Ruim appartement in ski-oord Teton Village. Direct naast de gloednieuwe gondelbaan. Schoon, geen harde geluiden, complete keuken. Nadeel: receptie is overkoepelend, dus geen balie voor vragen bij hotel.

Onderweg naar Yellow Stone Park hebben wij hier een prima overnachting gehad. Een rustige en mooie locatie, met prima kamer. Echt een plek om even tot rust te komen.

Keurig hotel, met een leuk (indoor) zwembad. Driggs is een "plaatsje van niks" met verrassende eetmogelijkheden (een uitstekend Thais restaurant bijvoorbeeld). Het ligt wel redelijk ver van het park Grand Teton af. Al met al een redelijk tot goed alternatief voor de dure hotels in Jackson.
Ligging.
Wort Hotel ligt in Jackson dicht bij Historische gemeenschap en museum van Jackson Hole, Resort Snow King en Safari's Wilde natuur en natuurgeschiedenis, en biedt allerlei opties om te skiën en andere wintersportactiviteiten te doen. In de buurt vind je ook Stadsplein van Jackson en Nationaal elandreservaat.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Laat je spieren na een lange dag op de piste relaxen in één van de 2 spabaden, of maak gebruik van een fitnesscentrum. Stap in de gratis skishuttle van dit hotel in de bergen en je staat in een mum van tijd op de piste. Als het skiën gedaan is, kan je in de bar van dit hotel gezellig après-skiën .
Dit hotel in romantische stijl heeft 2 restaurants. Dit hotel biedt op bepaalde dagen gratis een welkomstdrankje van de manager aan. In openbare ruimtes is een draadloze snelle internetverbinding gratis beschikbaar, terwijl de accommodatie over een computer met internetverbinding beschikt. Parkeren op locatie is gratis. De accommodatie kan gasten na het uitchecken verlengde parkeerrechten geven (tegen toeslag). De volledige renovatie van deze accommodatie werd in oktober 2009 voltooid.

Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad of het binnenplein. Wort Hotel heeft 59 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van iPod-dockingstations en een cd-speler. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met lakens van Egyptische katoen, een donsdeken en premium beddengoed. Een draadloze snelle internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar.
Elke 42-inch flatscreen televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, een dubbele wastafel, badjassen en designer toiletartikelen.
Elke kamer heeft een koelkast en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis krant en make-up/scheerspiegels. Een turndownservice wordt elke avond aangeboden terwijl een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar is. Op de kamers van Wort Hotel mag niet worden gerookt.

"Decline in overall quality"
I have stayed at the Wort Hotel for years. However, this time instead of travel size toiletries, there were re-fillable bottles. And when I went to take a shower, there was no hot water! All that was offered in compensation was an apology. In a hotel of this quality/cost, I expect more.

Location in Jackson was very convenient. Staff very prompt and courteous. Jackson should be very proud to have such a beautiful hotel serve its guests.

The only things I would have changed: firmer pillows (they had the type where you feel like you're only laying on your arm under your head) and add a fan over/near the bed to get some nice air flow in the room. Nice staff, nice decor and convenient location. Beds were so hard, could have been sleeping on a board. Pillows also extremely uncomfortable.

We loved the little bear waiting for us in our room. He was very welcoming. The hotel has a great location, and gave us Easterners a real feel for the old west.

"a great experience"
This hotel is gorgeous! I went in May which is offseason so the price was lower than the peak winter months. I was immediatley blown away by the amazing grand staircase at the entrance and very friendly and down to earth staff. They give you a real key to open the handcarved door to you room which for me was filled with beautiful paintings of the Tetons […] and lodge furniture. The Wort Hotel upgraded us for free without asking to the Cowgirl Suite which was fantastic other than a very firm too firm a mattress. The decor was very tastefully done, the best for our entire trip. Our suite was nice and quiet, which we had requested thanks to other reviewers who clued us that some rooms close to the bar might be noisy. The spinach […] salad was good. The entrees were okay. The music in the bar was excellent, though the tables were a bit too close together. No pool. 2 hot tubs in work out room were ok, one was way too hot, both enclosed. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The decor and history of the Wort is enough reason to stay. Staff was excellent. Everything was clean. Great location! Lees meer

"The Wort in Jackson Hole"
So anyway, the Hotel is nice they do try with the extras like Aveda hair products and Starbucks coffee but trying to adjust the heat is another story. You will need an engineering degree first, secondly the hotel clerk told us we had been upgraded since we were staying for 4 days, UPGRADE? to the handicapped room! Of course we didn't notice the golf […] ball size shower head until the next morning! The third thing is the food at the hotel, YUCK! We ate breakfast lunch and dinner and dessert but then deciced to eat at the Good Foods Store! When we asked the bartender what we should do in town his answer?.......drive out of town! When walking through the front doors we were immediately transferred to the Old West. The rich wood bannisters, the giant fireplace, the amazing blended decor of past & present, and the photographs & oversized oil paintings that literally took our breath away. Wow! That is how you are supposed to feel when you visit Jackson Hole! Everything else was […] a bonus - huge log beds, flatscreen tvs, bathrobes...and even a Teddy Bear. The Silver Dollar Grill has a fabulous breakfast that will prepare your body & soul for whatever activites you chose to partake in your day! "Wort Hotel Jackson Hole a true class act"
I have been traveling the west for over twenty years skiing and fishing and i must say that the Wort Hotel was by far the best Hotel i ever stayed in on all those trips.From the plush western flare rooms to the staff not to mention the great food and entertainment i couldn't ask for more.No detail was overlooked with the Wort they made you feel special […] and after a day of skiing the hot chocolate and warm home made cookies were a welcome.We enjoyed the gym and soaking in the hot tubs after snowmobiling and skiing all day and it was a short walk to our room after dancing to the great music in the Silver Dollar Bar.Over all we would highly recommend a stay at this hotel and we felt it was a GREAT VALUE. "The Wort hotel in Jackson Hole"
Great hotel! One block from Jackson's central square. Most restaurants 1 -2 blocks from hotel. Free hotel shuttle to and from mountain (although only one a day ..8:15 am and pick up at 4:30pm). Otherwise Jackson Hole has shuttle bus for $3.00 that travels back and forth untill 11:30pm. In town bus is free. Rooms were spacious, wide screen TV's, Starbucks […] coffee packets available for in room coffee. Tea's also available. Plenty hot water. Great historic bar (a locals fav). Good hotel restaurant. We decided to stay at the Wort for a last minute snowmobile trip and were pleasantly surprised. The concierge booked all of our rides, which were amazing! The hotel was very clean and the staff quite friendly and helpful. We loved the we tern decor throughout the hotel. If you are into nightlife, the silver dollar bar downstairs has live bands every […] night, and was always packed with tourists and locals alike. We had a super room with all the conveniences -- including a sofa and comfy chair. The room was immaculate and the hotel staff was helpful and friendly. I was looking forward to the stay -- and now I'm looking forward to my next one! The location is great, the service was good -- and we felt like we had a little slice of heaven staying there.

Heard a lot about the hotel, but stayed in better places for the money. Lives on its iconic reputation sadly. Reception staff made no effort to acquaint us with facilities & we had to ask about meals & restaurant. Elevator was down a long corridor at back near a store room & looked like a goods lift. Our room was fine but overlooked the back of the […] building on to a flat area with an escape ladder to the roof. The beds were traditional western style & very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, with separate shower & 2 wash basins. Our bed had been turned down, a CD playing & a choc on the pillow when we returned form unloading our luggage, which was a nice touch. "Great Old Hotel"
This is a great historic hotel, with an interesting history situated in a scenic town. Food and entertainment where close and convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being the off season the price was fantastic.
"Wonderful Wort"
Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. We were in a suite which was western in style and beautifully appointed. The Silver Dollar Saloon and Restaurant attached to the hotel were excellent as well. The hotel capped the visit to Jackson Hole, a great town.

Beautiful room and convevience to local sites.. Only negative was the late check in time of 4 p.m.

"Hard to sleep with all the outdoor noises"
Extremely noisey, it isn't until around 2:30 a.m. that things begin to quite down, this was every night, not just a single happening. Perhaps if you had an inside room (not on the street side) it would have been better sleeping.
