Breakfast consisted of cereal, old Coffee and milk.. bagels were old and stale.. That is not a continental breakfast .. When asked about lack of choices..I was told " Who u think we are?? THE HILTON".. First amd last time I stay there..

Mold in bathroom, lots, overshadowed the nice and friendly staff. The carpet was sticky. Bed sheets were clean but very old. Pool looked good. I am glad I only stayed one night. It was almost like camping.

The housekeeping was horrible. We had to complain everyday, because our beds weren't made, our towels weren't replaced, room not vaccummed, nothing replinished. The lobby service was amazing but the housekeeping service was downright horrible.

When you do not pay much you should not expect much

The room is acceptable. However, the physical location is difficult to find although I use a GPS for navigation. I had to wait at least 10 minutes for check-in process because the hotel staffs were counting coins when I arrive at 11pm.

It is very close to all sights for pleaseure & the beach. I felt like we may have gotten a lesser room because we sm9oked. The carpet was not in good shape & the coffee pot had been left dirty & on the 2nd day we were promised clean towels & never received them. I would pick a different motel next time.

we were headed to the beach for my niece wedding and at the last minute looking for reservations. we enjoyed our stay the room was kind of musky smell but overall no problems. we would stay again. the manager was very helpful with extra towels and breakfast.

my experience was not a good experience. when housekeeping came to clean the room I was still in the room and no one never came back to clean the room. when I return the same dirty towels was still in the room and no one put new ones in the room. I had to go and ask for more towel. Didn't have a iron inl the room I had to go and ask for that also and […] it was broke so i had to go back and ask for another. That one did work. If it wasn't for the friendly service from the staff I think I would have went some where else. Lees meer

The room smelled very bad. The bathtub handle removed, the AC did not work. Had to change rooms at 11pm with sleeping children. Very disappointed.

Room smelled musty/like mildew. Bed sheets even felt wet. Had to leave and find another hotel in the middle of the night. We will no longer try Travelodge. Thankfully hotel management was willing to work with us.

overall the hotel was fine. the continental breakast was limiting and the coffee for breakfast was kept in containers marked Folgers (which the coffee was not ! ). Non-smoking rooms were on the ground level (very nice). Bed was comfortable. I would stay there again if all I was looking for was a room to sleep in and seek my breakfast elsewhere.

I called to inform them of a late check in. When I arrived, they did not have me registered. It took about 30 to straighten it out. I had my confirmation # in my hand. The lady asked me if I had already paid for my room. This concerned me that I might be billed for the room twice. She said that she would have to call Hotel.com before she could give […] me a room and wanted to know if I had the number. She finally gave me a room without having it worked out. I never heard anything else about it. I also put a "Do not disturb" on my door when I left because I didn't want anyone in my room with my computers. When I got back the tag was off my door and my room had been cleaned. While I appreciate my room being cleaned, I didn't appreciate them entering my room when I asked that they not do this. And then they didn't leave any towels. As we were taking a nap housekeeping knocked on our door and delivered towels. Lees meer

This is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The room was dingy and there was stuff left in the drawers from previous guests. It has a Jacuzzi tub, however, it didn't work. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom. The price was rediculous for what we got. The only recommendation i would give is that it be closed down.

BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS!!! We had 4 adults and 2 kids in a room with only 2 washcloths and 3 towels...little ridiculous if you ask me but the staff was very nice. They did offer to wash and dry our beach towels

We had 2 rooms booked, both were dirty and one smelled like mildew. Neither room had adequate towels and washclothes for the people booked. Will never stay here again.

The hotel is a little worn. The pool was nice. We had to ask for pillow cases and we practically had to beg for fresh towels. When we did get clean towels, they only gave us two. We never got any wash cloths. With two adults and three children there was not enough to go around. We had to dry off on our own damp beach towels and bathe with the towels […] that were given to us. Plus, housekeeping banged on our door at 8 am every morning. For what, I have no idea. They vacuumed the room once and made the bed once in the two days we were there. The hotel is not very new like the pictures appear to be .The room was a little dirty . There was black mold in the bathroom wall where the shower area is . The maid service does not make your beds or clean your room . All they do is take out the trash and give you clean towels . VERY DISAPPOINTED AT TYPE OF SERVICE NOT GOOD HOUSE KEEPING AT ALL. ROOMES WERE NOT CLEANED ,HAD TO TAKE TRASH OURSELVES AND HAD TO CLEAN OUR OWN ROOM ANDHAD TO CONTINUE ASKING FOR TOWELS THROUGH OUR STAY.SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO ASK FOR THEMIT WAS JUST SAD.

We recently stayed at the Travelodge in Gulf Shores along with my Mother and other family. There were a total of 11 of us in different rooms and we booked through hotels.com. When we got to the hotel it was not in the area that we were told that it would be. Also the whole time that we were there which was a week we had a problem with the hotel giving […] us towels and cleaning our room. I ended up having to go buy towels so that we could take baths because they told us that even though we booked the room for 4 adults that they were only allowed to give us 3 towels maximum. Well then we had to give them our towels to wash and they wouldnt give us any back cause they were running low they said. It was a hassle with the towels the whole time. THey only cleaned our room once the whole week we were there and all they did was vacuum it. Our dirty towels were still in the bathroom floor when we got back. I had to go to one of the housekeepers and get the stuff to clean my own room and vacuum it another time cause they hadnt done anything. I will never go back and stay at this hotel EVER AGAIN!!! The manager that worked days was a major pain and was not helpful at all. He was very rude!!! Lees meer

towel bars were loose, towels were stained, floors were dirty feet got black walking without shoes, everything needed updating, we were not happy with the accomodations but had no other choice since we were only there for 2 nights on a holiday week. Well at first the room was not all that clean. I pulled back the sheets and there was something hard on the sheets. Like someone had blown their nose. I do no think the sheets were changed. Went to the front desk and they gave me sheets out of The dryer. The pool was not very clean at all. The hotel was very over priced for what they had to offer.. […] I visit gulf shores alot through the year and this was the worst visit ever! I will not stay there again. To much for this hotel. walls have been patched and not painted bathtub drain plug torn apart wall outlets worn plugs would not stay pluged in safe was rusted and nasty looking lightbulbs were missing out of 2 of the 4 lamps to many charter buses with to much noise at 700am.

The staff was friendly and quick. The room was clean. The hotel was conveniently located between Foley and the beach, at the last light before the bridge. The staff was friendly - the room was as clean as you can get things that old - the surrounding area was dirty with trash and cigarette butts- the breakfast was the bare minimum and the coffee was very weak. The staff was friendly.

We reserved this room assured we would have 2 infant cribs available to us as we have 8 month old twins. When we checked in we were given a roll away bed and were told they didn't have any cribs. Big disappointment. There was dried urine all over the bathroom floor and dried food in the sleeper sofa. The fridges in the room smelled horrible also. The room we stayed in seemed very run down. You could see bad patch jobs in the sheet rock and stains on the carpet. Not a nice place to stay. I have used other hidden deals but none have been this bad. I will never use expedia's unpublished deal again.

I booked this hotel last minute for one night before a triathlon I had coming up. I didn't want much out of it, just a place to rest before an early start the next day. It was a pretty run down hotel. The best thing about the room may have been the cold a/c. Not much else to write about after that.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The room on the other hand was suffering from an odor that was unpleasent and the the shower, tub was rather dirty from previous occupants. The wall mounted hair dryed was just resting in a hole on the wall, a slight touch and it completely fell right off the wall into my hand, yikes.. The hallway on the first […] floor where the soda machine and ice maker are kept was in complete disrepair.
