Een goed middenklasse hotel dicht bij het vliegveld van Newark en een gezellig winkelcentrum. Het hotel beschikt over een eigen shuttlebus van/naar het vliegveld.

Overall, the Hampton Inn in Newark, N.J definitely met our needs. The room was clean, although the bed was too soft. It was quiet, the staff were extremely courteous and helpful and the breakfast buffet was top-notch. The shuttle service from the hotel to the airport was fine, but the return from the airport to the hotel was iffy on a number of occasions […] and we waited for quite some time. The surrounding neighbourhood was OK, although being across the street from the airport, we looked out over highways. This hotel is great for the convenience rather than the surrounding ambience. Everything was fine,except we wer assured by 3 staff persons before our arrival that we could put frozen seafood in a freezer overnight. On arrival we were told that wasn't possible. Fortunatly it was packed very well in an insulated box or we would have been out hundreds worth of Alaska shrimp :(

We stayed the night, there were a group of students who were from Europe with , and they were little noisy, but overall the hotel was good to stay.

Stayed for 2 nights on our way back to the UK. All of the staff were very helpful and polite.The room was clean and spacious perfectly adequate for our needs. We went to the Renaissance Hotel for lunch and dinner, the food was excellent and very reasonable. Breakfast at Hampton Inn was again very good, and as we left early on the last day packed meals […] were provided. The airport shuttle was every half hour (on the hour and 30mins past) We only had a day to explore New York and arranged a tour via the reception desk - this was very worthwhile as we were picked up and dropped at the hotel and the tour included a guide and boat trip out to the Statue of Libery. The Hotel was further than we thought ,but the Van shuttle service really went around via a more complicated route we thought. The room bathroom overflow (toilet) and we had to move bathroom for that morning. We could have moved rooms but our stay was only one day. The staff in the morning were more friendly especially in the breakfast area . The Free […] breakfast is a very strong incentive to booking and of course the name of Hampton Inn with the Hilton back up name. Lees meer

The location is across from the airport and they have a 24 hr shuttle but that comes with the bad side which is being surrounded by industrial area and remote parking lots. The hotel age shows but it still clean and comfortable for the price and has breakfast included. WIFI is free but very slow and un-reliable. Good location for Newark airport. The site should include more information on how to get to and on the shuttle. There is no telephone connection, but usually it comes every half hour in the busy times. Knowing the schedule and any need to telephone beforehand would be useful.

Very convenient with very good van service not only to Newark Airport but also to Jersey Transit. No restaurant on site but an excellent one right next door - an easy, safe walk. Watching a movie sure seemed expensive.

The surrounding area is not a nice one, but this hotel is good to be near-by the location I need to go for business, which is Port of Newark.

Prompt shuttle to & from the Newark Airport with a friendly, knowledgeable driver. Great staff. Very comfortable bed & good breakfast with lots of choices. Recommended for stop-overs or jaunts into NY.

Came here fir one night between flights. Arrived at 12 am hoping to rest but the opposite happened. Room was cold put on heating to find the heater was making such a noise had to shut I down . Tried to get on the Internet , asked the front desk for help but attendant was rude. At 4.30 am was woken up with horrible noise coming from the gym , some one […] was watching a game , I complained to the front desk but he did nothing about that. Had to go out and speak to him but he still did nothing about it. Very dispinted as I always stay at Hampton inns around the country and this was a very bad experience Lees meer

I had the best mini vacation. My room was perfect, and could have accomadated at least 5 people. The staff was excellent. The hotel was exceptionally clean.

Close to Newark, clean and shuttle to/from EWR

Close to EWR airport. Great shuttle service to EWR to catch the $15 bus into NYC. Friendly staff and the cookies at the front desk were a big hit with the kids. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast staff was very nice and welcoming toward the kids. The other guests were also very nice. It was a wonderful experience for our first family trip to visit NYC!

It's good enough, although the lack of a restaurant and the 2x hour shuttle service is not great.

Stayed 3 nights We were a family of 5. The beds were big enough to sleep us all (2 adults & 3 children 12, 9, 4) The size of the room was the only minor issue, but considering that were were 5 persons, (with 2 piesces of luggae each), wasnt so bad afterall. Nice bathroom. The gym was simple, but with the essentials, a couple threadmills, cross trainers […] and a nice set of dumbbell weights. Breakfast was simple with the essentials, (cereal, oatmeal, eggs, waffles, juice and fruit, bread bagles etc). I just missed some essential vegetables at breakfast, like cucumber, tomato & maybe some lettuce. No restaurant that I can recall, so dinners have to be out on the town. The shuttle worked perfect, an old bus that they keep running, nice service. Overall a good place to stay if you have a stopover at EWR. If you plan to get around I think a rental car might be a good option, I cant recall seeing any bus service in the area. However, lots of parking, free parking. Lees meer

The Hampton Inn, Elisabeth was clean, confortable, close to the airport. The shuttle was fast and good, even at night and connection to train to Manhatten from airport was fast and easy. Breakfast was good and the hotel service personal was very nice. We will stay there again. Brigitte from Montreal

We stayed here to conduct some business in downtown Newark, and then to see off my daughter for an overseas flight out of EWK, so the proximity was a plus. The hotel was well maintained and clean, and we had no issues with noise or parking. We didn't use the airport shuttle as we had our own vehicle. Check-in was easy and the desk person was helpful. […] We had an excellent lunch at the Valencia nearby in Elizabeth. The area won't win any awards as an urban oasis, but you shouldn't expect any near a major airport. The roads around the hotel are busy and somewhat difficult to navigate, so bring a GPS. As close as you can get to the airport - double glazed windows keep out the noise - excellent food and service - comfy room - good airport shuttle - the only downsides were a difficult to use shower control and an ancient tv - the only reason we stayed there was our flight to Fiji had been cancelled and Air Pacific put us up for the night - and oh yes […] - a very late check out was no problem - We would stay there again Lees meer

This was one of our favorite hotels. Convenient and easy to find. I would recommend to anyone coming to the area and will make another visit myself in the future. Very well worth it. We usually stay else where. We were married in NYC 6 yrs ago New Years Eve and we always try to come to the area every year. This was the best stay, really enjoyed.

Excellent Hotel, friendly service, very clean and most helpful staff I have ever seen.

Easy access to airport. Good conditions. A little high priced for this hotel but happy to have found it since the reviews of other hotels close to Airport were not good.

Good Value, Nice Breakfast, Comfortable Beds

I have now stayed at 2 or 3 of the hotels near this airport and this one was by far the best yet. when i booked this one it was one of the cheapest options so i was expecting a mediocre budget hotel, but was pleasantly surprised when i arrived. The hotel was less than 10 minutes from the airport (which then shuttle us to NYC) and offered free parking […] which when factored in made it the cheapest nightly rate when i bought the stay. The room had a Large King size bed, clean, and everything worked and looked to be in good condition. i do recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to save some money without sacrificing quality. Chose the Hampton Inn Newark Airport, as I wanted a nice hotel close to the airport that had easy transport links to New York City. Was very pleased with my choice and could not fault the hotel at all. Big clean rooms, Very helpful staff and a nice breakfast really did the trick for me free Hotel transfers to the airport and P4 train to Newark Airport […] train station and within 35 mins arrived at Penn station NYC. I enjoyed my over-all stay, the room was very comfortable, the staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. Even the other guest were nice and pleasant. The location was perfect for my business event, the neighborhood was good with eating places in close proximity. The breakfast was very good with bacon/sausage and scrambled eggs in addition to the usual […] fare. Parking was free and the hotel provides shuttle to the airport to get trains into Manhattan. If you're adventurous and willing to drive into the city, it only took me 20-minutes to lower Manhattan. Over-all I would stay again and again. Lees meer

We had a wonderful time. My family and I had 3 hotel rooms. Each room was very clean and comfortable. The king room with study had a nice desk and chair along with a pullout sofa. For the price and during Thanksgiving weekend, couldn't have asked for a better deal. The free breakfast each day was beyond what I expected. They had hot food including sausages […] and omelets. Check-in was extremely fast and courteous. Room was exceptionally clean and beds are incredibly comfortable. Complimentary breakfast included hot items(bacon and eggs) as well as fruit and cereals, breads, etc. This is my third stay here in last two years. On-time shuttle greatly appreciated for airport. we were very happy here at the hampton, very clean and and comfy.breakfast was included,i might say excellent hot and cold buffet .not what we expected,so we were quite impressed.We were four of us my husband daughter and my 77 year old mom.the rooms are beautiful and very clean ,beds very comfy ,bath very clean.fridg and microwave .price very reasonable. […] We stayed here because we were only 20 minutes from NYC this was the reason of our stay.Now the area is not so great if you want to drive around at night and do not know where you are going don't.order in instead . Excellent service, very good shuttle service to and from the airport, clean rooms, and personal were all very friendly. Would recommend this Hotel to anyone asking.

I stayed at this hotel for one night with my wife. The Hampton Inn as a hotel chain in general has a much better attitude towards it's customers than most other hotels I've stayed. The language used on signs is warm and friendly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were the best of any hotel […] we stayed in during our 1 month trip to the US. I recommend this hotel (just) despite a few unacceptable issues I had during my stay: * We were checked into someone else's room. When we opened the door, there was someone else's gear in there. We felt very uncomfortable with this. The manager was already on his way up to tell me they'd made a mistake. This is a mistake that shouldn't happen. * Cable TV channels are very limited - mainly sports and news and one HBO channel. * The hotel is not conveniently located without a car. I had no car so we had to order in food. There was no convenience store in walking distance. * We waited over an hour for the shuttle from the airport. When the shuttle arrived, it filled up quickly. Rather than wait another 30 mins+, my wife and I had to stand in the shuttle bus because it was too small. It was a hairy ride. Despite these issues we still liked this hotel and might stay here again. Lees meer
