hotel..

The room was useable but not clean, window curtain had not been opened so Wndowsill was thick in dust and dirt. Fibres and hairs in the bed, so questioned whether bed had been changed, Bathroom was not clean, and to use would have to be cleaned first. One lift not working Staff were polite and friendly.
Though the service was very pleasant, I found the accomadations rather worn and in need of maintenance. It was in a great convenient location for the Heathrow airport.

"Old, Dirty"
Phenomenal location. Two grocery stores near. Closest grocery store open until midnight. Room was old, run-down, and dirty. The room smelled bad. I did not undress to sleep, nor sleep under covers due to room and furniture condition. Three of us stayed one night. None of us showered due to condition/cleanliness of facilities. "Adequate at best"
The Majestic is a threadbare hotel with no comforts and little to recommend it. Coffee/tea-making facilities were entirely absent, for example, and my room had no bedside table. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant, the room was clean enough, and the tube station was just a short walk away. Whilst the room was cheap, it still wasn't good value […] for money. "Majestic Hotel in London"
The Majestic was probably once a very nice hotel (perhaps in the early part of last century), but is now rundown and outdated. It uses keys, with only one lock on the doors. The carpeting is completely worn through in most of the hotel. The beds are extremely uncomfortable even for European standards. On the plus side, the staff was accomodating, allowing […] me to store my luggage in a locked room while I was site seeing. "The (far from) Majestic Hotel"
Honestly, I really didn't think that this type of hotel still existed. It makes Fawltey Towers look like the Ritz. The carpet in the reception was old and filthy and the paintwork worn and grubby. The room itself was only a single having ordered a double. What's more, it had a rancid odour of stale cigarette smoke so I had to leave the window open all […] night for fear of being fumigated. "Centrally located"
The hotel is in a very convenient location however, the reception staff are not overlerly friendly. Not an issue for us as we were only there to sleep & shower so didn't have to deal with them except for checkin and departure.

"Nothing Majestic about it"
The Majestic Hotel is a very very very worn down hotel. The best part of the Hotel was the stairs leading from the sidewalk to the front door. The elevator was scary (screaming and unstable). The carpet was totally worn down, and dirty (dust and dirt). The door to the room didn't look very trustworthy (the doorknob was fastened with ductape). The room […] showed sign of not been vacuumed for the last couple of years (a good inch of dust was lying along the wall). The radiator didn't work, and the hotel had put in an electric oven, thoug the "cleaning lady" shut the oven off, so the room was cold when returning from the dayly chores. Med en smula humor och insikt att London gör sig bäst utanför hotellet så går det fnt att bo här. Rent och städat var det. Läget var nog det bästa med hotellet. Men åker man till London så är standarden inte så bra som hemma ! / Elin
"Majestic?? Don't think so....."
The price is overrated, although it is quite cheap. All premises are dirty and have not seen paint or other attendance for years. Carpets were taped down in hallways. Elevator was smeling of dirt from carpet and walls. Beds were changed every day, but other cleaning was lacking, for example tabs and shower class were covered with chalk. No hot water […] after midday. Service I can hardly comment on, as the reception was polite and helpful, but there is no other service offered. The rooms are almost to small to change ones mind. The best of this place is the convenient location, short of Earls' Court station. Star rating for Hotels in UK are least to say, out of order. Three star Hotel in UK would not even have a licence to operate in Iceland or Norway,- the filth in this particular hotel would shut it down for health reasons ASAP Lees meer
du bør ikke bestille taxi gjennom hotellet, de tar bobbel pris og du får heller ikke kvittering. vi skulle på teater og selv om de fikk adressen kjørte de feil og vi kom for sent! betjeningen i frokostsalen kunne vært blidere og mer serviceinnstillt

Non seulement en cours de rénovation, mais ceci n'est pas le problème. Cet hotel est dans un état absolument lamentable , les moquettes à la corde de l'usure, un ascenseur en panne, la chambre soit disant aux murs clairs mais pourris, le salle de bains petite et la robinetterie fuyante et l'eau absolument bouilllante si on n'y rend garde donc dangereuse. Le […] petit déjeuner réduit au minimum des choix. De pluys l'hotel voulait me charger de celui-ci alors que rein ne le mentionnait sur la résa. Je pense que cet hotel n'a pas été visité avant de le mettre sur site. En 1 mot cet hotel est vraiment pourri mais que peut-on avoir à Londres pour ce prix ? Je ne sais pas étant donné que c'est mon 1° séjour dans cete ville mais comparé aux grandes villes du monde je n'ai jamais rencontré ce genre de situation. "Nära det mesta i centrala London, men skabbigt"
Only for sleeping. Clean towels ans linen but that´s about it. Near Earl´s Court underground and central lines (for example to Victoria Station). Hotel Majestic ligger väldigt centralt nära flera tunnelbanelinjer (Earl´s Court). Det tar 15 min till Victoria Station vilket är bra om man flyger till Stansted och tar Terravision-bussen in till London […] som stannar där. Sängkläder och handdukar är rena, men det är väl allt. Hotellet är MYCKET slitet och det är fuktskador här och där. Väggar och golv är skabbiga och gardinerna ska vi inte ens prata om. Om du bara ska sova så är detta hotell helt ok, men inte om du vill ha ett mysigt hotellrum. Jag hade inte bott på hotellet ensam - det hade varit för deprimerande när det såg ut som det gjorde. Vi valde att boka utan frukost, men det finns flera fik etc som man kan äta frukost på istället. Lees meer

"Majestic Hotel - ok att sova där men inget mer"
Vi hade bokat ett rum med tre enkelsängar, de stod inknödda mot väggen kant i kant och man fick liksom hoppa i dem från nedre kortsidan. Duschen kunde bara spola kokhett vatten när vi kom dit, alltså inte varmt utan verkligen kokhett, vilket de visserligen rättade till när vi sa till om det. Varje gång vi duschade blev det som en pool på badrumsgolvet, […] det blev inte åtgärdat trots att vi sa till. Trevlig personal, ok städning och inga andra problem i allmänhet, bara att det inte var så fräscht, men man får väl vad man betalar för. Ligger 5min från Gloucester-tunnelbanestationen så det är bra läge, och en livs-affär ligger precis bredvid hotellet. Man kan dock antagligen hitta mycket bättre än såhär, hade definitivt rekommenderat ett bättre hostel istället för det här. Lees meer

Hotellet er ikke tidssvarende. Brusebadet foregår i et badekar med høj kant. Der var stor risiko for at falde i badet, da badekarret var glat og man skulle over den høje kant - ca. ½ m. Værelserne er meget små. Der er ikke plads til et sengebord ved siden af sengen. Hotellet er generelt meget nedslidt og mangler vedligeholdelse. Baren var lukket og […] blev brugt til pulterrum. Der var små fjernsyn på værelserne. Fjernkontrollen virkede ikke. Spisesalen var utrolig kedelig. Receptionspersonalet, som var de eneste, vi så, var meget søde og hjælpsomme. "Majestic: Centralt beliggende, rent men slidt."
Hotellet ligger centralt, tæt på "Inner Circle" metro. det var slidt, men rent. 400 mt. fra Hotellet et godt morgenmads sted, 10 pund for 2 * English Breakfast. Vi kunne ikke lukke for varmen på værelset, men kunne jo så bare åbne vinduet. Badeværelset er småt, men med dejligt varmt bruse-vand. Syns hotellet var helt greit. Ganske gammelt og slitt, men funka til det vi skulle, nemlig sove. Rent og fint. Fine bad og heis. Blei litt skuffa over frokosten, men den er ikke inkludert i prisen så vi spiste heller på andre restauranter de andre dagene. Kan gjerne anbefale Majestic til andre som vil ha ett hotell som er sentralt og billig.

Salve a tutti, il mio soggiorno in questo hotel è stato un inferno nel vero senso della parola, appena arrivata ho capito che si trattava di un tugurio...la receptionist nn aveva voglia di parlare con noi, i corridoi delle stnze erano soffocanti per ill caldo e la puzza, la camera fin troppo piccola per quello che abbiamo pagato, su internet c era scritto […] che avremmo trovato il wfi ma nn c era, abbiamo chiesto un cuscino e la receptionist nn molto gentelmente ci ha detto che nn poteva farci niente.Penso che basti. "Un hôtel ayant vécu"
Arrivé à 21h30 dans cet hôtel et après avoir lu les commentaires sur hotels.com je m'attendais au pire. Heureusement, le pire n'a pas eu lieu mais certaines choses sont quand même à noter. L’hôtel est assez vétuste mais la chambre dans laquelle j'ai passé la nuit était propre. Le parquet en bois grinçait et la porte de la chambre laissait passer tout […] le bruit (les murs étant plus épais laissait moins filtrer le bruit). Heureusement situé dans une des ailes (chambre 103) il y avait quasiment pas de passage devant la chambre. (Et les voisins étaient peu bruyants) Il ne fallait pas être frileux entre le radiateur à l’arrêt (peut-être un peu trop tôt dans la saison pour être allumé ?) et la grande fenêtre en double vitrage mais assez mal jointe, il fallait éviter de laisser un bout de peau en dehors de la couverture. En plus de laisser passer le froid, elle laisse passer une partie du bruit de la rue. (Prévoyez des bouchons si vous êtes comme moi sensible au bruit) Une petite télé était présente mais je ne l'ai pas allumé. Le placard disposait de cintres en bon état, de quoi suspendre mon costume pour le lendemain. La salle de bain en bon état mais il ne faut pas s'attarder sur les finitions. A noter l'absence de gel douche, (Uniquement des blocs de savons pour la douche) un couleur d'eau verdâtre à l'ouverture du robinet (n'hésitez pas à laisser couler !) et une douche un peu fraîche. Reste quand même un hôtel plus qu'accessible, en zone 1 direct depuis la gare Eurostar en 30 minutes ou l'aéroport (même ligne) et le fait d'avoir une salle de bain individuelle. Ne comptez pas sur le petit déjeuné, il n'y en a pas. Heureusement un starbucks à l'intérieur du supermarché adjacent de quelques mètres vous dépannera. Lees meer

udmærket værelse, men meget slidt og dårligt rengjort. Fin beliggenhed i forhold til undergrundsstation og trygt område at færdes i. Hotellet glemte at vække os sidste nat hvor vi skulle med taxa 4.45!!!!!!
"Fint nok at sove i"
Hotellet er helt fint, taget i betrækning af prisen, især da der ligger meget dyre hoteller rundt omkring det... Om sommeren er man desværre nød til at holde vinduerne åbne, for at have en udholdelig temperatur, hvilket vil sige der også kommer en del trafiklarm ind. Det skal dog siges at man sagtens kan sove fra det, efter en tur på en pub... Så generelt […] er det et fint hotel, hvis man ikke har de store forventninger Lees meer

cet hotel est effectivement tres bien situé. son prix est certainement imbatable et quand on voit tant l'exterieur que l'interieur on comprend pourquoi : baignoire rouillée, murs delabrés... on a l'impressions que la moquette du hall de l'hotel n'a pas été changée depuis 30 ans .... l'accueil : quel acceuil ? il y a 20 ans cet hotel devait etre remarquable. "Très bien placé mais confort médiocre"
Excellente situation de l'hôtel, près du métro, 3 lignes à disposition pour aller très vite sur tous les grands points de Londres. Le bémol concerne le confort. La chambre et la salle de bain sont petits, mais les cloisons sont très fines et si des enfants ou ados s'amusent la nuit dans les couloirs, il est impossible de fermer l'oeil...
