very nice hotel... good polite and helpful staff

A bit out of the way location wise, but with large quiet rooms. Hotel staff were very friendly. Wifi was spotty at times, but overall worked fine. My room had a shower and bathtub, and hotpot with several tea choices- always nice to see. Would definitely recommend to others.

We were expecting something that was more like an actual Chateau - It was OK, but frankly, not what we expected from the name. It's also not a 4-5 star hotel, more like a 3-4. The brakfast was OK, but pricey.

The front desk staff were very helpful and went out of their way to be accommodating. They all spoke English very well. I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was large and the bathroom was wonderful with a tub, unusual for Europe and a welcome treat!

Great deal on weekend stay breakfast included. Hotel is a good 15 min walk to centre of bordeaux but the scenic walk along the river side is worth the walk and if you're feeling lazy you can take the tram which comes every few minutes. When you get out of the Airport take the 1 Bus, it will take you into the centre of Bordeaux. Then get a taxi, you can figure out the trams afterwards. The hotel is a bit out but pretty good - staff are very helpful, friendly, speak English lots better than my ropey French and the food in the restaurant is good. The Formula is very good value for 3 […] courses but the mains only have 2 options neither of which appealed the two nights we eat in. Bottle of Bordeaux was very good value. Never had breakfast. Tram is 10 mins walk from the hotel - head towards the river, the hotel has maps - and a couple/few stops to the centre. Depending on what you are doing, the one day, all day ticket is good value and the service is every 7/10 minutes. Would stay there again. If you want to do any of the wine trips, book with Bordeaux Tourism in advance, we wanted to go but the trip(s) were booked up. Enjoy! Lees meer

The hotel was well located and was good value for money. Two tram stops from center. There is also a bike stand outside the front door which I highly recommend. Parking is not free but this can be negotiated! The room was very small though and a bit tight for two people. Finding this place was a little dicey... maybe because we were challenged in French and we could have gotten better directions getting to this hotel. The location of this hotel is unassuming since it;s tucked deep into a residential area. We didn't really hang-out in the hotel as much since we were in Bordeaux to explore the wineries but the hotel was […] very clean and the room wa stayed was very comfortable. We didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant downstairs but it looked like a lovely place to have a brunch. I enjoyed our stay at this hotel the most. The beds were so comfortable, the bathroom huge, instant coffee and tea in the room. The hotel restaurant had some of the best food we enjoyed on our entire France trip. The hotel was a little trek from the city center but the walk to the tram was easy enough to get to and maneuver.

We stayed here for 4 nights, front desk staff spoke English and were helpful. Room size was bigger compared to European standards, King bed was 2 doubles put together and the one side was much harder than the other, room was fairly clean and nicely appointed. We had a non-smoking room but we could smell smoke as we walked down the hallway. The location […] was not the greatest, fairly far from the city center but you could walk it in about 20-30minutes. We had breakfast included and it was fine, internet was free you just had to ask for code from the font desk, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't! Not a bad place to stay for the price. The hotel is reasonably close to the tourist attractions in Bordeaux city, but not really close enough to walk instead of drive. The facilities and decor of the hotel are a little outdated- tons of gold accents, red velvet, mirrored glass, and dark wood. The hotel was located off the beaten path, but easily walkable to the city center or water. The hallways were musty and needed updating. The rooms were small, but clean; providing us with everything we needed while there. The biggest issue was being charged extra taxes upon departure when the beauty of booking on hotels.com is that all charges are paid […] prior to your arrival. The Mercure Chartron was conveniently located to the city centre wih easy access by bus & bike. The hotel offered good facilities and secure parking, and was very comfortable. Would recomemnd as a city break or as a base for touring the wine region.

Petit déjeuner en buffet déjà débarrassé à 10 h pile . Après réclamations , nous avons été servi au bar , avec petit déjeuner simple. à améliorer

Deux stations de tramway à environ 10 minutes de marche de l'hôtel donnent accès au centre-ville. Très pratique.

Calme mais un peu excentré - bon accueil et chambre agréable avec bonne literie

Tres bien, un peu loin du centre a pied.

Séjour agréable : pas très lojn des quais de la Garonne où il fait bon flaner et à un quart d'heure du centre ville à pieds et 10 mn par le tram (station proche à 5 mn). Rénovation immobilière dans ce quartier historique où les courtiers en vins cèdent peu à peu le pas sur une urbanisation maitrisée. Hôtel offrant un bon rapport qualité prix Cependant, il est dommage que la personne à l'accueil ne trouve pas de solution suite à une demande de service pressing D'autant plus que l'imprimé à notre disposition mentionnait un prêt de table et fer à repasser Pour le reste la chambre était confortable et le petit déjeuné varié

Cet hotel n est pas spécialement beau toutefois le professionnalisme du personnel, la terrasse et la qualité des équipements font que je recommande sans soucis cet hotel . les deux bémols concernent le manque de charme de l hotel et , a fortiori, des chambres ainsi qu une situation géographique un peu éloigne du centre ville ( 30 minutes a pied )

The hotel room was sufficiently large and seemed to have been refurbished recently. The breakfast buffet was very nice with the extra bonus of being able to digest it sitting outside in the inner courtyard. The reception area was otherwise rather dull, but staff mostly friendly and helpful. Hyggelig greit hotell, et stykke å gå fra sentrum. Fin parkering, bra frokost, litt gamle slitte rom. Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt betjening.

Mercure Chateau Chartrons er et veldig fint hotell som ligger noe vekk fra selve sentrum av Bordeaux. Gangavstand er ca 20 minutter langs en relativt trafikkert gate. Byens geniale bysykkelsystem gjør imidlertid at dette ikke bør være noe problem. En stasjon for bysykler er rett utenfor hotellinngangen og det tar fem minutter å sykle inn til gågateområdet […] i byen. På sykkel er i det hele tatt en måte å utforske byen på som kan anbefales! Vi ble tatt godt i mot på hotellet og var alt i alt veldig fornøyd. Rommene er av fin størrelse og frokosten kan nytes både innendørs eller utendørs i en hyggelig bakgård. Lees meer

très bon Hôtel, accueil discret et efficace, seul bémol: un peu loin à pied du centre, usage du parking payant de l'hôtel fortement recommandé

Tout est correct. Bon accueil, propre, chambres confortables et très bon petit déjeuner. Un bémol toutefois, mettez des doubles vitrages, inadmissible qu'il n'y en ai pas quand la chambre est sur rue et qu'il y a beaucoup de passage.
