Days Inn Bossier City in Bossier City

I ended up not staying at the hotel. I opened the door to the first room they gave me, and someone else was already staying there. I got the next room and there was a 3 in X 2 in hole in the mattress and urine stains all over it. I decided to go to another hotel.

This hotel does not represent the photos provided on the website. The beds set on wooden platforms, and one of them had a Jun Bug underneath the bed spread when I pulled it back. The area is not bad, but is on the edge of the bad part of town. The room had a musty smell when we arrived, but seemed to get better over time (or we just got use to it). […] The "Contenetial Breakfast" was pathetic. There was a very small selection. I would have cancelled my stay upon arrival...but this hotel has a non-refundable policy. This hotel should be priced at $25 a night with the quality it is. I made the mistake booking this place in advance for 2 days. Rate and photos online looked great. The closer you get to this place, I realized it has not been maintained at all. It's not even worth 1 star and the price range should be 27-32 a night. Even for that money you could find something better. I will not return here ever.

Our stay was very adequate. I am always impressed when the towels are fluffy...and they were. Lol...doesn't take a lot to please me. It's the little things. Breakfast was a convenient start to the day. Will stay again.

the overall quality and customer service at the hotel was very good. the housekeeping came bye every morning to ensure nothing was needed and they made sure the comfort level was high every day of the stay

I was expecting to have limited service on Christmas day, but there were other days during our stay when our room was not cleaned. Housekeepers were rude. The outside of the bathtub was dirty. The bathroom walls were dirty. There were spider webs and dust webs behind the bathroom door. The sink was nasty. I was told check in was at 3 pm. I got there at 4:15 pm and had to wait. Check out was at 11am, but the maid came by at 8 am and again at 10am to see if we were checking out.

The bed was dreadfully uncomfortable, the breakfast was substandard, even for a continental breakfast. Parking was available, but the spaces are narrow.

Went to sleep and shower - the temps dropped dramatically while we were there to about 35 at night, but the heater did not work. It kept pushing air out, so if it's 85 you're in business...to add to that the seal on the door was old and cracked and the draft was overpowering. Have a nice head cold from this stay. I can deal with old and not in the best […] shape but simple repairs don't cost much for the price of the room. Forget the 'breakfast' - again, fresh fruit would be welcome as a simple addition. The Breakfast was better than most. Everything was clean, with a nice variety of food. Most friendly attendant, very helpful. The room rate was reasonable.

Staff was fast and friendly, picked up two flat tires between the hotel and destination one and a half miles away. Not sure why. At 27$ per tire fix a trip can get expensive, locals way of sticking it to the tourist.

It was great for the price. The pool was nice. The breakfast was nice too. They even served biscuits and gravy! There was an indention in the sheetrock on the wall inside the bathroom that didn't look appealing. But we called the front desk to notify them in case we were blamed. The hotel advertised high speed internet yet I couldn't get a worthwhile connection. There was no iron or ironing board. I stayed for 3 nights and the maid came every morning at 10am to clean the room; there was no do not disturb sign. I had to go to the front desk and get towels because the maid did not clean the room even after I told the front desk […] that I was leaving for the day and requested maid service because when the maid woke me up I requested she come back in about an hour. Lastly, the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. The front desk called maintenance over the radio to report it, but it never worked during my entire stay. However, the price was reasonable. the front desk staff, the room cleaning personnel and the grounds/ maintenance manager were extremely professional and friendly . Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is very close to the riverwalk, casinos and a community theater.

The weekend was packed and the hotel was not ready. My daughter and I spent one night here on our way to a Texas wedding. Bossier City has grown so much and there are lots of stores to meet your needs. The hotel staff was friendly, and when I couldn't get the door open, the maintenance man came quickly and took care of the problem immediately! The carpet felt a little tacky, but wearing flip flops took […] care of that for me. The king bed was the most comfortable bed we've slept on in awhile. My daughter wanted to take it home with her :o) Having breakfast included with the room is always a benefit, and the 6 to 10 serving time met our need to be on the road early! I feel that if the carpet, curtian and comforter was changed the room would feel more comfortable. And the sheets had stains in them. As for quiteness there was no problem.

You get what you pay for. It was fine. We felt safe, and overall enjoyed our stay. There were no special frills, thrills or anything. If you need the room to sleep and keep on traveling it is fine.

We were shocked to see a national chain like Days Inn run a hotel like this. Our room was the dirtiest hotel room we've ever stayed in. The carpet in places was sticky, so much so that we felt it necessary to wear shoes whenever we got up to walk around the room. One of our bath towels had large, brown stains on it. Our bed blanket had a large stain […] on it. The continental breakfast was pathetic. The only hot food item they offered were biscuits & gravy, but by 8am-ish, they had already run out of biscuits & had no more to put out. We were told by a guest who had stayed there before that this happens on a regular basis. The only food offerings included pre-packaged muffins and some plain bagels. Not even cereals or regular sliced bread for toast was provided. It was a ridiculous excuse for a continental breakfast; don't know why the hotel even bothers to provide anything at all. The only nice thing we can say about Days Inn was that the front desk clerk & maintenance man were polite. We had plans to stay another night at this hotel on our way back home, but cancelled the reservations & instead made reservations (via hotels.com) at Bossier City's Holiday Inn Express on E. Texas Street. The Holiday Inn was a bit more expensive, but worlds better than Days Inn, quality, comfort & cleanliness wise. It was very refreshing after our horrible Days Inn stay. Wanted to vacation with my Grands. Alligator farm, Sci port, River Walk and Water Park.. Just needed a place to sleep at night. Motel was older but not dirty. Front desk people where friendly. Breakfast was good. Rooms are old. We had a room that seem ok until the night when we had to turn the lights on, all but one was working. Remote control for TV was not working. Bath tub had hair in it and the toilette flushed poorly thus making it overflow. Hair dryer was not working and they had no spares. Maintenance […] was sent imediately but some of the stuff he could not take care of. In the morning we asked to be changed to a different room,we told them that we would wait until after one to make sure they had rooms available after people checked out. By the time we reminded them the front desk lady said that she had no rooms available. After my roomate was upset we where given a smoking room (we had a non-smoking). I have to say this room actually smelled better than the previous one and everything was working. Every day we had to ask for more towels because the rooms only come with one set even thought it was for 2 people. Second day we got up late (11am) and our room was never cleaned. For the price you could get better but it was easily accessible from freeway and had a convenient location. If you are only spending one night here then it's ok but no more than that. Lees meer
