Rooms were nice. Recently remodeled. Outside was very trashy.

Just the outside of hotel was trashy...they remodeled the inside so they made that part nice but it was scary at first.

There were no towels, toilet paper, a coffee pot but no sugar or creamer. Only used napkin packs. The ac chirped all night. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The rooms were not cleaned daily, and the beds were not made daily. I can't imagine when the room Was last cleaned properly. Saturday night there was a large party in the room next door and on the walkway outside my room. It went on til 5am.

I was overall satisified with my stay, the beds were a little uncomfortable but my daughter and i made due the air conditioning worked real good we were able to sleep pretty comfortably after our long drive from Amarillo, TX.

Bathroom dirty,missing tiles,comforter dirty,front door looked like it was kicked in, light out in front of room , very dark and scary

Upon arriving at the facility, the guest service person was on the phone&was engaged in conversation with what appeared to be family or friends.then the room's shower didn't drain very well.

Beds very uncomfortable and tub would not drain. I told the front desk and said they would make a note of it.

It took three tries to find a room that at least looked like it had been cleaned. The supposedly nonsmoking rooms all smelled strongly of cigarettes and we found cigarette butts in the dresser drawer. Had no problems with this place. The staff was EXTRA friendly, room was clean... NO WEIRD SMELLS which is a plus for me. Very comfortable when walking in. Will definitely stay here again.

Key to the room did not work. Toilet overflowed. Room smelled like urine. Make sure to being a your own sheets!! Pillows were very old. Bed was very hard. TV was fuzzy on every channel.

It was in a convenient area so that i was 5 minutes away from both places I was going while in Tyler, however the air conditioning in the room was not good at all and the room was very warm.

It was not at all in a safe neighborhood. We wanted to go swimming only to be run off by foul mouth kids with no adult supervision . The price was what I asked for but will never stay there again. SOME OF THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE & HELPFUL. THE ONLY COMPLAINT THAT I HAVE IS THAT THE ROOM WAS VERY HOT. THE AIR CONDITIONER DIDNT WORK VERY WELL. I DID EXPRESS MY CONCERNS & I WAS BROUGHT A FAN. BUT IT WAS STILL HOT.

There was no telephone only the card. Most of the lights were out. I had to go to the desk to get towels and toliet tissue. Pillows were like little flat pancakes. Bed was like a pallet on the floor, shower leaked water shot out of the shower from one wall to the other. Got all my clothes wet. I had to borrow clothes to go to the funeral. There was food left in microwave and refrigerator from whoever stayed before I did. The bed was sitting on some kind of wooden box. Overall the room was not clean...

The only saving grace for this hotel is the location. Sheets were dirty and had not been changed. Paint was peeling from bathroom floor and bath tub. Curtains were torn. Mattress was creaky and uncomfortable. Certain items such as microwave and Iron which are supposed to be standard were not provided. THE ROOM/HOTEL/NEIGHBORHOOD WERE DISGUSTING. I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW PEOPLE RATED THIS HOTEL 5*. MY CARD KEY STOPPED WORKING EVERY TIME I WENT OUT OF THE ROOM. It was clean. The staff was very friendly and checked us in very quickly without any hassle. The room was somewhat stale and did not get cold quickly. Also there was no breakfast available as the kitchen was being renovated. However it was located next to a Denny's. Would stay there again for the price.

This is a rennovated Howard Johnson..Nice lobby area. NO breakfast treats, but in-room coffee, fridge, and microwave. Nice for the price. Wifi useful.

This was THE WORST motel I have ever stayed in. The air conditioner was NOT on when I got into my room. This is Texas in JUNE!!! It took 4 hours for the room to cool down. Flat screen in the lobby but tube tv in the room(s)? No ice bucket. No hand tiles. No bath mat or rug. I had to pull the bed out to get to a power outlet. No mattress pad on either […] bed so I took the top sheet off of the queen sized bed (which was stuffed into the room that had a king sized bed) to have 2 sheets under my body and a top sheet between the raggedy polyester comforter that had cigarette burns in it. The best thing about this hotel was the renovated lobby. The room was somewhat clean, but it had a odor and the carpet felt sticky. The sign in the lobby stated it had been newly renovated but it looked to me like it was just a cover up job. The bathroom floor was painted (over glossy tile) and it looked as if that was coming up. The caulking and paint […] jobs were horrible, like it was just thrown together quickly; at least the tub looked brand new. The air conditioner smelled and the mattresses were extremely hard, as well as the pillows were flat.
