Goede ontvangst en service. Goed onderhoud van de kamer, maar de kamer is wel heel erg klein (212). Locatie is prima. Metro en horeca om de hoek. Voldoet voor een paar dagen.

lekker centraal gelegen, 150 meter vanaf Tubestation, rustig, net , schoon en slaapt goed. Voor luxe hotel ervaring moet je er niet zijn maar wel een heel goed weekend slaapplek voor shop aholics en congress gangers

Bij aankomst bleek airco in hotel kapot en zou pas volgende dag worden gerepareerd. Kamertemperatuur onverdragelijk. Behulpzaam personeel zorgde voor overboeking naar zusterhotel Park international aan de overkant vd straat. Bovenstaande beoordeling gaat dus over zusterhotel.

Onze kamer leek net een appartement. Je had eerst je eigen buitendeur, daarna met een aparte deur de badkamer en dan de slaapkamer, met eigen balkon/terras. Heel leuk. Fijn was ook de waterkoker met thee/koffiebenodigdheden evenals 2 grote bekers met lepel. Enige minpunt was de airco, die nogal lawaai maakte, hoewel we 's-nachts de temperatuur omlaag […] zetten. Prima hotel, uitmuntend gelegen in Tube zone 1/2 tegenover Tube station Gloucester Road en de bus stopt voor de deur. Gratis wireless (vind je niet bij de grotere hotels) en voor Londonse begrippen grote kamer. Wel gehorig als de buren uitbundig zijn, de vloerbedekking bevat vlekken maar is wel schoon. Prima bad en douche. On-street parking om de hoek […] (4 pond per uur, maximaal 4 uur) maar parkeren kan ook bij Holiday Inn of op het parkeerterrein van Sainsbury's. Alle hotelkamers in London zijn duur. Zo ook deze. Heel veel hotelkamers in London zijn klein. Zo ook deze. Met deze gegevens in het achterhoofd vond ik dit hotel zeer redelijk, echter alleen voor een kort verblijf. De ligging was, voor het doel van ons bezoek (diverse musea), perfect. Locatie is perfect, zeker met mooi weer. Heerlijk wandelen en sporten in Kensington Gardens en Hyde Park, geweldige cafeetjes voor ontbijt en lekkere koffies (advies: neem geen ontbijt in het hotel, maar haal dat lekker in de buurt). Prachtige omgeving, qua gebouwen, cultuur èn winkelen (Albert Hall, National Museum, Bromton road met Harrods, etc.). […] Hotelpersoneel is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk, maar beddengoed, hoewel schoon, had wel eerder bloedvlekken erin gehad die nog zichtbaar waren. Fijn was dat we de koffers mochten achterlaten voordat we de kamer in konden en ook nadat we hadden uitgechecked, zodat we zonder bagage nog lekker van de stad konden genieten. Kamer zijn wel heel erg klein (althans die van ons) en ander nadeel: geen kaartje om aan de deur te hangen met dat we niet gestoord wilden worden, waardoor de schoonmaakster tot twee keer toe om 09:00 uur de kamer in kwam. Gezien de locatie en goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding raad ik dit hotel wel aan en zou ik er zeker weer slapen. Lees meer

Een prima hotel, dichtbij ondergrondse en zeer centraal gelegen. De kamers zijn klein, maar comfortabel. Goed bed, goede badkamer en heel belangrijk het is schoon. Als je toch de hele dag op pad bent, is het een aanrader.

most terrible service of the reception staff I've ever had: arrogant, totally uninterested and when something went wrong (like a loud alarm went off very early in the morning, in the room!) they couldn't bother to apologize. It's not that nothing can go wrong: it's the way people deal with it, the tone of voice, if someone says sorry, I'm already ok. room […] was very clean but the horrible chemical smell of the hallway made you wonder... during our 3 day stay the lift didn't work, I bet they couldn't bother to phone a mechanic. when I checked out and they asked me if I was satisfied and I said not really and started to explain; they gave me a paper with an email address where I could write to with my complains....typical! they just couldn't be bothered... Vlak bij een metrostation op een niet zo drukke lijn en bijgevolg ben je heel vlug in hartje Londen en er is zelfs meestal plaats om te zitten. We kregen uitgebreid uitleg op onze vragen inzake busverbindingen en openingsuren. Het ontbijt is wat wij als Belgen verwachten, veel en lekker. Het hotel is luxueus en verzorgd. Een aanrader.

The Best Western Cromwell was clean, quiet, comfortable, and very convenient. I have stayed in Knightsbridge a few times & this is my favorite hotel. Great location, clean room.... I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Europe, and this hotel room was SMALL even by European standards. The room was freezing cold when we arrived and didn't actually feel warm until the next morning even though the heater ran all night. We stayed two nights, and we asked for more towels on the second day and were met with […] reluctance, but other than that the staff was very helpful. I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The standard room are v small and there are no baths (I requested one but I think there are v few rooms with baths and this makes sense because of the tiny bathrooms). On this occassion my room was very cold, the heating did not work and even with an extra blanket on the bed I was chilly through the night. The hotel is ideally situated very near a tube station with all the local amenities you could wish for. The hotel room was clean, tidy and very well presented, a pleasure in all respects.

Generally very good hotel, great location. Only disappointment was the advertised Wifi capability in the rooms. I was on the top floor and the signal was so bad could not make a connection. Only place for a really good connection was downstairs in the bar.

The staff greeted us as we arrived. We came early to drop off our luggage to begin our museum tours. The staff checked to see if a room was already available. We were able to check in extremely early. We were excited to already have a room available! The room was very nice, clean, and affordable. The room was very spacious. We have a four year old, […] and the staff prepared his pull-out bed. He also provided additional towels. We love this hotel! We enjoyed our stay at this location. Right next to Gloucester tube station made getting around very convenient! Wifi was weak in the room so required a cable (provided by the front desk). Room service made the bed and changed towels only, which was fine. Really all you need but was frustrating to not get fresh mugs each day. Friendly staff, would stay again!

Fairly shocked to find I'd been assigned a basement room, but kept an open mind. The room never got warm, as there was a continuous damp draft, the carpet had large bumps underneath, which you trip over when walking on the floor, and several light bulbs were burned out. The room featured curtains over a fake window- basically white-spray-painted glass […] installed into a picture frame, to make one 'feel' as if there was a window. Hotel room was small,but clever use of the space made it perfectly ok for one person overnight. Great location near to museums, shops, cafes and bars. Really comfortable and quiet hotel. Ideally situated for our two destinations (the Royal Albert Hall and Natural History Museum), there are also plenty of facilities literally just across the road and around the corner including the Tube, Waitrose, Starbucks and Burger King. Great location, price, and friendly staff. They held our luggage so we could leave for Winter Wonderland, and return to our booked room later. The room was a family room that was very spacious and clean. Two minute walk to the nearest subway! Great price for such a lovely hotel. We will definitely stay there again!!!

I have been to London many times and this was by far THE WORST experience ever. I was initially shown to a room with hair on the sheets, dried blood on a bathroom towel, fingerprints everywhere, and dirty walls. When I complained, I was shown to a new room with little apology; the staff seemed to think I was just being picky. Upon returning the next […] evening, when the outside air was -1 Celsius, I entered my room to find it at 8 degrees! When I reported the problem, I was asked if while I was away, I had left my extra room key in the slot just inside the door. I had not. I was told that someone should have informed me when I checked in to do so in order to have constant heat. When I pointed out that a system which requires a room key for lights (and in this case ALSO heat) in intended to conserve energy, and like most hotels guests take their key with them. I was met with a blank stare. So, at 2:00am, with no maintenance staff on call, I had to wait almost an hour to get the heat back on -- which is why they leave it on all the time. I asked the desk for a an herbal tea to warm me up; I was brought an unwrapped teabag in a bare hand and told to heat some water in my room. This hotel is poorly managed and, as an American, I assure you that it does NOT live up to the standard this U.S. franchise is known for. Excellent friendly staff Great location Affordable With a friend, we stayed in a two twin room. While small, we had ample closet space. Bathroom was adequate size. During the night there was noise from the pipes that would be a problem for someone that is a light sleeper.
