Na een prettig ontvangst konden we heel vlot de kamer in. De kamer was een aangenaame verassing: ruim, schoon en netjes. Met twee afzonderlijke flatscreens en ruime badkamer een prettig verblijf. De prijzen voor roomservice waren meer dan redelijk. Een goed uitgeruste gym maakte dat we ook lekker hebben kunnen sporten.De ligging is prettig dichtbij veel restaurants, een park en winkelstraten. Ook is het makkelijk om naar diverse bezienswaardigheden te gaan, te voet dan wel met openbaar vervoer of eigen vervoer ( alhoewel wij zelf dit keer gaan auto hebben gehuurd). Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent en ook het flesje water op de hotelkamer werd zeer op prijs gesteld. We zaten eerder in het hotel hier tegenover, ook een prima hotel maar het sofihotel is ons net beter bevallen.

Had a nice and comfortable stay at this hotel during my time in Philadelphia nov. 2011. There could be some better explanation about how to arrange the airport shuttle when you are not familiar with it, couldn't recall it on their (local) website and never got answered my question request long before I planned my stay there. Shuttle drivers themselfs were really helpfull and friendly, like most frontdesk personell, except for one man being rude and not hospital for me as his guest. Most of all I enjoyed my stay at Days Inn Springfield ;-) Room was oke!

Dit was echt een goed hotel. De service van het personeel was fantastisch. De dames bij de Balie en het ontbijt waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zo vind je ze niet vaak. Ontbijt kon iets beter bagel en koffie. In de buurt heb je een winkelcentrum en veel eetgelegenheden. In 20 minuten ben je in het centrum van Philadelphia dus dat is zeker te doen. Hotel is 2 jaar oud dus alles is nog nieuw, kamer is groot en de bedden zijn prima. Zeker een aanrader.

Ligging.
Marriott Philadelphia Airport ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in Philadelphia, dicht bij John Heinz Nationaal natuurreservaat bij Tinicum en Fort Mifflin. Bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving zijn onder andere Wells Fargo Center en Citizens Bank Park.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Marriott Philadelphia Airport heeft een binnenzwembad, een spabad en een fitnessvoorziening die altijd open is. Een draadloze internetverbinding is beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes (tegen betaling). Dit hotel met 3,5 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, een huwelijksservice en een cateringdienst voor evenementen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, een cadeaushop of kiosk en een wasserij. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling parkeren. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.

De luchthaven ligt ten zuiden van Center City en is snel te bereiken met de SEPTA-trein. In de wijk South Philly bestelt de plaatselijke bevolking hun authentieke Philly Cheesesteaks in Pat's of Geno's. Beide restaurants staan in de 100 jaar oude Italiaanse markt, een openluchtmarkt die 10 woonblokken omspant. Nabij de luchthaven staan verschillende sportstadions, zoals Lincoln Financial Field, Citizens Bank Park en Wachovia Center waar grote professionele teams hun thuisbasis hebben.

Excellent stay, quiet, and able to depend upon a good night rest and also be able to walk to the terminal..

"Only stay if convenience is your concern"
The best thing that can be said about this hotel is that you don't have to leave the terminal to get there. We chose to stay here due to a flight that arrived at 1:30 am, and we didn't want to drive or wait for a shuttle. Our room was very dated, especially the bathroom, and the bed was very uncomfortable. "Great Airport hotel for a great price"
Only complaint I had was with the service at the bar. First bartender seemed clueless and totally uninterested in serving anyone. Fortunately her shift was up so another guy replaced her who was very attentive. Another guy at the bar decided to be obnoxious about the fact he was an Eagles fan and was bitter about not being in the playoffs. The Hotel was great, I loved the bed and all the pillows! Parking was $20 + for 1 night and the attendants were rude.

We had an overnight layover before flying to the Caribbean for a week and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. The accomodations were great, food at the restaurant was good and it was super quiet. We walked from the aiport to the hotel and back again in the morning, so convenient!!

This hotel even had a good choice of food in the restaurant but be aware that if you do not have your boarding pass in hand and your airline is going out of a D gate, you will have a major trek to get to the ticketing counters for terminal D.

My husband and I stayed there recently after our wedding as we had a 6 am flight out the next morning for our honeymoon - it is very conveniently located right on terminal B.

This hotel is not in a convenient location and is very difficult to access by car. If you are looking to experience Philly this is not the hotel to stay in!

"Philly Airport Marriot"
We always use this hotel if we have a flight anytime in the morning. On a scale of 1 to 10 the convenience is an 11. Our room was really nice, and we had a drink in the bar the night before which was also nice. The pricing is fair, but definitely worth it. The hotel is attached to the B concourse. We will be back next time we fly, highly recommended. Can't beat the convenience if flying early. Parking garage right there and a sky bridge right into the b/c terminal of phl. If you have more time and want to repark the car, other choices in the area will be cheaper and newer.

I had stayed in the Marriott Courtyard in the city and that was beyond our expectation but the one next to the airport left alot to be desired. Please find a better place to put your refrigerators and you definently have to buy new ones. Their condition is deplorable. "Clueless about WiFi"
The only reason I stayed here was its convenience to the airport -- you can walk to the gate. Typically, I avoid hotels that have an extra charge for WiFi, as this chain does. Some day they'll wake up and learn that free WiFi is a basic feature, like towels and shampoo. I avoid hotels that charge for WiFi, so the ONLY reason I stayed here was it proximity to the airport. I could turn my car in one day early and walk to the gate. The big negative: the daily charge for WiFi. Why Marriott still insists on charging guests for WiFi is beyond me.

"Great Location, nice people, lousy service"
Could not get housekeeping to help with room problems even though requested at check in. 10 hours later manager finally did. Food (breakfast of coffee and bagel) took 45 minutes was cold and came for 1 instead of 2 as ordered.
It was surprisingly comfortable, QUIET and clean for a hotel near the airport. The bed was deliciously comfortable. I only spent a short night there during a lay over of sorts but it was worth the money for good rest and actually it wasn't that expensive as far as Marriotts usually go. The staff was wonderful as well.

For the amount we paid for 2 days internet should have ;been included in the price of the hotel. They gave us a handicapped room and we were not handicapped and when we took a shower water went all over the floor. There was no kleenex in the room one thing of coffee and no condiments for the coffee.

"Easy stay"
We had a flight early in the morning. the hotel room was really nice and clean. We got up early and walked right into the terminal from the hotel. Nice room, comfortable, easy, and hassle free. With easy access to both the airport (walkway bridge) and to downtown Philadelphia via train, this was an ideal place to stay if you're making a quick trip to Philadelphia. The room was very comfortable and the staff courteous and helpful at all times. However, there was only the one restaurant in the hotel and the food there was not that great.

First of all, let me say the Hotel is excellent. There were no sounds of the airplanes. And because of the convenience, it was easy to catch our flights. When I called the front desk from the courtesy phone at the airport, the reception was bad. There was a loud hum on the phone and hard to hear. Then when I asked for a shuttle, the lady at the front […] desk told me we could walk to the hotel. The three of us had just traveled back from Germany and we were exhausted. So we walked to the hotel. We had difficulty getting to the hotel because one person had to push our elderly companion in a wheelchair and the other person was struggling with two suitcases. I realy enjoyed the safety of the ariport surrounding and parking with the very quite room. I am not sure how they do it but you cannot hear anything outside the building. The parking deck added to my enjoyment with a secure specific area for the hotel guests. We would definately stay there again!

Excellent restaurant and it was just a short walk from the elevator! Our server was very courteous, the food was excellent, and it was a good place just to relax between travels.
