Quality Inn Troutville in Troutville

Conveniently located near the highway and a shopping centre. Walkout to car was an added convenience. Breakfast excellent.

We arrived late and they did not have a room with two double beds to accommodate my daughter and I . They offered an alternative and then could not get the room door open. After 30 minutes we finally got into different room.... After midnight. Despite the pro lens the staff handled the situation professionally and the GM comped our stay.

This place was convenient, clean, had a good free breakfast, and was located near gas stations and adjacent to a Cracker Barrel....it was a great place to stay without costing a fortune and I will stay there again.

Not fancy but very clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast (free) as well. I will stay there again when visiting Roanoke.

I would definitely stay here again. The grounds wre immaculate, the room was clean. In the lobby where they served the breakfast, it was well maintained and had lots of seating with tables but also a lounge area with a TV/couch that was convenient for just having coffee. The Quality Inn Troutville, VA was a rewarding experience. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hot breakfast was outstanding. We were very pleased with the staff and facility.

Room was filthy, if I hadn't pre-paid I would NOT have stayed here. Would never return.

This hotel made an uncomfortable situation comfortable. The front desk staff was great, room was clean although dated, and the free breakfast was enough to get your day started. The view of the mountains was also refreshing. We were able to rest while waiting for Irene to pass through our hometown of Portsmouth, VA.

We had mold all over the ceiling in our room. It was disgusting. On a good note, my husband enjoyed the pool (although you can't go in the morning until after 10!!) and the breakfast. The room was gross, though.

Pleasant stay. We decided to leave for a week's vacation a day early and needed to book a room with a few days notice. We were able to get this room for a very reasonable price and it is next door to a Cracker Barrel. When we arrived, we learned that a complimentary hot breakfast would be served at the hotel. My wife and I stayed one night on our way to Washington DC. The room was clean, although the bed linens (comforter mostly) was somewhat dated, which gave it the feeling of not quite as clean. The pillows were not very comfortable, unless you prefer very thick pillows. The bathroom was very clean. We were a bit misled by the pictures on the hotel's […] website. The picture makes it seem as if the hotel has interior corridors, but that is not the case for most (or all) of the rooms. I'm not sure what building is pictured, but that is not where we stayed. The main hotel building is next door to the pictured building. Perhaps that is a business center? The air conditioner was an under-the-window unit. It did the job, but was very loud at night. Breakfast was decent, but nothing spectacular. Overall, I'd say this hotel was good, but not great. Fine for a quick stopover, but I wouldn't want to spend several nights there. Lees meer

Yes and no for recommendation. Passing through & looking for overnight conversation, okay. Longer term, don't think so. Noisy with interstate and local traffic.

I have only good things to say. The hotel and staff were wonderful. The room with the king size bed was just perfect for the two of us. I highly recommend it !!

This is the second Quality Inn I've stayed in over the past couple months and I am highly impressed. I cannot find anything negative to write and will certainly be booking at this one again next year when I travel to Roanoke. It is a lost gem amongst the dirty hotels that surround the Civic Center.

We chose this hotel late in the day after a full day of driving. I researched several hotels on my ipad and was looking for an inexpensive hotel as a stopover before another long drive. After one of the reviews mentioned bed bugs, I decided to look for a slightly more expensive hotel with a better rating and I found this one. It was easy to find and […] the rooms were beautiful!! The front desk had our reservation, (even though we had only made it with hotels.com an hour before) and were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was passible in that it had bacon, eggs, toasts, muffins, fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. It was a great stopover and we would definitely choose to stay here again. Lees meer

Conviently located next to Cracker Barrell. Hardee's, McDonalds close by. Truck Stop close by, but not unbearable. No elevator to 2nd floor, but still ok. Refrigerator not very cold, even after adjusting thermostat on back of frig. Clean room & bath, comfortable beds. Did not eat breakfast due to early departure each morning. Would stay again.

This is a very good 2 star hotel. My room was clean. The hotel staff were efficient and courteous.

THe staff was very friendly and very helpful with directions, etc. The continental breakfast included hot items which was nice and they offered many different breakfast items! The rooms were nice and clean. NO bedbugs!!!!! I would recommend this hotel for a short stay!

It was a great location - updated contemporary decor - didn't look that good from the outside, but was a wonderful room. The free breakfast was very good with more choices than expected. What a terrific place to stay - good BBQ nearby @ 3 Little Pigs. Don't miss that!

Hotel room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and plenty of fluffy pillows. Would recommend this hotel!
