Gezellig hotelletje. Stel je wel niet teveel voor bij het ontbijt. Gewoon koffie, thee en wat koffiekoeken. Het ligt wat buiten de stad maar er is een tramhalte niet zover vandaan.

Hotel waar kamers een eigen keukentje hebben. Ligt vlak bij de Mall en andere bezienswaardigheden. Lift is langzaam en internet werkt niet altijd, verder geen poespas.
Ligging.
The Fairmont Washington D.C. ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in Dupont Circle in Washington, dicht bij Dumbarton House, Blair House en Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
The Fairmont Washington D.C. heeft een healthclub, een binnenzwembad en een spabad. Een draadloze internetverbinding is beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes (tegen betaling). Dit hotel met 4 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen zoals een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel met een spa biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een huwelijksservice, een cateringdienst voor evenementen en hulp bij excursies regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een spa, een fitnesscentrum en een sauna. Tegen betaling zijn er een beperkt aantal parkeerplaatsen.
Hotelkamers.
Elke kamer biedt uitzicht op de stad of het binnenplein. The Fairmont Washington D.C. heeft 415 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van iPod-dockingstations en een (laptop)kluis. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling gebruikmaken van de draadloze internetverbinding op de kamer. Elke kamer heeft een lcd-televisie met kabelzenders en betaalfilms. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, ergonomische stoelen en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een weegschaal, badjassen, designer toiletartikelen en make-up / scheerspiegels.
Elke kamer heeft een minibar en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een kluis en een gratis krant. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een koelkast, massagebehandelingen op de kamer en een telefonische wekdienst. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.
Speciale verzoeken kunnen, indien mogelijk, bij het inchecken worden ingewilligd. Hiervoor kunnen extra kosten in rekening worden gebracht. Speciale verzoeken kunnen niet worden gegarandeerd.

In de lommerrijke straten van Dupont Circle staan middelgrote gebouwen en herenhuizen, en bloeien onafhankelijke cafés en winkels. Dit district is met een aantal gaybars en bedrijven de belangrijkste gaywijk van DC. Buitenlandse vlaggen wapperen op Embassy Row, het stuk van Massachusetts Avenue van de Circle naar de National Zoo en de National Cathedral. 's Nachts begeven de lokale bewoners zich naar Adams Morgan voor drankjes en live muziek.

The hotel is top notch! The valets and service staff were fantastic! The room was spacious and the bed was, let's just say, DREAMY! "Fairmont in Georgetown"
This hotel is very conveniently located in Georgetown. The staff are friendly, efficient, and available. The breakfast buffet is a bit over priced, otherwise the hotel is worth the money!
"Fairmont - always top notch."
This is about the 4th time I have stayed at the Fairmont in D.C. Each time has been a delight. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and pleasant. Jason, the Chef, puts together an amazing meal and is a nice fellow as well. I will return.

This hotel was great. The only problem I encountered was that I called the day before to make sure I would get a room with 2 beds. They said it was no problem but then I had to check in late and they gave our room away. We had to use a cot the first night until they could switch us the next day. Stayed 3 nights at the Fairmont in D.C. and had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful and clean and top of the line. It was decorated for Christmas and was lovely. "wonderful stay"
Wonderful hotel and staff...The room was huge and the lobby/bar beautiful. You must try the honey cocktails that are made from the hotels own honey (rooftop hives)

"Pleasantly surprised"
We made a reservation at another hotel over 2 months ago. I received a confirmation email from that hotel about 2 weeks prior to our DC trip. I looked the hotel up on the internet and found they had a problem with bed bugs. We did research on other area hotels and found the Fairmont through Hotels.com The hotel was VERY clean. Staff was very accommodating. […] the price was reasonable. We felt very lucky to have been able to switch hotels to the Fairmont. Great job Lees meer

Perfect weekend. Staff was the most attentive that I've ever experienced. Room was very cozy and well appointed. Didn't want to leave. Can't wait to go back.

"Fairmont in DC"
Was amazed at the space in the corner rooms. Definitely should request a corner room. The decor and hotel in general was very nice. I had never stayed here before but will definitely book here again as it gives me the feeling of luxury at a reasonable price!

...superior service, above and beyond the usual, concierge going out of his way to accomodate even the strangest requests we had, beautiful garden, delicious food. What can I say, it's a Fairmont :)

great location, walkable to georgetown and metro, very nice rooms. lobby and pool area a little tired, but overall a very nice hotel
Liked everything about this hotel except breakfast. No omelet station at the buffet. As a result, all side items got cold as we waited for the waitress to place our order and deliver our omelet. On top of this, when my wife asked for one egg scrambled hard, she was told there were scrambled eggs on the table and the kitchen wouldn't make one egg. imagine, […] for $28, this is too much to ask! "The Faimont Hotel Washington DC"
This hotel is comfrtable yet elegant. The room was very comfortable and the staff couldn't do enough for you. I would stay there anytime. Also ate inthe Juniper resturant. Food and service were excellant
"Fairmount - great location"
a wonderful experience. I wish I had more time to enjoy the hotel. we arrived a bit late and left fairly early. the only complaint was that the air conditioning keep cycling on and off and was louder than I would have liked. great hotel though and a great location

I travel often to DC for business and have stayed in over a dozen hotels in the DC area, and recommend this hotel. It is close to many great restaurants and walking distance to all the shops in Georgetown which is convenient. Also within walking distance to the metro. "luxury hotel"
this hotel would be compared to a Ritz Carleton. Beautiful, comfortable, busy lobby area with living room set ups perfect for relaxing with a night cap or reading the morning paper. The hotel is situated in a very clean, safe area about 4 blocks to the hub of Georgetown and action.

This hotel was excellent. Oscar & Liv at the restaurant were just delightful! I came down with a cold during my stay and the staff took great care of me - brought me extra tissues, and room service was very prompt and courteous. Linda at the front desk was ever accommodating, and my stay couldn't have been better. The staff was friendly, courteous, […] helpful and overall excellent. Hotel was clean and comfortable, and the massages in the spa were excellent - I definitely recommend the Greek Masseuse - he was awesome! "Reliably good"
I stay at the DC Fairmont once each year around the holiday season. It is always a good experience. The staff is helpful and the rooms are comfortable. I did sense a bit of a decline in the "luxury" of the hotel this year. Two of the lamps in my room didn't quite work and there was a problem with the bathroom plug. It doesn't seem as if maintenance […] is quite up to speed. The hotel was, however, very responsive when notified of the problems. The hotel is in a good neighborhood that's convenient to Georgetown, Dupont Circle and not too far from the metro. I do find that I'm able to get a better rate on hotels.com than through the hotel. All in all a good place to stay that I will continue to visit. Lees meer
"Couldn't have asked for more."
Our stay was perfect. The hotel staff was wonderful and provided lots of information about the neighborhood, events, etc. The Christmas decor was also beautiful.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holiday. Check-in was flawless ( we requested early check-in) Our room was next to the elevator ( was this because we had a discounted rate?). The room was cold. We called for a thremostat adjustment. Then called again. While we were out for the evening, it was fixed, though. I requested a memory foam pillow […] (allergies). It never appeared. The hotel staff could should be more efficient and responsive to equal the hotel's star rating. Parking was $40/ day! Lees meer

Stayed on Thanksgiving night. The room had everything I would expect, from flat screen tv, large comfortable sofa chair, desk, coffee maker, GREAT minibar products, etc... The front desk service was also professional. I didn't get the chance to use the lobby or the gym but it looked great. The only problem was the noise that would come from people loudly […] speaking and walking by in the hallway, which was surprising considering the fact the doors were solid and the room as well. "Intimate, Elegant, First class service"
The Fairmont Hotel in Washington, DC is everything I was looking for. Unlike so many of the large hotels that cater to conventions, this is a smaller property with many great details and attentive staff. "Great Hotel Great Location"
Front desk was very helpful and service oriented at check in. Join the Fairmont Presidents Club to get free internet. Parking was a hefty $40 overnight. Great location and walking distance to DuPont Circle and Georgetown. I would stay there again.

"Restring Honor Rally"
Could not have asked for a beeter priced hotel with such quality amenites. On top of all that close to all the Glenn Beck's Restoring Honor Rally and all the attractions. When I return in the futre will saty ther again!
Service was excellent. Staff was pleasant. Nice selection of beverages and snacks in the room. Water pressure in the shower nailed you against the wall!!! The room was clean and quiet. Centrally locate. Easy walk to Georgtown. Highly recommended.
