Decent, comfortable to place to stay if you're in town for business. I had a drive up room facing Bore park, it was newly renovated. Small, cozy, just right for the price i paid. i like the lamps. Toilet is a bit small. Wifi is good. Breakfast has better options than most hotels of same level.

The walkout/motel-like rooms are furnished very nicely, but are awfully small. The room was clean. Free breakfast a plus.

Just spent 1 night but everything went well. Special thanks to the GREAT front desk clerk who checked us in. Very good (hot) breakfast. Minutes awat from a good Chinese buffet.

I was very very disappointed in this hotel and my overall opinion is that it was not what was expected. It advertised a pool, which it does not have; it advertised being family oriented, but there is nothing but a tv and wireless internet going for it; no pool, no sauna, no hottub, no fitness room; very disappointing for the price I paid I could have […] stayed other places but went there because my daughter was taking her 2 sons there for the last weekend of school March break. It was close to the mall but so are a lot of other hotels which have pools and things for the kids to do. I had a confirmation for a drive up room with 2 queen beds - what I got on checkup was a room on the second floor with 2 double beds. The second floor room was something else to get to. The girl at the checkup said you just go up the elevator and down a short hall. She neglected to say at the end of that short hall, you had to go down 2 or 3 steps, down another hall, then down another larger set of steps, then down another hall, through 2 sets of very heavy fire doors before you got to my room. I am a 68 year old senior, with vision problems and I have difficulty with steps; that is why I requested a ground floor room. I would never book at this hotel again and will not recommend it to any of my friends or family. Lees meer

we really enjoyed our "mommy/daddy time", the staff was very professional and check in was quick and effecient. We enjoyed our stay and even the continental breakfast in the morning was fresh and still hot. Clean rooms, but the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything especially noisy neighbors. Nothing was done to have them quiet and ruined our sleep. The neighbors were up until 5 am and then had a do not disturb sign on their door from 8 am on. Dissatisfied with this.

it was cheap, no complaints on price, however the drive in rooms are nicer than I thought. room looked amazing!! bed was not very comfortable. 1 double bed for 2 adults...made It for a terrible sleep.

No complaints. Room was nice, bed was very comfortable, and staff was friendly! Despite being Xmas, the girl who worked the front desk both days always had a smile :)

Our room was very nice, nice bed and decor. Bathroom was very small. But clean. We were in a drive up room, and found it to be very loud. Being down town people coming home late at night. They woke us up both nights of our stay.

The hotel room was very small, but clean and towels/glasses was refilled. The hot and cold continential breakfast was very convenient. Rooms are on the smaller side, but in really nice condition. Most comfortable hotel bed I have even had! Great location right downtown.

Close to entertainment and shopping. Convenient exit to Hopewell Rocks. Watch for the "motel" section of this unit. Much different and no indication given at the time of booking. Rooms are tiny and ours' did not heat well. After 2 hours of having the heat on and still much too cold for comfort, the staff moved us into the hotel. Much, much better.

We had terrible service at the front desk from an employee, Pat, very rude. We arrived at 12:30 pm and were told our room would be ready in an hour, came back and Pat told us rudely that check in was not until 3 which we understood but the first employee who was a trainee and friendly should have told us that the first time. When we returned at 3:45 […] we were told again RUDELY by Pat that our room was still not ready and then we asked to speak to the manager and were snapped at by Pat that the manager was busy cleaning rooms, finally she went and got her for us. The manager diffused the situation and got us in a room asap and gave a certificate for a free night . We were with a large group and had maybe 12 rooms at the hotel most of us had the same problem. The situation was handled wrong at the desk by this employee who only escalated the anger of the PAYING customers with her poor attitude. I work in a supervisory/ management position in retail and it just was not good service. These hotel rooms were booked 5 weeks in advance they knew we were coming yet our rooms were not ready and furthermore guests were coming in not with our group and checking in ahead of us. How hard is it to tell the cleaning staff The Finneys are here booked a room w/ 2 beds can you clean that one next? I will say that once we were checked in the rooms were nice, with comfortable beds. I stayed at the Rodd Moncton twice in a month for more than a week each stay. I love the staff. Kim, Elaine, Gayle, and Pat were terrific and they all work really hard.

Room was a little small but very comfortable. The beds were awesome, what great nights sleep. The hot breakfast was fillling. The location of the hotel is great - so close to everything.

The location is perfect. It is in downtown, close to Champlain mall and the boardwalk. The room did not feel clean. It was stuffy and smelled like a hospital room. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned at 3:30 in the afternoon. The maid took out the towels we left on the floor but did not replace them. She took all of the soap and shampoo and didn't […] replace. We had to make the bed ourselves. The bathroom was beyond tiny. Had to sit sideways on the toilet as the wall was too close in front. We were a little upset as we had a pre-paid room. When we arrived the room was not ready. We had booked a "drive up" room but when we returned we were told we were on the 3rd floor. The cleanliness is rated at a 2 because the runner that goes at the bottom of the bed was dirty with some white stuff on it and they kept putting back on the bed. We had to write a note saying please wash. Quality of the staff and their service was rated 4 because no one did anything extra for us. Since our luggage acted as our dressers they took up a lot of space of the little room we had to work with.
