Quality Inn in Jacksonville

Overall stay was very good. One problem, I could not even get a cup of coffee in the morning the 2 days I was there! A large group of people cleaned out all of the breakfast food & drinks both mornings.

My family and I came down to this Quality Inn to stay to see my brother while he was at Camp Geiger. We booked two rooms under one name through hotels.com. My party arrived before the other, and the female clerk during the day was very gracious to us. She let us check in early since we had driven a long way and had two rooms ready. She also went way […] out of her way to make sure that we were initially placed on the first floor (for my grandmother), but then once she found out that my grandmother was injured, she changed our rooms to give us two rooms next to each other that was handicap accesible. I cannot begin to describe how much stress this relieved on us. The rooms were clean, the morning food was WONDERFUL, and overall we had a very good stay. I have spent time at other hotels in Jacksonville and this one by far is the best kept secret. The rooms and hotel was very clean and for the price it is perfect.

Great location for Camp Lejune recruit training graduation. New flat panel tv, great location, and friendly staff. Only small issue was with pillows, they were a little small and a bit too fluffy; my wife and I woke up with a little stiffness in our necks. Other than that nice quiet and relaxing.

The name of the hotel had changed and had the new sign up but we were looking for it under the old name, we should have been informed in the confirmation email. The hotel was under construction/repair during our stay, so it was a little noisey and irritating but comfortable and convenient. The price was not bad either. I would stay here again.

This is the old Inn Keeper - looks like the place got a makeover with the name change. Paint, linens, etc all looked new - lots of outlets for the computers and cell phones et. al. - only downside was a random one: a fly and a creepy crawly in our room that creeped the wife out. Please note that the hotel now bears the name Choice hotel on the building..so you will need to look for that and not Innkeeper. Hotel is under new owenership along with a complete renovation. Clean rooms. I did see a roach crawl across the microwave. The beds are rock hard. The exhaust fan does not work. Overall a clean place to sleep. It is just off […] the main drag so the noise is a bit less. Check in was not easy. Thankfully I had printed off my invoice from Hotel.com. When I gave my name, they asked if I was at the correct hotel and if I really had a reservation. They did not have me in their system. When I showed them my invoice then, the lady had to call the owner to figure out how to proceed..after about 10 minutes and much appology I finally got checked in. Wow, I've stayed at the Innkeeper in Jacksonville a few times before; but, something was different this time. The name has changed to Quality Inn and the rooms have been painted and they just put in new matress's. Well in the room I stayed in there was a new matress. I haven't slept that well in years! The name of the hotel had been changed from the Innkeeper to the Quality Inn. I had difficulty finding it as no other business puts their street address out, so I had no idea where I was in relation to the street numbers. Parking spaces are small, I had trouble parking my full size van in their full parking lot. This hotel was one that I would stay in again...matter of fact I'm staying in it again this weekend. I stayed in a hotel that is right around the corner from this one and is about the same price and I would chose this one over that on any day. They were doing a little rennovation in the lobby but it did not affect my stay at all.

THE FIRST ROOM ASSIGNED THE AC DID NOT WORK PROPERLY, THE TUB BACKED UP, AND EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NON SMOKING SOMEONE ADJACENT TO US WAS SMOKING AND THE SMELL CAME INT OUR ROOM. THE NEXT MORNING WE REQUESTED A ROOM CHANGE AND THEY ALLOWED US TO CHANGE. THIS WAS OUR SECOND STAY IN TWO WEEKS DUE TO WORK.

Pricing avg with surrouding hotels. Hotel under construction during stay but not disruptive. You can tell in your room that hotel used to be pet friendly b/c your room carpet smells like cigarrettes or wet dog. Linens could be more plush or soft.

they were obviously redoing the hotel when I arrived; lobby area all torn up, breakfast area being done over as well. The pool was also being serviced, and there were workers all over drilling, hammering and sawing for the update. This Hotel does a good job with rooms and outside appearances. They are very concern with your stay and the cleanliness of your room. I feel very comfortable when my husband and I stay at this hotel.

The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were amazingly spotless, and the breakfast was good and so were the service agents very friendly a must stay from now every time I go down to NC to visit camp lejuene.

Parkplätze sind in ausreichender Zahl direkt beim Hotel verfügbar. Ein super Hotel für diesen Preis, in dem ich jederzeit wieder absteigen würde. I stayed in this hotel for two weeks and have been positively surprised. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The furniture is old but in good condition. There is free TV with ~ 80 channels, free wifi Internet with good speed, refrigerator and microwave in the room. On the floor you find free coffee all day long. A Walmart Supercenter, opened 24/7, is in walking distance. Parking places are around the hotel. A very good hotel for a very good price, I would stay there every time again. Lees meer

The Innkeeper was a decent place to stay. The room was clean, the continental breakfast was good - standard but good. It was a very basic hotel and I would not want to stay there for more than a night or two. Issues: 1) They told me at the front desk when checking in that the taxes were figured incorrectly in the online form, so it was $10 more than […] I thought it would be. 2) I asked for a second floor room because it was just me and my son (I am female) but they said they were booked up. 3) There were no bedspreads on the beds. Just sheets and blankets with a kind of oversheet. 4) The beds were extremely firm - fine for us but just something to consider. We got a handicapped bathroom. We didn't need it and the water got all over the bathroom floor during showers because the drainage wasn't great. On the plus side, the AC blower was not loud. Lees meer

The hotel surpassed our expectations. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The service was great, as was the complimentary breakfast bar. When we return, we know who we will call for a reservation.

Hotel was good for the price, and the room was clean. We did have a small glitch initially; the toilet was stopped up when my wife initially used it, but it was taken care of in less than a few minutes after calling the front desk. The front desk clerk was also very helpful when I urgently needed a fax sent to me. Several places to eat were easily […] within walking distance. The Innkeeper is fine for a few nights. Nothing too special or too terrible about it. Location is convenient -- near restaurants and mall. It felt a little old and there were no comforters on the beds, but that didn't bother me too much. The only true complaint I have was that the A/C was permanently set on 60 degrees (and it was quite chilly outside, […] so there was no need for blasting cool air in the room). For visiting a Marine, which is what most people are doing in Jacksonville, it's a perfectly fine place to stay. Lees meer

When I got to my room, there wasnt a comforter on the bed and the room smelled of stale smoke. Maybe a little air freshener would have been nice, but the room overall ws clean and accommodating.

We went to Jacksonville to visit our Marine and our first grandchild. Happy times. The staff is extremely military aware and friendly. They were warm and helpful every day we were there. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is right across from a Super Wal-Mart and near several other hotels and restaurants. Truly convenient, even […] if you're traveling with a large group. Breakfast was convenient and available at extended hours. Rooms had a fridge for convenience. Hotel was very nice and clean. Service was good. Breakfast was even better. Lots of places to eat.

We had a wobbly toilet but let the front desk know and it was fixed by the time we had gotten back. The breakfast was great and really like the sausage gravy and biscuits. Just wish the pillows were a bit longer and not so soft. We really enjoyed staying there and the staff was friendly and helpful

I RESERVED A NON SMOKING ROOM. I DIDN'T GET ONE. MY ROOM SMELLED OF SMOKE AND THERE WERE ASHTRAYS BUT BECAUSE IT WAS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND, THEY WERE COMPLETELY BOOKED. THEN WHEN I CHECKED OUT THEY TRIED TO OVERCHARGE ME.

Hotel was exactly what we needed for traveling lacrosse team tournament in Maysville. Breakfast was great, nice hotel! Thank you.

Hotel was very clean, staff friendly and courteous. I would stay there again.

Just returned from seeing my son off on his first deployment from Camp LeJeune. The hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. We were on the first floor close to the lobby and it was very quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone - especially families. The breakfast was also an added feature.
