omdat het aan de rand is van de vieux carré zit je er wel, maar slaap je nog, als je in Bourbon street zit doe je denk ik geen oog dicht hier heb je iets minder lawaai.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit romantische hotel. Heel gastvrij ontvangen door aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Het hotel zit op loopafstand van Bourbon street en Frenchmen street is 3 blokken de andere kant op. Parkeren van je auto kan problematisch zijn, het hotel heeft alleen een klein stukje stoep beschikbaar. Het ontbijt is aan de karige kant, maar in de buurt zijn genoeg leuke cafés om een ontbijtje te halen. Internet in het hotel werkte goed.

Ligging.
Hotel Le Marais ligt in het centrum van New Orleans, op loopafstand van Bourbon Street en Jackson Square. In de buurt bevinden zich ook French Market en New Orleans Jazz Park.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Hotel Le Marais heeft een buitenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. Een draadloze internetverbinding is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit hotel met met 3 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum met 24/7 toegang en een vergader-/conferentieruimte. Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een bar aan het zwembad en een bar/lounge. Elke ochtend wordt gratis ontbijt geserveerd. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice en hulp bij excursies regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere stomerij-/wasserijservices, een safeloket bij de receptie en een lift. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie. De algehele renovatie van deze accommodatie is in november 2010 voltooid.
Hotelkamers.
Elk kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad of het binnenplein. Hotel Le Marais heeft 66 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van iPod-dockingstations en een gratis krant. Elke 42-inch flatscreen televisies wordt geleverd met kanalen via de kabel. Alle kamers beschikken over een bureau, ergonomische stoelen en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. gratis lokale gesprekken (hiervoor kunnen beperkingen gelden). Gasten hebben gratis draadloos internet op de kamer. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras. Elke badkamer is voorzien van douches, kamerjassen en designer toiletartikelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere make-up-/scheerspiegels en een haardroger. Daarnaast wordt dagelijks een huishoudservice aangeboden. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als een telefonische wekdienst beschikbaar. In Hotel Le Marais mag niet op de kamers worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.
Speciale verzoeken kunnen, indien mogelijk, bij het inchecken worden ingewilligd. Hiervoor kunnen extra kosten worden aangerekend. Speciale verzoeken kunnen niet worden gegarandeerd.

"perfecte locatie, goed hotel"
goed hotel op kruipafstand van Bourbon street. Vrijwel alles aanwezig (muv mini bar en restaurant, maar ja, het hotel ligt midden in een wijk vol leuke café's en eetgelegenheden). Schoon, rustig en netjes.

Nice hotel in a good location for the French Quarter. The rooms are not large but are good for the location. The courtyard is great. Bring your own hair dryer. They do not provide one in the room.

"Loved the Hotel"
We loved the hotel the room which was so comfortable. The staff was super friendly, we were greeted every time we entered the lobby. The photos on the website were accurate and only showed a bit of the beauty of the pool. If you want to be in the heart of the French Quarter, stay at Hotel le Marais. The Hotel was even better in person! The pictures cannot tell how cool and chic this spot is. From the Lobby, to the Bar to the outdoor pool area. All very modern and hip. The rooms were just as nice. Great gym, all the right equipment to get a solid workout!!

I've been to and stayed at many places and this place was the best. Everything was great. Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and everthing in the room was new and worked. They even have an iPod dock to listen to "your" music. I had just stayed in a three hundred plus dollar a night 1100 sq ft suite in a well known italian named hotel in Vegas […] that didn't measure up to this place.....I will always return to this place when ever I come back to New Orleans...Thank you! This place was exactly what I wanted. It was contemporary, new, clean, and classy. Its literally 1 block from Bourbon St. Room was immaculate. Cool contemporary design in the room and common areas. A nice little boutique hotel. Location in the heart of the French Quarter. Advertised as having a pool but it was really more of large hot tub -- too small for exercise, but enjoyable just the same as it is in a scenic courtyard with a bar just a few steps away. "Unbeatable location; Modern Comfort"
This hotel was perfect in every way: close to everything, modern and appealing to the eyes, packed with the convenience of a business center and a nice bar, run by a friendly, accomodating staff. Initially parking/dropping off your car is confusing. Check-in was fine, but when we arrived at the room, we were surprised to find strange spots on the ceiling and chair underneath. A friend and I stayed at Hotel Le Marais for a wedding next door. The rooms were clean and the staff was extremely kind, especially the very lovely lady who was the evening manager. It was nice, but I expected nicer for the price. It's right off Bourbon St, if you're into that, but still pretty centrally located. The pool is small, but nice, however the sun only beats down on the pool area from about 11am-1pm. The bed is comfy, but there's no amenities like a normal upscale hotel. This hotel is amazing for the price. Near Bourbon St, but quiet! Staff is great, rooms are immaculate, with all modern conveniences. Good breakfast, newspaper, small, but decent gym. It's just perfect!
"renovated"
My wife and i stayed here 3 days this week. The hotel looks and feels new. Very nice room on par with our stay at the Omni in Austin, TX. The valet is expensive but I don't think you can do cheaper on your own. Restaurants and bars just down the block are excellent. Definitely a gem.

"Great Boutique Hotel in the heart of the Quarter!!"
My girlfriend & our 2 boys had a great, quiet, comfortable stay at Le Marais. Close to everything with great walkability & a cool International ambience... Good coffee & Restaurants are close by.... The staff were excellent and attentive, & friendly!! - 3 cajuns & a Hawkeye in Chi-town!
