Fairfield Inn Milford in Milford

The hotel was everything we expected it to be.The service was excellent; they are on the ball and know how to run a hotel. The continental breakfast area was large and the food was fresh, varied and plentiful. Very pleasant stay !!

It was a great price and to be honest I didn't expect it to be as nice as it was. If I have to stay in the area again, I will stay there. The breakfast was pretty good too!

Hotel staff was very helpful and curteous. Room was clean, overall quite hotel.

Hotel was clean and very comfortable. Easy access from I-95.

There were several young guys in their 20s staying on the same floor and arguing and this went on and off for about an hour with calls to the front desk. Finally, though I was alone, I went out there myself and the group stopped and it was then quiet. This was about 2 a.m.

Right off highway, but nice and quiet. Customer service from hotel stuff was excellent. close to Mall, Dining, and Metro-North to NYC

IF YOU JUST WANT TO GET AWAY, THIS WAS THE PLACE TO GO. WE LOVED IT!

Near the major highways but very quiet area with nice surroundings. Friendly staff. Clean room with up to date furnishings and bath. No restaurant or lounge but both nearby. Overall a good night sleep and would stay again.

We found the Fairfield Inn to be a nice hotel. The problem was in finding it!!! The entrance is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to see from the road. There is a very small sign but you cannot see it until it is too late. Despite driving past it twice, after we found it, we went to dinner in New Haven and upon returning, STILL had trouble finding the entrance. […] Way too many trees blocking the view of the normal large Fairfield Inn sign. The reason you book a hotel for the night is to get some sleep. We were put in a room adjacent to both the ice maker and the elevator, intolerably loud (really loud like someone banging on the wall every 10 minutes as the ice fell into the machine) especially in conjunction with the I95 which is only about 50yrds. distant.. Ok so we are off to a bad […] start, but the hotel is only half full so we can switch rooms and everyone is happy...............well so we thought. Went and spoke with the manager regarding a room change and received the answer that it was against hotel policy to change the type of room when booked on line. So because we had booked a double bed room and they only had 2 double rooms available they absolutely refused to do anything even after a call from this booking agency to the GM they still refused. We were booked for 2 rooms for five days so we left after one night and moved down the road. The worst excuse for customer service from any hotel I have ever stayed in period. Nice hotel and convenient location off of the highway. My one small complaint is that there was a small leak in the toilet tank. Otherwise the hotel served it's purpose for an overnight stay.

Just stayed overnight this time, staff is friendly and helpful, room was clean, would like to see more things offered for the continental breakfast but a hot waffle was great. The rooms do have microwaves and small refrigerators which are not listed on the amenities.

The friendliest hotel staff I ever met. They would fulfill any reasonable request in a timely fashion.Close to I 95 and main Rds., beaches & restaurants & downtown. Good choice. Room A/C is alittle noisey if your used to central air.Buffet breakfast had a variety of choices. Would recommend a visit.

Nothing against Marriott. I did not care for the location of this Hotel. Hotel itself was very nice. Very Clean and I loved the fact that you provide breakfast for their customers. On our busy schedule, we did not have to stop over anywhere to get breakfast. It was a nice stay.

For a three star hotel, I was very content. I've stayed at many five and four star hotels that I had complaints about. But this place delivers what it promises. It was quiet, though very near the highway, it is tucked into a secluded little hideaway surrounded by trees. (see it on Google Maps) I found the bed to very comfortable as well. I not only reserved with hotels.com, I called the hotel to confirm we were bringing my 90 and 95 year old parents and tomake suer we had a first floor roomthat would comfortably accommodate their needs. Upon arriving my parents were given room with non-fucntioning air-conditioning and the manager on duty (Wednesday, June 1) would not give us another […] room before insisting that the ac could be fixed. We pursued asking for another room because my mother has asthma, and after a long day's trip my parents were needful of rest, we stood and waited while the checked electrical switches that weren't even part of or near the unit. He finally moved my parents to our room which was my original request because it was air-conditioned so they could rest. He then moved us to a disabled room - we are not disabled - telling us this was all he had available. The parking lot was not filled- practically empty when we arrived and was not full later that night or early the next morning. This was not very nice treatment - very inhospitable. For the money spent this is an excellent place to stay and the breakfast if you get there in time is not all that bad and I am a picky person!!! Very accomodating

The hotel was very clean. The desk clerk was very accomodating when we asked for directions to various places. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Variety of foods and all included in our price.

Vey well maintained hotel. Courteous staff. Awkward location as tour bus could not get in. Breakfast area small but well organized and full. Access from freeway very easy. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

This hotel has a great location just off of I-95. Easy in and out, but I didn't really want to leave. Better than its location is the staff. Don't know why they're so happy and friendly but hope they keep up the good work. They made a quick stay a very enjoyable experience. Helped with information about local dining, train service into NYC, which was […] the purpose of our trip, and taxi arrangements. If I could give a rating higher than 5 for the staff of this hotel I would. If you are looking to explore the Milford area or if you are taking the train into NYC you should put this hotel high on your list to be considered. Lees meer

For a quick overnight on the road, this hotel was just fine. The rooms were well-insulated from noise and clean. Complimentary breakfast choices were abundant. Good waffles.

Clean and pleasant hotel just off I-95 at Milford CT. Situated between I-95 and a railway line, is fairly isolated from any other facilities, but mall and other shops 5mins away by car. Hotel itself v clean and staff helpful and courteous. All you can eat breakfast available in room off reception. Coffee machine in room. Just make sure you don't park […] in the Disabled spaces outside the hotel (there is entirely adequate additional parking in front of the hotel), since the staff told me that the Milford Police often ticket offenders. Hard to understand since they were issuing tickets on private property, but they obviously need to keep their quota of parking tickets per month. Lees meer

Close to highway. Clean rooms but smaller than I expected. Not much in neighborhood. Ok for the price

I had no problems here. Very nice hotel and at a decent price. Worth the few extra bucks and love the coffee and breakfast. I will stay again for sure!

BEDS ARE MUCH TO SMALL SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST QUEEN SIZ OR KINGS AVAILBALE, EVERYTHING ELSE IS GREAT

Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Be sure to ask for a room with a table and chairs. I have never had a room without at least a small table and chair. With the looming bedbug problem I was afraid however, I did check didn't see any and didn't wake up with any bites.

We wanted a place to disappear, a little romantic, but close enough to home and things to do. Location was perfect. The continental breakfast seemed lame in comparison to other hotel changes where I have stayed. The quality of the food seemed bland and generic. Sure it's free but... No complaints about the cleanliness though. The computer in the lobby […] for guests is nice but froze after I had used it for 10 minutes. Lees meer
