Het verblijf in het hotel was zeer aangenaam. De kamer was op de 18de verdieping en lag aan een rustige straat. Hierdoor hadden we nauwelijks last van verkeersgeluiden. De kamer was lekker ruim en het straalde rust en luxe uit. De turn-over service is echt geweldig. Bij terugkomst op je kamer is je bed netjes opgemaakt, de gordijnen dicht en de verlichting brand romantisch. Ook staat er een relaxed rustig jazz muziekje op. We hadden een bad met uitzicht op het empire state building. Helaas was het zwembad met de bad nog niet open. De Spa zag er overigens schoon en heel erg lux uit. Guest service en maintenance lossen problemen snel en goed op (verstopt toilett). De doorman / belman service is ook erg prettig. De mensen hadden leuke tips, regelde heel vlot taxi's en passen prima op je bagage of zorgen dat deze naar de kamer gebracht wordt. Wat ik jammer vind aan dit hotel is dat alle extra diensten heel erg kostbaar zijn. Wifi op de kamer moet eigenlijk een gratis dienst zijn. In de lobby was Wifi 2 uur gratis en als je dicht bij het raam gaat zitten heb je de wifi van de starbucks aan de overkant. Ook een ontbijt op de kamer is erg kostbaar maar wel een onvergetelijke ervaring. Het Hotel staat in de omgeving SoHo. SoHo heeft gelukkig voldoende leuke restaurantjes en ontbijt gelegenheden in de buurt.

Erg fijn hotel, vriendelijk personeel en zeer behulpzaam. Ontbijt prima, maar de keuze was wat beperkt. Kamer prima, netjes en schoon, beetje klein maar alles aanwezig, en erg luxe. Bedden prima. Centraal gelegen. Bereikbaarheid met de metro ongeveer twee blokken lopen. Aanrader.
Ligging.
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton New York City - Times Square ligt in het centrum van New York, op loopafstand van Broadway, Times Square en Radio City Music Hall. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Rockefeller Center en Station Grand Central Terminal.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze accommodatie met 4 sterren zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een vergader-/conferentieruimte. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/tickets en evenementencatering regelen. Wij hebben met het gezin (3 kinderen) een week in The Tree Guest House gelogeerd. Het personeel is vriendelijk, het ontbijt uitgebreid en het hotel schoon. De gym is ook door de kinderen te gebruiken en wifi is beschikbaar in de lobby. De kamer bestond uit een slaapkamer met twee keer een tweepersoonsbed en in de woonkamer diende de bank tevens als […] slaapbank. Daarnaast is er ook een badkamer. Het geheel is niet groot maar uitstekend geschikt voor een verblijf in New York aangezien je toch de hele dag op pad bent. Het hotel is direct gelegen aan het zeer drukke Times Square, het plein met de bekende lichtreclames en veel toeristen. In het hotel heb je daar geen last van. De ingang van de metro is direct naast het hotel en de concierge kan een taxi voor je regelen. Voor de koffie ligt Starbucks direct om de hoek.Alle delen van Manhattan zijn vanuit dit hotel zeer goed en vlot te bereiken. Wij zeer tevreden over dit hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the […] size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. "Great Times Square location"
Stay was great. Only complaint is with restaurant on 5th floor, Gingers. It was insulting to pay approx $10 for pancakes and get three tiny pancakes smaller than a CD disk. Ridiculous!

Great hotel, very clean and the rooms have all of the little things. Fridge, microwave, extra room (suite) with seperate entrances to the bath. Thermostat worked well. everything was great except the persons at the tourist information boost. The first time we waited 5-10 minutes to have someone show up. Twice my questions couldn't be answered and the person didn't propose to find out.

I took my kids to NYC for the first time (for them)....ages 3, 4 and 7....they LOVED this hotel....our room was HUGE for a NYC hotel room (or most hotel rooms for that matter)....our room faced the M&M store which was a plus....the chocolate chip cookies at check in were a huge hit too! The beds were very clean and comfortable....the fold out sofa bed […] was great for the kids...they thought it was fantastic that they had their own TV in the living room! Lots of families in this hotel....GREAT location...caught the sight seeing bus right across the street....a block away from Toys R Us...wish we could have stayed longer! 5 stars....we WILL be back! My recent stay at this hotel was EXCELLENT! I arrived early and they had no rooms because they were sold out the night before but not only did they get me into a room with in an hour, but they also gave me a very nice room with an amazing view.

If you want to stay right in the middle of the action and madness of times square, this is a great place to be. And reasonably priced.

In the middle of Times Square in the middle of everything. The room was quite comfortable for 5 adults. The only drawback was the bathroom, while it had double sinks, they were not separate from the toilet and tub so it was hard to get everyone ready on time. The location is prfect if you want to do lots of sightseeing. However, is located in extremely crowded place and next door is a transvestite show. The interior has not changed since late seventies and looks like a cheap brothel (my son's words), especially on 5th floor where restaurant is located. Pretty dirty hallways on floors. this was our first visit with our son and wanted it to be a wonderful experience for him. The staff (especially Michael) when we checked in was otu of this world. made us feel like we were the only people there despite being full. We wanted to extend our reservations but were unable. They did all they could to assist. Had to call maintenance for a minor […] issue and they were up to our room within three or four minutes. I was shocked. At other hotels I would still be waiting. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We took subway to WTC and other sites, Broadway shows were within walking. Room was very nice. Very convenient to Times Square and theater district. Difficult to get to the hotel because of the crowded Times Square area. I felt that Wi-Fi should have been free.

Check in was a breeze. The free warm cookies that we received on check in and check out were a lovely bonus. Our room slept 5 comfortably. My kids loved the Nintendo games. Great view and of course convenient to Broadway. The only complaint I have is that as soon as we got into our room, we used the coffee machine to make coffee and tea, figuring that […] when the maids turned down the beds at night they would replace what we had used so we would have more coffee and tea for the AM. Hotel was very nice in a great location. A little pricey, but worth it. The pull out sofabed was not at all comfortable. Concierge service was excellent, recommending shopping locations, restaurants and even booked our broadway show.

"The Best Located Hotel in NYC - Timesquare!!"
Hotel was in the most perfect convenient location...middle of Timesquare. Our room was located on the 31st Floor with a wicked view from both sides of our suite with King size bedroom and a very comfortable pullout bed that slept 2 teenage boys. We will definitely stay he again without a question next time visiting NYC.

The hotel's location can't be beat for theatre goers. It's location, directly across from the TKTS booth with close proximity to the subway, make this a must do. I t may cost a little more (but, not much) but it was wirth it! Clean, comfortable rooms and ample security made it a great stay. We'll definately be coming back!

Stayed here for two nights, following two days of meetings and needed rest and a little fun too. This hotel is right in the middle of the fun of Times Square, yet it is quiet and so very comfortable. I love DoubleTree and have stayed in other cities and I always feel I am at home away from home. This hotel had wonderful staff, a great bed and plenty […] of room to spread out. A great desk to work and a kitchenette to have a snack any time. I ordered room service from Gingers and it was so delicious and delivered hot in under 25 minutes- on a weekend!! Walk out the door and you are surrounded by everything "New York". Security is right there, doorman is too and I was traveling alone and never worried about safety at this hotel. Rooms were clean, service was efficient and the location was great. Loved the warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival and everyday thereafter if you ask for them at the front desk. Buffet breakfast at hotel was also good.
