we konden pas laat inchecken, maar het hotel is goed en ligt super centraal. de kamer was prima, en zijn een paar leuke restaurantjes in de buurt, en het is vlak bij de metro/trein.

Really nice hotel! Near Union Square and across a really big shopping mall with a really nice food court! Next to a BART station en the train to Fishermans Wharf. Although the neighbourhood behind the hotel was a bit dodgy, this was a really nice stay!

Uitstekend hotel, te gebruiken als uitvalsbasis om de stad te verkennen. Zeker als winkelen ook tot Uw favoriete bezigheid behoort. Verder vooral rekening houden met de "stadse" omgeving dus veel bedrijvigheid en drukte op straat in al zijn wereldse vormen.

Parc 55 ligt op steenworpafstand van Market Street en van het Visitor Information Center. Een drie-dagen-kaart voor nagenoeg al het OV in SF gekocht a $ 20,=. De ideale manier van je verplaatsen door SF. De beginhalte van de beroemde kabeltram is ongeveer 150 meter van het hotel verwijderd en ook hiervoor is de OV pas van toepassing. Verder in Market […] Street haltes voor bus, trolleybus en tram en een BART verbinding naar het vliegveld (niet met OV pas maar kost een fractie van een taxi. Het hotel is prima, van alle gemakken voorzien en een nagenoeg geluidloze aircoinstallatie op de kamers. Het enige wat wij misten op de kamer: een koelkastje maar verder is alles aanwezig. Advies: als SF je eindbestemming is, lever je huurauto dan direct bij aankomst in, het scheelt al snel ongeveer $ 50,- parkeergeld per dag en je gebruikt de auto toch niet (als je de OV kaart hebt. Er is ook een OV kaart voor 1 dag verkrijgbaar. Boek eventueel shuttle naar vliegveld met behulp van een coupon uit de City Guide van het Visitor Center, een stuk goedkoper dan een reservering van een taxi door het hotel. Lees meer

There are much better places to stay nearby that are same price or less. Plus $49 parking is quite high. For what you get for the money - this place needs updating.

The room I stayed in was nice, large and the bed comfortable (the pillows not so much.) The place is in need of a renovation here and there. The biggest problem I had was the expensive wifi that ran slower than my cell phone's hot spot. If you need reliable Internet access during your stay avoid this hotel. The hotel has been maintained very well. You can tell that it's an older hotel with nice updates. The bed is lovely. It's right at the Powell Muni station so we could go anywhere and get back easily. Loved that. Went to a SF Giants game and back with ease, then to Union Square and then down to the Wharf. Who needs a car and to worry about driving/parking? […] Definitely would stay again. Room was great and very comfortable. Parking wasEXTREMELY expensive at $50 per day. Service in the restaurant was bad, took away from the nice time we had.

I recommend using their website to book a room. Sometimes their deals are better and will include breakfast, parking or a perk; I also hear that you get a better located room.

This hotel is for business people, at least for the lower floor. Room seems clean, but the carpet is quite moist and the size is rather small for the price.

we upgraded to a corner room with views. however the bed was a queen and it was pretty uncomfortable. you could totally feel the other person move in the bed.

Overall it was exactly as I expected. Not super nice when compared to a stylish boutique hotel, but clean and simple. Main thing I didn't like, and it's a small thing, was that the outlets in the bathroom were brown and disgusting. Either they have never been cleaned, or someone had a weird explosive accident and they forgot to clean the outlets.

Overall, this hotel was really nice, especially for the price. Great area and beautifully renovated main areas of the hotel. The rooms themselves were not quite as nice as the main areas, but still nice. Only other complaint is the the beds and pillows were very hard.

When I first arrived, I was informed that my room was not ready. This was at 9 p.m. Not a great way to start a hotel experience. Staff room hotel was great! Walking distance from Market St Trolly shops and food places. Only bad thing was a lot of homeless people and a bit shady late at night. Other than that I would and will stay again

I don't understand how this place could get an above 4 star rating. It's just another mediocre hotel from around the late 70's or early 80's that has never been renovated except to add some shiny plastic finishes on a few walls. Totally outdated style. Didn't like that we had to pay 49 dollars a day parking . Lots of traffic to get there..had to wait in a long line to check in.
