one of the best hotel I aver stay great staff clean great location but food not so great in room service but all staff vhere so nice and clean rooms

Nice room, outdated fixtures, no dvd player, charge you for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING extra, front desk staff seemed irritated to be dealing with you, won't stay here next time in Tahoe.

The beds were lumpy and not firm, pillows were flat and not fluffy, the TV is not flatscreen and picture is dark, unable to adjust brightness and picture on TV screen, no mini fridge to keep things cool, no microwave to warm food up, overall the hotel stay was below average. I would suggest the executive room with a great view of the mt and Lake Tahoe. Also, these rooms are newer. Loved the room size and two bathrooms. Disliked the smoke in common areas by casino. Service was great, but room was not what I paid for. Paid for premium king room got a standard king instead. Hopefully our next stay will be there, if we get the room we book is guaranteed.

Very nice place to stay, the rooms were nicely done and were comfortable. Also got a good price on the room at the last minute.

Ugly building in the middle of a magnificent landscape: a skyscraper of metal and glass, awful smell of cigarette and smoke ALL over the place, as soon as you enter the lobby. Great location near Gondola. The hotel itself wasn't great. The beds were very uncomfortable. Also, there were not any good dining options--all very expensive and mediocre food. Room was clean.. Had to pay for coffee in the room. No tv guide, hard to figure out what was free and what programs you had to pay for.

The hotel was fine if you are a entertained by 100% pure gambling. The location is directly on the CA and NV borderline. Literally. The facility was a typical casino setup, but small in comparison to the big games on the boat in moat scenario or the Las Vegas strip. It is good for a one or two night stopover. The slumping economy has affected the level of services that used to be free. Now, there are small charges for things that used to be complimentary. For example, coffee for the coffee brewer will cost you $6 now. And you have to leave your room to buy it. The first night at Harrah's was horrible - really loud party above us till around 6am, and the sink in one of the two bathrooms kept gurggling all night - loud enough to wake both of us up several times. In the morning, we requested a new room, went skiing, and when we came back our new room was waiting for us. This hotel is not good for family member with kids. This hotel do not have microwave do not have hair dryer they do not have any room service. When we ask them for warm milk room service say'd they cannot warm the milk because health department won't let them funny hah When I work for health I strongly recommend to anyone

Have stayed here several times and have enjoyed my stay each time. I love the two bathrooms in each room. Staff was very nice.

I still love Harrahs but its lost its classiness that it had in the 70s and 80s. just has a different feeling.I know the economy and indian cainos have hurt tahoe. I just miss the excitement that the cainos always had! Also miss the the little TV in the bathrooms!!! Staying at Harrah was always a treat and I still love the indoor pool but even the pool […] area is missing somthing. We enjoyed our room at Monte Bleu much more. I'm surprised that Harrahs was so well reviewed because the jacuzzi tubs at Monte Bleu and the pool were far superior. The Harrahs pool is a joke. It fits about 15 people and even that is too many. View from room wasn't better than Monte Bleu and the beds were a bit hard. Go to Monte Bleu. It's cheaper […] and a bit more luxurious. Lees meer

This hotel is one of my favorites! Big rooms, 2 bathrooms - beautiful view of the lake from the rooms. Buffet dinner is delicious. Breakfast restaurant could improve, but the rest of the hotel makes up for it. Love staying there - staff very friendly too.

The hotel is conveniently located a couple blocks away from the Heavenly Valley gondola. The guest room had two bathrooms, which is a big plus for a family with kids. A big minus was that the beds were not at all firm and were very uncomfortable. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find out that valet service was free and without even asking received a free upgrade in room. There is a starbucks in the lobby and its a very convenient location. I was loving the hotel until we got back to the room around 6pm and there was no maid service. harrah's was a great place to stay in Tahoe. The price was right, the rooms were roomy, clean, beautiful... and loved the two bathrooms! the only negs I can say was that you can hear through the walls, and I believe room coffee should be complimentary. You would think a hotel in lake Tahoe would have a great heater but that was not the case! We called maintenance twice and they determined that our heater was working properly ( thermostat set to 90 x 6 hours and temp in room never got above 70, it was 12 degrees f outside). So they provided extra blankets for us. We might as well just have left the […] room because we couldnt sleep a wink with all the noise of the hallway, surrounding rooms (you can hear toliets flushing from next door), we even could hear people having sex above us. I went to the concierge to ask what could I do today, around the lake, to sightseeing and have nice meals. She Said: Well, there's nothing much to do around here today. All and every other person that I asked for tips were more helpful than that lady.

Great hotel and location for skiing and gambling. Front desk staff was less than helpful when guiding us on ski rental and area restaurants.

Our visit and stay was overall excellant. I was surprized however that a coffee maker was supplied in the room and yet you had to pay for coffee! quite unusual as compared to most hotels these days. I also think that a price list should have been included for the bar frigerator amenities.
