This is a clean and functional hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The gym is small but ok for a one night stay. The noice from people walking in the corrodors can be clearly heard in the room, but usually all is quiet at night.

This was our second stay in 10 days but unlike the previous review we gave we have to say the room was disappointing as the plug on the sink did not fit so no water would stay in the bowl and a very large coach parked outside our window and at 8.10am the driver put on the engine and continued to rev and keep on for 45 mins!! this obviously disturbed […] us and even the tv was unable to be heard. He then returned at 9.00am and turned it on again waiting for his passengers to embark at 9.30. We were very disappointed as had enjoyed our stay so much we thought we would have a relaxing morning, particularly as this was the day of my Fathers funeral in Brandeston. The reception lady was also not as friendly and did not ask if everything was OK as too busy chatting to her colleague!! Lees meer

We had a lovely large room which even had aseparate seating area. The reception staff on arrival were very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is positioned near a main road, there was no disturbance of traffic noise at all. We definitely would return.

we had reserved a standard double room with smoking, but on our arrival we were allocated a non smoking room and we were told there were no more rooms available.Fortunately one such room had been recently vacated but had not been cleaned, the receptionist quickly arranged for this to happen and within half an hour we were given what we had originally […] requested. Our stay was very pleasant and all hotel staff were polite and very friendly. we will use this hotel again on our next visit. Lees meer

Staff very helpful and friendly...Clean and comfortable... What more would you want?

The hotel itself is fairly ok,close to the town and station but far enough away tobe quiet,however the restaurant service may of well been by run by the hotels rivals in an attempt to deliver a sub standard service,never book a family room as all you get is a sofa bed which makes you fell like you're sleeping in top a railway line tracks.also the hotel […] bill was wrong and when I questioned it I was made to feel small and petty,safe to say Ipswich holiday inn will not be seeing me again and jury's inn can expect a visit from me next time i go away,which is many times a year. Great cheap place for and close to Jimmy's Farm

A very nice clean comfortable hotel, with very friendly courteous staff. However, our beds were too hard, could you consider providing matress toppers for rental.

We chose this Holiday Inn for its proximity to Ipswich , and the standard was good, breakfast buffet substantial, and the Health Club and swimming pool attractive, though the changing rooms could do with some updating. We had booked through Hotels.com but the Reception was not aware that we had paid! Fortunately I had printed out a copy of the booking […] which confirmed the payment, but it had not gone through the hotel's own system by the time we arrived. I had booked on Saturday morning for the same evening. The Holiday Inn then took our printout and made their own copy. Apart from that, the service was good, and we enjoyed our brief stay. Lees meer

bed was too small, tv was old with only 4 channels wifi 14 quid a day! why not free (q hotels) cleaner left the window open all day no info sheet in room, no promotion or info of meal offers or menus,not really encouraged to use the restaurant. room clean, good size, lovely health centre open late ( excellent idea) breakfast was fine. location of hotel […] was good, nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly but, upon arrival, I booked for the restaurant that evening, a morning newspaper and an alarm call. The booking was not made, the paper never arrived and the alarm call didn't happen. When I compained they told me they were sorry and it would be sorted out for me for the next morning. Next morning no paper and no alarm call!! […] On top of that the current rate to connect to the internet is extortionate. Lees meer

The room was acceptable - it may have had a refresh a while ago. Corredors looked like they werein some form of institution. Pool very tired. Drinks over priced. Restaurant was poor service and mediocre food. The memorable part of my stay was the buffet breakfast which was very nice despite the poor servic. I will not be staying again.

Nothing special - but nothing wrong with the place either. In an industrial estate just off the A12 so easy location. Couple of miles from city centre. Rooms clean and comfortable if a little small. Friendly bar, although closed at midnight on a Saturday. Good reception staff. For cheap price and good service, definetly would stay again.

Close to the centre of town if driving and nice rooms. Good value and would stay again.

Kun 3 km fra Ipswich Town FC og sentrum i landlige omgivelser. Rent, romslig, trivelig, spa, Sky Sport på TV, god mat og drikke. Anbefales!

Helt ok Hotel med trevlig personal och fina, rena rum. Något hårda sängar kanske. Saknade Wifi, det fanns endast i baren och kostade då över 6 pund per timme. Det fanns en dator i receptionen men ville man använda internet kostade det 3 pund för 15 minuter.....
