Als etappehotel zeker aan te bevelen, rustig gelegen, wel opgelet, geen avondmaaltijd in het hotel te krijgen, wel in de buurt maar dan wel prijzig, verder naar het dorp gaan voor avondmaaltijd, ontbijt is aan te bevelen.

Wij waren verrast over de mooie zeer ruime kamer, goed onderhouden en schoon voor een zeer redelijke prijs. Wij hadden kamer nr. 1 met een prachtige badkamer

Was er eerder geweest; was dus bevallen anders was ik nu niet teruggegaan. De 2 kamers boven zijn krap, mede door het schuine dak; ruime douche. Een TV op de kamer ontbreekt helaas. Ontbijt in de tuin > een heerlijke locatie. Gastvrouw allervriendelijkst en behulpzaam.

Gezellig en comfortabel hotel, op loopafstand strand en centrum. Prima verblijf en goede uitvalsbasis voor uitjes.

Prima hotel, perfect gelegen in hartje Caen, aan Place Courtonne, temidden van restaurants, winkels vlakbij, zondags markt op het grote plein. Ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Kamer, klein maar fijn; kraakhelder, prima bedden, prima sanitair. In het aanpandige restaurant kan men ontbijt, lunch en diner gebruiken, maar daarvan hebben wij slechts één keer gebruik gemaakt (toen was het prima). Als je gewoon een goed logement zoekt: zeker doen!
Ligging.
Novotel Caen Cote De Nacre bevindt zich in Caen, dicht bij Université de Caen, Château de Caen en Gedenkteken van Caen. In de buurt liggen ook Église de la Sainte-Trinité en Abbaye aux Hommes.

"prima hotel als uitvalsbasis om Normandië te verkennen"
Hotel prima te vinden alhoewel voor de TomTom beter "Rue de la Delivrande 155" ingegeven kan worden dan "Av de La Cote De Nacre Nacre". Ontbijt prima (zou tot 10.30 uur moeten zijn ipv 09.30 uur van Ma tot Zat. Diner kaart zou af en toe iets meer keus moeten bevatten. De kamer was goed. This hotel was perfect for us as we were just passing thru and it was easy to get back on the motorway. The room was small for 4 people but the beds were comfortable. Not a very busy hotel. The kids were happy with free wifi and an xbox in the foyer. We also had a nice meal in their restaurant b

A very pleasent stay in a hotel that is clean, well situated for the ferry terminal at Ouistreham, and has very friendly efficient staff. Our room was for 3, so had a large bed and a very comfy sofa bed. also has a bathroom with a seperate toilet. This is the second time we have stayed here and the experience has been wholly positive both times. There […] is a Tram stop 200 metres up the road which gives access to the picturesque town, so though it is on the outskirts of town you are only 10 minutes away from the centre. "Really good mid-price hotel for stopovers"
This is a nice, clean and well run hotel. The rooms were a good size, and clean. Breakfast was a very good buffet, and if you book on an early bird deal, the price is excellent. The hotel is a great stopover, just off the boulevard peripherique (so excellent for stopping on route to Brittany or further south) and is very well located for the city centre […] (5 min walk to tram stop and then 5 min on tram to the centre of Caen). We stayed for one night on our way back from the south. I thought this was a super hotel for the price. Excellent hotel about 10 minutes from downtown and five minutes from the Normandy Museum. Clean and hospitable. Excellent restaurant. I would definately use this hotal again.

The Novotel Caen de Nacre is a very nice hotel. It is not near the city center but closer to the university of Caen. It is only a few minutes walk to a tram stop that will take you back to the city center. It runs every 10 or 15 minutes. "Easy to find, close drive to sights"
Although I wasn't impressed when we arrived, this hotel was wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff who appear to enjoy working there. Easy to drive to Normandy beaches and Le Mont San Michele.
Very satisfied with the hotel. Breakfast was cold but we could have requested new but we were in a hurry.

"Adequate Novotel Hotel but Poor Internet service"
Overall the hotel was OK for a Novotel, which from my experience are usually a bit better than the Caen Novotel. White the room was reasonable overall, it had a big fold out sofa, and that put the double bed very close to the wall making it tight for the second person next to the wall to access the bed. The best thing was the reception area. The worst […] thing was the very poor Internet service provider (Orange) which needed a new login and password every day, and kept disconnecting after a short time of inactivity. It also charged / minute for making calls over the Internet!! Which is very poor Internet service for a Hotel of the Novatel's standard. "Not what we thought"
We took a tram from the railroad station and got off at thecorrect station. We walked to rue de deliverand where in instructions said we should see the hotel 50 meters from there. Unfortunately, the signage was virtually non existant, so we walked the wrong way. After walking around for about 1.2 hour we stopped at a grille and found out where to go. […] We then walked to the hotel. You had to go around the block becuse there was no cut through that we could find to hotel. We entered through the car parking area. We checked in and went to our room, which was fine. The next day we left to see the area and it was a very day. When we returned we went to our room which was very warm. The curtains were closed and the a/c could not be adjusted. We called down to the desk and were told that the a/.c was working and they would send up a fan, which they did. WE never felt any air moving from the vents and called down again. They assured us the a/c was on. It may have been on but in our room it wasn't working. When we checked out the next morning, we told the clerk about the problem with the a/c. She apologized and offered us bottled water as compensation. Sorry, I don't feel that was enough. We spent a very miserable night at your hotel. I understand that the hotel was full and that you weren't able to move us to another room but at the very least when we called the second time someone should have come up to check to make sure the a/c was working. I feel that the hotel did not live up to the corporate policy that they have made available as to the fact of not being happy with your room. In our recent trip to France and Belgium, we stayed with four different hotel chains and yours is on the bottom of our list. I would reccomend any of the others above yours. Lees meer

Hôtel parfait, calme. Le personnel est vraiment sympa et disponible. La nourriture est excellente, les enfants ont également apprécié. Seule petite remarque : la place dans la chambre pour 4 est vraiment limitée mais vu que ce n'était que pour une nuit, cela n'a pas porté à conséquence.

Everything is very good, there is a swimming pool in this hotel, 10 min to the historicak center.

"Bon sejour ..."
Hotel accueillant avec zone de jeux pour les enfants. La piscine est petite et a l'ombre ... une partie des chambres du rez de chaussés sont sombre (la ou nous etions). Elles donnent sur un parking avec un immeuble derriere En dehors de ces quelques points, tout est satisfaisant..
"Fint mellemklasse hotel med plads til 2+2"
Ligger tæt på omfartsvejen ved Caen og tæt på centrum. Da der ikke er Air-Condition kan det være nødvendigt med åbne vinduer om natten, hvilket indebærer en del støj. Ellers et fint hotel, som vi gerne benytter igen.

"Godt utgangspunkt for Normandieferie"
Ganske nytt og moderne hotell, med små men helt greie rom for en familie som benytter hotellet primært for å sove. God parkeringsplass ved hotellet. Grei lokasjon i forhold til Caen (20 min til fots) og lett adkost til motorvei og småveier som fører til alle de historiske minnesmerkene. Noe støy fra ringveien.
Chambre pour 4. Malheureusement pour 2 personnes elles ont du dormir sur un convertible. Ce que je trouve regrettable pour le prix de la chambre.

N'étant restés qu'une nuit, je n'ai pas vraiment eu l'occasion de tester la qualité du service mais l'accueil a été très agréable, le personnel souriant et aimable. Malgré la présence du tram à proximité, aucun bruit n'est venu nous gêner de toute la nuit. La chambre était propre, choix entre douche ou bain proposé à l'arrivée, chambre spacieuse, grand […] lit très confortable. Je dirais que le seul défaut serait la télévision, écran traditionnel (pas lcd) et seulement une 15aine de chaines, qualité d'image médiocre, mais sincèrement nous n'étions pas venus pour regarder la télé, donc ce n'était pas un problème. Le seul problème le réveil par la télé, programmé pour 7h00, elle s'est mise en route 25 minutes avant. J'y retournerai sans problème Lees meer
