Ramada Convention Center I-Drive in Orlando

Prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding en een zeer behulpzame en enthousiaste "concierge" die mij wees op de zeer goedkope trolley die je elke 20 minuten het hele gebied van International Drive rond brengt. Aanzienlijk goedkoper dan taxi's. Over taxi's gesproken: dat is wat minder aangezien er geen taxi's voor de deur staan en de concierge zijn eigen connecties […] heeft met een limousine-service, die aanzienlijk duurder is. The hotel is nice to the eye on the outside but once in a room, it is dirty, moldy and beat down :( The hotel hallway smelled musky. The room looked ok but the towels had bodily fluids on it. The bed sheets had a stain and the next day the bed sheets hadn't been changed because the stain was the same one from the night before. The shower curtain had […] a hole in it. For the price I paid for this hotel I have to say it's worth while. Rooms seemed clean and tidy yet a little old. Breakfast was plentiful and staff seem friendly. Great location. Overall very good for price but definitely not the Hilton!

Upon arrival we were given a smoking room and were told that because we booked through Hotels.com we were not guaranteed a non-smoking room. We were moved to a non-smoking room the next day. The second room we booked smelled awful also, although we were told it was a non-smoking room. Moved 3 days later. Continental breakfast was below par. Every day […] scrambled eggs, patty sausage, oranges or apples wrapped in plastic. Bagels, danish also in plastic. Very basic - cheap hotel, cheap everything. Get what you pay for. Lees meer

Not top notch but for the price I guess it was OK. Lights didnt work in the rooms and noicey. But OK for me for the price.

I will never stay there again. The first night I changed my room because there was a dirty toilet and a huge bug in the room . Then I had to change my room again ... VERY close to universal and everything on International drive, about 3 mins. However I would rather have to drive 30 mins to get to those places than stay at this hotel again.

It's a good location and a good relaion benefit cost

The room was much smaller than the online photos suggested.

The first time I stayed here the room was excellent and the staff great. I recently stayed , the room was below average. Check out time is 11am and the cleaning lady woke us up at 8am. Very unprofessional, I would think they would get a listing from the front desk for rooms that have already checked out with times. When I mentioned this at check out, […] the actual Manager of the hotel, just said sorry. When I enquired why, I received another. I'm sorry . Nothing else wad said . The staff I did meet needs re-training on The Customer experience. I will not stay here again, would rather pay double the price. Lees meer

No problems at all. For an affordable price, great location. Older but clean. Nice king size beds ..lovely sugar citrus soaps and lotions. Breakfast area a little small ...but so what.. Would stay again. Close to interstate but didn't hear any traffic at all in room contrary to some reviews.

We had a non smoking room--but that would have been better than the MOLDY CRUDDY smell that permeated the whole time. When we contacted them they told us it would be taken care of "tomorrow" That's when we were checking out... (Went through a lot of air freshener and still didn't help)---Had no internet service--front desk told us to call their internet […] provider???????WHAT???? A/C knob broken. Toilet ran all night---Now onto the positive---it was cheap and where I needed to be--checked it at 7 pm and left room at 8am so it was tolerable---breakfast was ok--just what you'd get anywhere else---should have paid a bit more and gone next door. This hotel is located in an ideal area where all restaurants, gift shops and attractions are close by. It was great to ride the I trolley service. The breakfast was good. The room was a bit cozy and had a mouldy smell and there was a lot of moisture from the AC, the room was always damped. However, the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. LUV THEIR BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING. THERE'S A LOT OF CHOICES. STAFF IS VERY NICE IN THE MORNING. tHE ONLY THING AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER IS THAT THERE IS NO EXHAUST FAN IN THE RESTROOM.. BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY.

Great location and breakfast. Dirty room carpets were disgusting and not vacuumed. Rooms smelled moldy. Beds were comfy. All in all if your looking to sleep and shower it's ok but rooms are tiny.

They gave me a nice room with a good internet connection after the first night. While some of the rooms there are less than ideal, others are great. My first night was in a room with an air conditioner that needed help and an internet connection that was feeble at best. The next morning they were happy to move me, but when I opened the door to the room […] they gave me next, the reek of cat urine blasted me in the face (2nd floor in the back in the corner), and I wouldn't even walk in there. Third try was a charm -- the very helpful housekeeping supervisor took care of me -- set me up with an excellent room on the first floor -- great air conditioner, strong internet connection -- even moved my bags and stuff to the new room so that I could be on my way to do my business -- very happy with that! As for breakfast there, I recommend you go very early -- by 8 or 9 o'clock it is so packed in there, that you will be lucky to get anything to eat, or to even have a place to sit. The food was fine -- scrambled eggs and sausage patties, along with waffles and bakery products, etc. -- but go early to avoid the (c)rush. Overall I would recommend this place, but make sure you get one of the good rooms! Lees meer

When we came to the hotel, we reserved a two bed room, but on the first day we got a single bed instead.

Close to all amusements parks, behind international drive avenue, good breakfast, excellent location, good prices, i am very happy for this selection.

Positives; central location, free breakfast, clean bedding, clean bathroom with plenty of towels Negatives; back of hotel and pool right next to I-4 (busy highway w/ lots of noise), awkward elevator entrance to room, noisy hallway, air conditioner shut on and off all night so it would get hot before it got cool again and it was a vicious cycle-one […] we couldn't adjust, when we made it out to the pool the maintenance man said it would be an hour before it was ready. Not a clean facility. Dirty carpets & sofas in the waiting area. Room facilities not as expected.

Poor service. The person in the front desk was never in the front desk and we had to wait for a few minutes everytime we were in the front desk to be helped. Room service was very poor. The room quality was poor and not well maintained. Overall, will not recommend this hotel to anybody nor will i stay there again.

My stay at this Ramada was the worst Ive ever had at any motel. I got there and the girl working the desk was on the phone giggling and laughing. I stood there unnoticed for 10 minutes. She then wanted to tell me it was "business". The room door was cracked n the tub was chipping. No one spoke enough english to help me with anything i needed. This is a no frills motel (rooms exit outdoors). Rooms are small but adequate. Bed was comfortable. TV's are old, mine buzzed off and on, but not enough for me to complain. There is a nice size mini fridge/freezer in the room which was not too noisy. The A/C was pretty noisy when it came on, but again not enough for me to complain about. Breakfast […] was pretty good. Scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, muffins, danish, cereal, yogurt, bagels and breads. There is a small convenience store by the front desk which even has Healthy Choice frozen dinners you can pop into your in-room microwave. Very convenient. There is no hotel provided transportation but it's a short walk to the bus/trolly stop. Buses/trolleys are the nicest and cleanest I have ever used. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a decent place to stay on a budget with free breakfast included. Lees meer

The room was dirty when we checked in, there was dust and dirt on everything like it had not been cleaned in weeks, there was no water pressure in the shower, the carpet felt oily, the tv didn't work, the front desk staff claimed they were new and didn't know anything when asked, the breakfast was hot eggs sausage waffle station but the dinning area […] and buffet area were so small no more than 3 people could be in the buffet area at once and there were only 6, 4 person tables to sit in for the entire hotel of more than 100 rooms. We love the hotel even though they gave us a hard time at check in. Breakfast is great.

The room was clean and the hotel staff took care of my every need. If I had been traveling with my wife she probably wouldn't have been all that impressed with the overall appearance of the room but I found it fine. I was there for a convention and found everything I needed nearby. I was able to get a hot breakfast at 6am which was unexpected.

Upon opening the door the room smelled mildewed. The lamp shades were ascue and one of the lights by the bed would not come on. The furniture finish was worn and needed replacement. The night latch on the door was missing the top pin and needed replacement. Poor maintenance and room prep leads me to wonder are they as haphazard with the cleaning process. […] I stayed in four motels this week, this one was the second most expensive and poorest room of the week. Great location just off International Drive, where there is lots of bus stops so you can get to and from the airport cheaply. Our only downer was that we were originally directed to the wrong Ramada Hotel by the local bus driver and had to drag our suitcases up the road for 15 minutes to get to the correct one. PS You get a free breakfast here!

Hotel was great, a short 10 min drive to everything and safe. Walking distance to some attractions on I-Drive. The room was very clean and comfortable The bed had a pillowtop mattress and the breakfast was good. We will definitely stay at this Ramada Inn again. Thank you Hotels.com for a great bargain at a sweet hotel.

Fri evenings staff at check in was awesome. Sat morning staff was rude and inconsiderate. Room was as expected. Fairly clean and comfortable. Location was the best for being near the YMCA for our swim meet. Close by to food, entertainment roads.

The hotel is in a good location. But the room's interiors are outdated, they offer a "full breakfast buffet", but fail to mention how small the area is and their limited seating area.

Fantastic beds. Great to have the convienience of a microwave & fridge/freezer! Close to the I-ride bus that will take you to most places. Also close to Airport bus, supermarket and restaurants.

The hotel condition was shabby. This was the first time I stayed in a Ramada Inn hotel and I will be more selective my next time. We checked in late and the next day we didn't get our room serviced. However, it is in a good location close to the parks.

The rooms were small and out of date, but clean. The pool was small but we had access to the YMCA aquatic center next door. The breakfast was just as described. However, the breakfast area was far too small for the number of guest in the hotel. It was impossible to wait long enough to use the two waffle makers and the food bins were emptied soon after […] being filled. The staff did their jobs adequately, but didn't seem very happy to be there. I'm glad we only stayed one night. Lees meer
