Prettig hotel, hoewel zeer gehorig. De parkeermogelijkheid bij het hotel is super!

Afgelopen weekeind naar Parijs geweest. Via expedia het hotel geboekt. Altijd maar afwachten waarin je terecht komt. Echter deze keer viel het ons 100% mee, we kwamen in een mooi klein hotel terecht, netjes en schoon. De receptionist die ons ontving was erg vriendelijk en sprak redelijk Engels. Hij was ook behulpzaam met het boeken van trips en het […] regelen van kaartjes voor de Eiffeltoren. De lift in het hotel was recent, en niet zo'n lift waar je liever de trap neemt. Op de kamer aangekomen zagen we een nette kamer, voorzien van een twee persoons bed, die voor mij iets te kort was (ben 1.97 meter lang) maar gelukkig geen voetplaat, zodat ik toch nog fatsoenlijk kon slapen. Verder had de kamer een LCD tv, met diverse Franse, Italiaanse zenders en 4 engelstalige nieuwszenders. maar ach, ze zit niet in parijs om tv te kijken toch? Internet was gratis in het hotel, en functioneerde goed. we hebben 2 keer ontbijt op de kamer genomen, dit was voor een meerprijs simpel te regelen. Ontbijt was uitstekend. Locatie: ongeveer 5 minuten lopen naar de Eiffeltoren, diverse restaurants in de omgeving. Busstop voor zowel stadsbussen als tourbussen op 2 minuten lopen van het hotel. Al met al was het voor ons een weekeind genieten. en mochten we weer terug gaan naar Parijs, dan is de kans groot dat we dit hotel weer zullen boeken. Lees meer

The hotel is near Boissière metro stop and within walking distance (10+ minutes) of Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile. The room was comfortable (although not very big, considering I chose a "superior" room). The hotel bar was very small and always looked empty and unstaffed. Only a short trip before continuing onto Switzerladn however the staff was friendly (and spoke English), the room was comfortable and the location was ideal. I'll stay here when I come back this summer for a week.

Hotel was in a great location, very close to Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triumph. Nice, clean and friendly service. Found the room to be very stuffy but that was a minor issue. Would return again!

Good location. Only 15-20 minutes from gard de nord via metro system which is easy to navigate.. 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower and arc de triomphe. Reception staff were helpful. My wife and I stayed here once before (in 2009) and really liked this hotel. We had a large room overlooking the rear courtyard, a lush garden space ... very peaceful and quiet. This time (Dec. 2012) our room was a bit smaller and overlooked the front courtyard, but again tranquil and very pleasant. The location is fantastic ... just off Avenue Kléber, […] which runs from the Arc de Triomphe to the Trocodero. Excellent Metro access on the #6 line (nearest stop: Boissière) and very easy to walk to the Champs-Éllysées or cross the Seine into the 7th. The hotel has a good, if typically overpriced, buffet breakfast ... this caters more to the business crowd. You're better off just popping over to one of many nearby cafes. We stayed at garden elysses for a week. We loved the hotel. The location was perfect, only a couple of blocks from the metro, close to the eiffel tower and the seine river. There is a grocery store two doors away. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We were delighted with everything and thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay. We appreciated also that there were several places nearby which offered breakfast and a handy grocery store next door which also carried a good selection of wines.

The room and the bathrom were very clean and reasonably spacious. Courtesy and helpfulness of the hotel staff was very good. They always had a smile while answering any questions. We had a 2 year old traveling with us. The hotel staff even provided a very clean baby crib for her to sleep. There is a small fridge in the room that was very useful. One […] could use the microwave any urgent items downstairs. The location of the hotel cannot be beat. Right next to a metro and walking distance away from Champs Elysees and Eiffel tower. A great location in the sixteenth close to the underground and Eifel Tower. Attractive reception area but parking very limited. If you ask for a double bed you may get two singles pushed together which isn't really a double!

Having read many reviews about hotel rooms in Paris being small, we were pleasantly surprised to find our room was very spacious. It was a junior suite as we were travelling with our 16 year old son (who, along with my husband is over 6 foot tall!) We had clean towels and bedding every day. It was very quiet, being set back from the road, with the bonus […] of a supermarket a few doors away (bit like a Tesco Express-good quality!) Lots of good places to eat locally as well. Very disappointed, the hotel did not match up to its pictures and descriptions. The rooms are small claustrophobic, dark and depressing, with no garden view, just a small courtyard and some trees and walls that bring no sunshine into the rooms. dirty old furniture. Because all the rooms were so dark, we ended up in a loft conversion room which had […] no views all together. doors creaked, light coming through the blinds at night, we had to wait for a long time for the hot water to come through the taps, toilet uncomfortable to sit on because of the tight space, bed very uncomfortable. Great hotel in a central location to explore Paris. We were in the city to see the final stage of the tour de France. 10 min walk to the Champs Elyseee we were over the moon to be so close. Staff in the hotel friendly and very helpfull. Metro station was 5 minute walk away.

Clean, comfortable room with king size bed, side table, TV and modern in-suite bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of our room compared to the size of our room at an equally priced hotel in London. The Hotel Garden Elysee was a very pleasant experience! We arrived early (before 11 AM) and the front desk expedited a room for us, which was very thoughtful and kind. The two gentlemen who were usually at the front desk during the day were always very professional, helpful, and courteous (giving us directions, making calls for our return shuttle service, […] etc.) and the maid service very efficient and friendly. Our room was always spotless each day upon our return from sightseeing. The hotel is in a great location (less than 2 blocks from 2 different metro lines) and an easy stroll to either Eiffel or Arch. There are also many dining options and choices close by. (The hotel's breakfast was very pricey and frankly not many guests used it, but would be convenient if money was not a concern). There was also a supermarket on the same street to purchase water, wine, and snacks at very reasonable prices. The room itself was fairly spacious by European standards and the bathroom very modern. The location of the hotel was not bad , just 4 minutes of walk to the Metro station Boissiere. The room was clean. But we had a bad experience there, the water was out for one day!!! can u imagine a 4 stars hotel with no water at all ?? but the staff was kind enough to provide us breakfast for free for the rest of our stay.

The hotel was charming, clean and located in a great place between the Eiffel Tower and Arch de Triomphe. Excellent location to catch the metro, walk to the Champs Elyesse. The only negative to our experience was the noise factor. You could hear other guests as through they were in the hall outside your door, when in fact, they were in their rooms.

I must start this review by saying that I'm not entirely sure how the star rating system works as a four star hotel in Paris doesn’t seem to be the same quality or standard I would expect to see in the UK. Could do with updating as a little drab, no tea and coffee making facilities. No shower screen so after a shower the already slippery polished floor […] turns into an ice rink and getting out of the shower looks like an audience for strictly come ice dancing. Fantastic Hotel, quiet location just off Kleber Avenue, which leads to all the major attractions. Cleanliness was fantastic. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful during our stay. I cannot fault the hotel at all. I would stay there again, if I went to Paris again.

Lovely hotel in such a convenient location! The staff were extremely friendly and answered any questions we had, they even looked after our luggage on our last day after we had checked out so that we could enjoy a final day in Paris before a late Eurostar home. It's perfect having a small supermarket just down the road and being close to metro stations […] means that any travelling is no hassle at all. This is a boutique-style hotel in a lovely part of Paris. The modern interior is beautifully done and the rooms are a good size and very clean. The hotel is close to both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. There are many cafes and shops in the area, as well as a nearby metro station. I would highly recommend this hotel. .

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean and the housekeeping service did a great job. The outlook over the garden courtyard was peaceful and the location is in a very safe part of Paris and close to a couple of Metro stations. The hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The only downside was that the walls were […] quite thin, so at night we could hear neighbours talking/exercising quite loudly upon their arrival late evening/early morning. Though this was only on the Saturday night, so perhaps when it is not fully booked they space out the guests as not to encounter this issue. We needed two rooms for my husband and I and our four children. The hotel made sure we were at the en of a hall... rooms right across from each other. My major issue with this hotel was the description of the room. I booked and paid in advance for a "junior suite". Typically this description means a separate bedroom area and a separate living room space. My "junior suite" was just a nice size typical hotel room. It could have been a holiday inn. When I inquired at the front desk, the manager at the […] front desk agreed with me that the room really shouldn't be called a junior suite. In any case, I wouldn't have chosen to pay more for what was really a nice size ordinary room. Location wasn't bad as walking distance to a great view in back of the Eiffel tower but there are many better hotels to choose I'm better locations for this price point.
