Helpful with late arrival

Location was excellent for our purposes (close to RIT). The front desk staff was NOT helpful (did not confirm reservation preferences or give directions about checkout). The sleep number bed was HORRIBLE!

On the whole we has a nice stay to the Radisson. However we did have issues the first night with noises neighbors. They were very loud, had been drinking and when things start flying and banging walls at 3 in the morning it was time to call the front desk. I got this through expedia mystery airport hotel. The shuttle drivers were awesome but it shouldn't be called an airport hotel as it is 15 minutes away. I arrived at later therefore perhaps the floors were dirty from the day but they wre dirty. The furnace ran all night and very loud. We came to Rochester for the Parent's/Homecoming Weekend at RIT. This hotel is right next to campus and was very convient for seeing our son. The hotel is very nice and the people working there were extremely nice, pleasant and helpful. Our only negative comment was that our room had a heating/cooling unit where the fan never turned off. Part of staying in a hotel is not just a clean room or ease of finding the ice machine, it is like staying at a friend's house where certain things are just expected. My room was clean, it had little natural light but was comfortable. The restaurant is not a fresh-from-scratch type eatery but it was OK. Nothing to write home about except that you miss […] a home cooked meal. I did not use the pool but others did. I did use the shuttle and found scheduling it to be a nightmare. It was all drama - Hotel Desk: No you can't be to the airport at 5AM, our shuttle starts at 5AM. Me: How long does it take to get to the airport. HD: 10 minutes. Me: OK, I'll take the shuttle at 5. They called my room at 4:55 to tell me I would miss the shuttle if I did not hurry. Why not just tell me the shuttle leaves the hotel at 5 and leave it at that? I carried my bags to the lobby and was met by the shuttle driver. I asked if the front desk needed a signature for the hotel extras I purchased. They did not and I was loaded into the shuttle. When I realized I had forgotten my prescription reading glass on the night table I had someone from my office call the hotel. After several searches the glasses are not to be found. So, where did they go? Did the maid service throw them away? No one claims to have seen them. Replacement cost $ 381. I will not recommend this hotel, ever. Yes, I forgot my glasses but they are custom to me and not of value to anyone else. Returning them is the right thing to do. Lees meer

Stayed one night for college fraternity reunion plus arranged dinner for 35. Catering staff was excellent, service was great. All the small details were taken care of. Being next to RIT was reason for stay but it seems to be the best hotel in area. We chose the Radisson for the dinner due to its facilities, menu, service, and price.

Rooms aren't anything special (the sleep number beds are nice though), but the convenience of this hotel is the reason to stay here. They'll pick you up at the airport and drop you off places whenever you need it. My shuttle driver (Georgia) was super friendly and dropped me off at RIT several mornings in a row. Thanks!

The room was nearly "unsleepable" as there were adjustable beds that didn't work anymore. The way it was set was the way that you had it, even with a giant sag in the middle. The pillows were the kind that were almost 10" high and what I term to be neck wrenchers. Hotel staff was great. They were very accomodating and polite. The restaurant /bar had very good food and could be billed to your room. Room service was also available. - Hotel parking lot had easy access in and out, and is close to shopping malls and lots of restaurants. The reception staff had a snobby attitude. When we got to our room, we found out we were next to the electrical room which was really noisy. We would not have minded but when we opened the bathroom, there was a bad odour and the bathtub was not clean. When we went back to the front counter to ask for a different room, we were told there were no rooms […] available. We expressed our disappointment, and then he gave us a different room right away. The second room was not bad but both beds in the room seemed worn out and were not comfortable at all. After finally asleep, we were woken up by a wake-up call that we had not asked for. The room and bathroom were clean. The HVAC was really noisy and made it hard to sleep. The A/C kicked on and off throughout the night waking me up also the temp variance would make me hot and cold under the covers. The 2 elevators in the building were slow and crowded. Good stay (including great breakfast), but had an issue where the reservation said that the beds would be Sleep Number, and in fact they were not. I checked in at 3:00 AM, although I had a none smoking room, my room stunk of cigarettes. The sheets hadn't been changed and the bathroom and shower were gross. Check-in and Check out were quick and painless. The HVAC in the room worked well but was very loud. The room was in nice shape and clean. Pool seems nice although I did not use it. Ample parking available for free.

Hotel was nice and clean, few stains on the bed linen, I did request two beds, but was given a double bed, will make sure next time that two beds are available since the hotel was booked and had to take it. Overall stay was nice for a few days.

Stay was OK. Nothing special to mention. There was problem connecting to internet and also the sleep number bed function was not working. Hotel provided complimentary breakfast (which was not).

The hotel location was best. The only problem was food service. Flyer was broken on Thursday night. A shortage of staff resulted in a delay of breakfast buffet on Saturday morning. Hotel was very nice and a great deal. Room was very clean and the pool was nice and big. I had problems with the wi-fi. It was hit or miss the whole time we were there. I called the front desk a couple of times, but they just kept giving me the tech support number and sounded very annoyed with me. We had to come up to Rochester for a wedding on June 17, 2012. All accommodations, car, air and hotel, were made by Expedia. Absolutely NO problems were encountered. Everything went smoothly. Will most definitely book through Expedia AGAIN!

Very nice Hotel close to interstate . Also close to everything restaurants such as IHOP , Sticky Fingers Barbecue,,olive garden,boulder creek, and just about any other establish restaurant . Beside restaurants there is malls which include Macy's , Sears , JC Penny's . The hotel had a very nice restaurant , the room was nice Microwave, refrigerator , […] and the beds had firmness control. Overall a great place to stay. We stayed 4 days over a weekend. The sleep number beds were very comfortable. The pool was nice. We took the shuttle from the airport. The driver was very pleasant. Overall a great weekend

First I was all excited about trying out a sleep number bed only to find out that it did not work properly. Most hotels I stay in have a complimentary breakfast or at least a cup of coffee. I needed to leave the hotel to buy a cup of coffee, I could of bought one in the restaurant but it just irked me that they did not have any self serve coffee. Found at least nine termites in first floor room. Could have been flying ants. Had to leave but we did get a full refund. If you stay here, do not stay on the first floor. The staff is honest and returned a gold necklace that was left in the room. This is on RIT's campus.

the hotel staff was wonderful in all areas. we had adjoining rooms. saw a few cob webs on ceiling in both rooms. Bathroom was not cleaned very well in either room.

Booked online and when we got there the pool was closed for maintenance, sad. The heating unit in the room runs all the time unless you completely shut it down, then it gets hot or cold in their. No cups in the gym for water and the wet wipes for the machines were dry.

Restaurant menu is not great to begin with; they were 'out' of my first 3 menu choices. I get 1, but 3? The pool was not open, so if you chose to exercise, you had to get a staff person to unlock, but then you couldn't get a drink or go to the bathroom without getting staff again to unlock. pretty inconvenient. Then they have a sign in the lobby #and […] I believe post on their website# that they have a complimentary contenental breakfast. I don't ask for much beyond a cup of coffee and a granola bar. I though the first morning was a fluke, because they were out of everything by 7:00. The second morning I got there early and saw that nothing was set up.
