Er werd overal hard gewerkt om het een nieuwe look te geven. De manager Greg hield alles in de gaten en zorgde goed voor zijn gasten. Ook voor ons! We wensen ze veel succes!

There is more than enough space for the bar fridge because the rooms are really spacious. I have no complaints about the hotel itself The rooms are very clean and spacious and all have a private balcony and overlooking the docks We were in the building right. there you have a nice view on the docks and you are away from the noise. If you want a breakfast this is the wrong location The breakfast you can not call it a breakfast: coffee, muffins and Danonne. And even then there is a tip jar in the breakfast area. The sports bar in the hotel and their meals are good. The hotel staff is very helpful they even gave us a box for our drinks to cool them with ice. Overall a perfect place to stay. But, book a fridge and then you can also organize your own breakfast.

We often stay at Double Tree Suites when available based upon previous good results. Was not dissapointed! Some reviews almost caused us to not book this Hotel. Glad we did not listen, Location, Staff, Cleanliness, and Room was all very very nice. Grounds were clean, pool was fine. The actual hotel was fine, good for the price, nice location, and gotta love the cookies. But the restaurant, which I had to eat 2 dinners at for time crunch, served absolutely terrible food. I was in Tampa due to my graduate from the Ultimate Medical Academy, and everyone was professional and friendly. Some of the staff we became acquainted with on a personal level,the shuttle driver (Manny) was very helpful, advisable,knowledgeable, polite and friendly . Also, all of the front desk staff was professional, and your cookies were delicious. […] There was one young man (Anthony} who definitely enjoys his position. I just want to let you know you have an asset in this young man, and you need more people like him. He shows he has much knowledge of the business and is eager to learn more. I was promised a bayview room and paid an upcharge for this. I was given a view that was nice, but was not of the bay. I was given a poor line by the check-in desk. The hotel was attractive inside, but I will not stay there again because I feel that they didn't honor the request that I paid for. If I was offered a refund for the extra fee, that would […] have been one thing, but they tried to tell me that I got a "water"view, but was not the bay. I got to look out over the pool which did not include any bodies that should have been displayed at a pool, the roof top of part of the hotel and a view of a nice strip of water. Hotel is hard to get to with all the nearby expressway exits. Need to have carts available for luggage transportation from car to room. Heated pool would be nice since it was actually cold out in March. Wish this hotel had a balcony and beach but the size of the rooms was great. Had a King suite for the weekend. It was very spacious, quiet and cozy. Bed was a little stiff, but if you like a firm mattress then your are set. I was there for the arctic cold front, so when I woke Sunday morning, the bay had a lot of ice. Best part was, dolphins swimming in the bay right by the dock in the front of the hotel! The location was okay. […] Kind of in the middle of where I needed to be and where I wanted to go. After all, you're there for the attractions and the beach, ot the hotel alone. Doubletree worked out OK for lady friend and myself but it would have been nice if there was some type of food service (kiosk?) other than the hotel restaurant. It cost TOO MUCH for the breakfast buffet which was average at best; far too expensive. The hotel had a business center with 6 computers which helps. Very close to the airport if flying into/out […] of Tampa (we were not). The traffic in the downtown Tampa was very bad which surprised me. I can only imagine what L.A. is like! "No More Hilton"
Cleaning staff did not clean room unless we went to the front desk and ask for it. Had to go to the desk for coffee packages, toilet paper, and tissues. Twice we had to return to desk because our keys would not open door. We had an emergency and needed to stay one extra day and they charged twice what we had paid through expedia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy, but there was a $200 hold placed on my debit card even though my room was paid in full prior to arrival. I was not told of this hold at check in, only advised that my cars was being taken for incidentals. Being Christmas time, this was a great inconvenience. The room was clean and […] spacious but in need of an upgrade. There was a constant odor that I could not identify in the room and the ac unit is LOUD!
