Good hotel. Good price for stay with a free breakfast (which is decent). My only issue is I booked online for a family of 5 and got a room with 2 queen size beds and no option of bigger rooms. We had reservations for one king size bed. The room was OK, but it was 39* out side and when we entered the room it was zero in the room. We turned the heat on but just blowed cold air. called front desk and advised, they sent maintence and he changed batteries. We waited 15 minites before it stoped blowing cold air and has heat. Our stay at the Hampton Inn was great! We booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us with an amazing price. The people who worked there were exceptional, they assisted us with different places to go and sites to see. The entire staff was extremely nice and helpful. We researched others comments, before we stayed, in this hotel. Was worth the money, as long as you dont pay more then 100.00.. great morning breakfast, staff friendly. something they dont volunteer info. is the Holiday Express behind this hotel, is also available, with outdoor and indoor pool, laundry facility, jacuzzi. thats a nice perk.

This hotel is just okay if you have absolutely nowhere else to stay. The rooms have very small windows which make the room look even more dark. There was hair on the bathroom ceiling and I would not dare walk on the carpet with my bare feet. Go next door to Holiday Inn.

The hotel was nice, clean, and the staff were very courteous and helpful. However, there needs to be more help in the mornings with the free breakfast. Food was running out quickly and so was the coffee. I noticed only one person handling this task and there should be at least two. The hotel is neat and clean. Staff is friendly. It as at convenient location from the beach.

We loved the hotel room, everything was chic and modern. The neighborhood was okay, it looked like a commercial area but it had some restaurants around that you can go to. I like the fact that it was 15 mins to/from the beach and also 10 mins to the mall. The people at the front desk were very nice. We chose the hotel as we prefer to stay at the Hilton hotel chain, and the room rate for this hotel was much lower than those which were located on the beach. As we had a car, the drive was only 15 minutes to get to Atlantic Avenue. They did not have any double Queen rooms, so we booked a double "double" room. It was pretty tight space for us, but […] it was clean and the front desk staff was helpful. The beds were comfortable and they launder the comforter cover for each guest (which is very nice). The breakfast was included with the room rate and they had fresh fruit, bagels, coffee, juices, two waffle makers, hot eggs and meat (sausage, typically) and there was plenty of food, although the hotel was very full. They also have an agreement with another hotel in the area where you can wash and dry your clothes if you need to, which is helpful - especially with wet, sandy towels and swimsuits. On the downside, the location isn't great, as there isn't really anything close to it other than commercial buildings and there are pawn shops within blocks of the hotel. There is a small outdoor pool - although the max depth is 5'. Parking is free and plentiful. Although the room was very small, they kept the facilities clean and they were helpful with requests (we needed a crib - and did not get charged extra for the request). This was a wonderful experience - reasonably priced, lovely room, best 'continental breakfast' we have ever experienced! My only suggestion would be one more wastebaskets - we travel with 2 teenagers, and between soda cans, etc. and the plates, cups etc. from breakfast, 1 tiny wastebasket was not enough - we ended up leaving trash on the desk, which […] I never want them to think is okay! My girlfriends and I went down for a concert and this hotel was great. We were only a few miles to the Farm Bureau Live and about a 20 min drive to the beach (without traffic.) Hotel was clean, front desk was extremely friendly, bathroom was clean, and the rooms were completed updated! Definitely will stay here again next time we go down!

Hotel has great breakfast, waffles, eggs, sausage etc... Hotel decor is nice and clean. the fitness facility is nice, although not much equipment, however the equipment was up to date. the only issue would be the beds for my comfort was too soft. the staff were nice. Overall a nice hotel for the money you pay.

This hotel provided all that we needed for our overnight stay for a wedding at the beach. It was much cheaper than hotels closer to the beach but still in a convenient location just off of I-264. The hotel was clean and the staff was very polite and helpfull. During my stay, I had an issue with my WI-FI connection because the authentification procedure had been changed by AT&T . Rates were decent. Hotel didnt look all that great outside but lobby,elevators and room were pretty upscale...complimentary breakfast was good and location was good too! Housekeeping didnt re-make up our beds the 2nd morning though but other than that it was a very nice stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others :)

We have stayed at this hotel before on our family vacations to Virginia Beach. It is far enough from the beach to get a reasonable rate but not too far to commute daily. The staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful and hotel is well maintained and clean. The complimentary breakfast is convienent, tastey and always well stocked. ...other then not being able to sleep in due to loud and obnoxious cleaning staff at 7 am every morning, I would recommend this to hotel to friends and family . This hotel was very comfortable, clean and had all the amenities we desired. The room was up to date, had a fridge and microwave and the bed was comfortable. An ample delicious breakfast was in the lobby every morning with complimentary newspaper. We would recommend that the hotel offer a shuttle to the beach as it was an issue for us to find and pay […] a large sum for parking at the beach and the hotel is not within walking distance. Hotel was a good choice, about 10 mins from the actual beach but me and my family were satisfied. It would have been 100% perfect if there was an indoor pool, but it wasn't. Great hotel though!

I read lots of reviews of other hotels before settling on this one, the reviews of happy customers made it easy to decide and they did not dissapoint. All the staff was super friendly, they welcomed us back every time we came back from seing the sights or going out to dinner. The staff that handled the breafast buffet were great and super friendly, […] they aimed to please. Plenty of good coffee or tea could be had throughout the day. I kinda felt like the entire staff made an extra effort to know our faces so they could make sure to greet us and make us feel welcomed. Housekeeping also rocked! They aimed to make our stay comfortable. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give this Hampton Inn a 5. Lees meer

The hotel was within walking distance of 264. Great accessibility to the highway so it was easy to get around the city. The gentleman assisting with the morning breakfast was helpful and kind. This hotel had great customer service and the room was more than adequate.

Everything was very good. The breakfast was wonderful. This was the only hotel in the area with a reasonable price that had greats rooms and included breakfast. Will come back again. Thank you.

Provided breakfast and newspaper were great to have. The breakfast was not just a pop tart but real food with many selctions. Coffee available 24 hours a day with all the condiments. Outstanding service for travelers.

The Hampton Inn was a great hotel to stay, as well as the price. I will recommend this hotel to any one who,s looking to stay not that far from the beach area, and a quiet surrounding. The breakfast,(not a continental breakfast either), was the best, I thought I was at a breakfast bar, not a hotel brkfst bar, it was the best, great service, very clean, […] and the workers were great! The manager who was in charge of breakfast on Saturday did a great job. He asked several times if we had everything we needed. They served scrambled eggs with ham mixed in, which we couldn't eat, but he had a special plate made up with just the eggs. Everything else was fresh and delicious. Love those waffle makers.

This Hampton Inn gets it right. The decor is wonderful. The most comfortable beds with clean soft sheets and a wonderful comforter with clean duvet cover instead of the usual thin blankets made the sleep extra wonderful. Except for the small size of the room, I only have wonderful things to say about this place. I still remember it even though we stayed […] for one night. The rooms were clean and comfy and the breakfast was good and filling. The only drawbacks were our ice machine was not fixed for 3 of the nights that we were there and one of our rooms smelled slightly like smoke. Otherwise it was a great hotel, with very helpful and nice staff

The hampton Inn was a wonderful stay! The pool was very nice! Excellent & friendly staff! Breakfast & coffee was very tastey! All in all a very warm & cozy atmosphere!
