Grand Palms Spa & Golf Resort in Pembroke Pines

Het hotel is behoorlijk gedateerd airco maakt een hoop lawaai. Het ontbijt was redelijk maar meer variatie had wel gekund. De ligging is perfect en ook een mooie omgeving..

Prima prijs kwaliteit, zeker als je van Golf houdt

Conveniently situated near I-95; Quiet, very friendly people, nice garden with swimming pool made it very comfortable to stay. I stayed 3 days for business and would do it agian next time.

The hotel location was good and very convenient. The room itself I didn't feel it was clean enough, but at least I was able to stay/sleep in the hotel.

The hotel lied about everything. Nothing worked and it was a motel.

The grounds are gorgeous.....the rooms old.....the "free" breakfast, terrible.... while it may have been worth the $$$, we wouldn't go back.

The only issue is that we found a small caterpillar in the Tub and mi Daughter was histeric...

A perfect location for my projected weekend plans which included a perfect day of golf. It is a shame that the rooms first impression was that of a roadside motel where I might consider $20 / night rates. Beds looked slept in with lumpy bed coverings and the very dim lighting. After the first night I had to change rooms and requested an upgrade which […] was to be charged at an additional $30 per night. Reluctantly, I took the upgrade which was more in line with what I initially expected. But now I find an additional $195 + charge on my card that is void of explanation. I am trying to find a reason for this charge, but the desk clerk can only tell me to try and reach the manager later. ... Service in the dining room was equally disappointing and pool closing at dusk made for an incomplete relaxation time. I expected more from this hotel. It was an OK stay for two days, breakfast was good, room was clean, but for "spa and golf resort" I expected a little more than a super 8 look alike. I've stayed in better hotels for less. The only thing that bothered me was the room I stayed in was right infront of the bar next to the pool and I felt like I didn't have […] much privacy. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Grand Palms Spa & Golf Resort to attend WrestleMania 28 in Miami. It is located relatively close to Sun Life Stadium and right off of I-75, which is convenient. The room was alright. The shower head was loud and wheezy and that was little annoying. We were a little upset that there were only a few TV channels (ESPNU […] but no ESPN, by the way) and the fitted sheet on our bed wouldn't stay down. It kept coming off and coiling up on our shoulders throughout the night. I mentioned this to the hotel staff and hope they do something about it. Still, a good overall value. The hotels location is great and plenty of restaurants. The room was clean and good but housekeeping serve was bad. We were 4 gst but had towels for only 3. Call housekeeping, which never answer, so we called the front desk to request extra towels. Came back late at night and only had 1 clean towel, the rest where gone. Finally on the last day we got […] the 4 towels. Pool was not heated as was expected. Only two ice machine both in the 1st floor away from everything and no elevator. The front desk staff had bad judgement in giving out the rooms. Saw a few young couple in the 1st floor but family and older couples where in the 2nd floor. Hotel was nice

It needs to be updated. For the money you're paying it was a bit old fashion

It rains a lot and the steps (tile) to second floor (no elevator) can be very slippery. It does not help that the banister was loose.

Very outdated hotel. Beds had very little spring support, trail of ants on the door way, AC didnt work very well. It is in a very nice area right off 75 just north of Miami Lakes. Area was very nice, but hotel is very old and not very well maintained.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. It's far from being a resort though. The tiki bar was not a bar at all. It was never open when we were there, which was a weekend. The restaurant was nice, but we never are there. The parking is far from the rooms. The pool was nice. The room was clean, but had a little smell to it. The hot water […] nozzle of the bath tub was broken. I let the maintenance man know and he said he would come back the next day to fix it. He never came back. Hotel is very outdated. Had to change room several times because of musty humid smells. Hotel has not been updated or renovated at all. Everything about thisproperty is stuck in the "80's. Also website states that suite has two double beds and king size bed but this is not true. There are two double beds and a sofa bed.

While I appreciate this Hotel is old. There is no excuse to have large roaches in the rooms. The continental breakfast buffet was poor. I will not stay there again.

A friend and I stayed here for 6 nights in a suite. Hotel needs a good make over. Had poor water pressure most of the time for the shower. Also the water temp kept changing from hot to cold all the time. A/C was very loud. We didn't do the included breakfast because it didn't look very good. Ate at McDonald's instead. Left with a bunch of bug bites. […] Don't know if it was from the golf course or the room. All I know I got a bunch of them and they itch! Golf course was in nice condition. Enjoyed that. The pool was well maintained but the water there was a bit cool for me. Saw a couple kids get in near the end of the week. Overall, it has some issues, Just don't expect a lot and you won't be disappointed. But it's OK if you want to get in some relatively cheap golf in in a warm climate. Lees meer

We were really disappointed. The promotional materials and pictures are very misleading. The room was dirty and it smelled really bad. The rooms also have a pest problem and there's no Internet connection.

This Hotel was nothing but a des[eration. The carpet was simply ridiculously dirty! To the point where you could not walk barefooted in the room, always sandals or shoes on! It smells bad too, even though I constantly requested to clean the room, it would not help since it was deep inside the carpet. The lady at the Breakfast place, was rude and did […] not care whether we would need coffee, or any special items from the La carte menu! A disaster, I would call my stay there! Lees meer

This hotel had a grand sign and entrance out front, listed itself as a Golf and Spa...the golf part was right but the Spa was a workout place across the street, unrelated, which had a workout area on the lower level, and a womens locker room with no towels, a steam room that was shut down, a sauna that wasn't on,no amenities in the bathroom, and not […] much else. The hotel was more like a motel. All rooms enter on the outside. Breakfast was free. It consisted of cold scrambled eggs and cold potatoes,bread,with no toaster,and juice,and you had to pay for bacon and/or fruit! The view of the golf course was nice, but the waitress wouldnt let us sit close to the window to watch the golfers,cuz she didn't want to clean that area.funny..we sat there anyway. Rooms were very old and run down. Not very clean.Pillow case had pink stains all over it and the pillows were lumpy. The pool wasn't heated and there was no hot tub, and No Pool Towels...It just didn't live up to the Golf and Spa description. This hotel DID NOT meet my expectations whatsoever! Pictures and description for hotel are very misleading. Our closet was broken and could not open, our sheets had holes in them, and the room had a layer of dust all throughout. Let me add that there was obviously and pest issue as well, as there were ants all over the place! The internet connection was terrible slow to the point of been a dial up. For $3 more per day I stayed at the Hilton Garden in Miramar, just a couple of miles SE of this hotel. Much nicer room and service there. This location of the Grand Palms is great but the hotel is old and needs improvement. An OK stay if you do not mind a slow internet.

This is an older establishment but it was really nice. There were fountains and sculptures around the grounds. Breakfast was ok at best but it filled you up. Sparkles the bar tender was very nice... The Valet parking guys were very friendly and helpful. Internet service sucked but that is about the only negative...

Hotel is 35 years old, and it looks like it. Old interior, old bathrooms, and an old smell in my room (leaving the door open all day didn't change a thing - the smell stays). On the upside, it's really close to the freeway and there's a nice outdoor mall nearby. You're also right on a golf course if you're into that. Hotel is dated but comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and responsive to any need we had. It was a pleasant stay. They are renovating and our room had some updates.

Staff welcoming and very helpful. Whole place looks a bit tired, but comfortable. Downside was no food or drink available after 9 pm. Not helpful for late arrivals after 10 hour flight from UK!

Istay in two rooms one of them , i didn t like its looks old noisy, and had a problem with the lights- The seconde was clean an comfortable . I dont likethe hours to the restaurant ,never i had a continental breasfat a went at 10 one minute and they told me the time is over , ,at night is the same . At one time this was the one and only resort in the area with golf course already there a Marriott GRAND Hotel It has been very well maintained and the golf was very fabulously accomodating the people friendly and service excellent with breakfast ready every morning in the restaurant and football in the bar area and golf tee times always available and […] very affordable Great find!!! This was a very convenient location for me and the service was good. The owners need to invest some money for rennovation, however. Room carpets not clean, hair on the bathroom floor, pool needs serious tile work, etc.

This is a horrible hotel and I would recomend that you stay away from it, specially if you have children.

This hotel is in need up updating badly. It has long sinced worn out its effectiveness in attracting the business clientele it may once have.

I found the resort relaxing and located to alot of things in the area. My suite was a near the pool was comfortable and clean

Grand Palms might have been great in its day, but it sorely needs a complete facelift. The rooms are old and musty smelling, my shower leaked all night, dead bugs in the room, and an A/C that barely kept the room cool. I'd rate it at the upper end of cheap motels, not worth the price.

They did not housekeeping one day.
