I always enjoy staying at Hampton. The only disappointment I had with this Hampton was the breakfast. The hot eggs were cheese omlets and I have problems with cheese and the hard boiled eggs tasted terrible. They were obviously cooked, frozen and then thawed. They were completely inedible. The write up stated that there are refrigerators in every room. Once we got there we did not have a refrigerator and were informed that they were only in rooms with King-sized beds.

The business I was visiting was right across the street from the hotel. I found the best Italian restaurant south of Buffalo, NY right around the corner. Great visit.

Stayed at this hotel twice while dropping my child off at WVU. Very close location and has the convenience of being next to an Applebees that stays open late. Only complaint would be that the beds are full size, but comfy and clean.

It was ok but not up to the usual standard we are used to as it's an older hotel. May need up-dating at some point.

Very nice experience could use a pool. Double beds are too small, they could upgrade to queen.

everything was great except at check in, the room's shower had been used, used soap bar and shampoo still in tub, and an extra guest key was left in the room

We loved the Hampton Inn Morgantown. The entire place looked very clean and well maintained. Complimentary breakfast was great. Loved the coffee and tea available in the lobby at all times. I have stayed here twice while touring and then dropping my son at WVU. Great location, clean, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. Great breakfast too!

Nice staff and was very pleased with how clean it was. Breakfast was also very nice for a hotel breakfast. Will stay at Hampton Inn all the time if they are all this nice.

I really don't have much to say bad about this hotel. The hallway's AC unit on the 4th floor was not working which made it a little warm in the hallway. The grout around my bathtub needed to be replace as there was some mold starting to grow on it but other than that great hotel. Staff was friendly, great breakfast, nice amenities.

Everyone from the staff at the front desk to the cleaning staff were very friendly and accomodating. Very pleased with the room when we arrived; over and above what we were expecting. The continental breakfast exceeded our expectations as well, not just bagels and coffee.

It was so conveniently located for our concert-just 10 min. The front desk clerk was especially friendly and efficient. I just had to show my I.D., since Expedia did all of the booking. Thank you-so grateful for this! The room was very accomodating, & even with the many motorcycles-coming & going-we weren't really disturbed by it-well soundproof rooms! […] (We were going to an event at WV Mountainfest Annual Motorcycle Rally at Mylan Park.# It got even better in the morning! Our copy of the bill was in our room & all we had to do was turn in the room keys to the front desk clerk. Then- the breadfast buffet was even a better plus! It was a very nice layout with something for everyone, including cold and hot items, fruits, and diff. drinks. The coffee,tea, and hot choc. machines around the corner to the buffet were very handy with grab &go containers-very accomodating! #I always noticed an employee refilling the empty containers immediately-especially disposing of the trash immediately. Excellent Hotel!!! Everything was super clean and organized, complimentary cookies and coffee were fresh, complimentary breakfast was decent, bathrooms extremely clean, and beds were super comfortable!!!

stayed at hotel in order to take our college student son back home after semester..hotel was clean, convenient and comfortable..only issue was our GPS did not take us directly to the hotel site..

updated and clean. one of the few hotels that will let you put 5 in a room with a rollaway, though it was a bit crammed. breakfast was great and free coffee, hot chocolate and tea out all day. good location for Evansdale campus of WVU.

The bathroom area was small and the walls of the room had scuff marks and needed some touch-up paint. The decor was very nice and updated! The continental breakfast included normal offerings like waffles, fruit and cereal; but also included oatmeal, hot breakfast pizza and bacon.

Stayed here for a visit to UWV. Right across the street from campus. Friendly staff, comfortable room. Decent breakfast in the morning. Would recommend for anyone coming to visit the University or Morgantown area.

Good experience, clean, great breakfast, close to college and relaxing stay! Check in clerk not overly friendly or knowledgeable to answer our room loction etc. We will definately come back!!

This was a great hotel. The only thing that I regretted was getting a room with 2 double beds. The double beds were pretty tiny for a couple, so next time, I'll book a queen bed room. Other than that, the staff were wonderful and so friendly - they even called the room after we checked in to make sure everything was to our liking. Clean rooms, nice hotel, good location, nice employees; however if the hotel is full do not plan on taking a hot shower when you wake up. I got up the next morning to take a shower and the water was freezing cold. I can not stand a cold shower. I called down to the front desk and the employee said there were to many people taking showers and maybe try […] in about 15 to 20 minutes. 15 to 20 minutes later still no hot water. I have never stayed in a hotel anywhere that I did not have hot water. I was very disappointed. Also due to the hotel being full there were not enough pillows to go around so it made for an uncomfortable night. Pillows mean alot Lees meer

I must begin with the fact that when I walked into my room and the Hampton Inn Morgantown it smelled like smoke and it was considered a non-smoking room. When I called the front desk to ask for a room change they were very happy to help me. When I got to my new room it smelled fine. The hotel is very nice and clean and the people are clean. The location […] is perfect it is close to restaraunts and about a 3 minute drive from the WVU Downtown Campus. It is even closer to the Evansdale Campus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very clean and everything in working order. The breakfast was wonderful. A lot of variety. Loved the coffee availablity at all times and the yummy cookies in the evening!

This hotel was wonderful. We always look for a hotel with a breakfast, not just continental. Both mornings were fantastic. The only thing I noticed was that the double their rates for special ocassions. Too too expensive. But alot of the hotels there do to.

Drain in bath was clogged. I had to get out and wash feet again. 50/50 chance if lights would come on in Bathroom. Iron dripped water and stained 1 of my shirts. TV selection was bad and no TV Guide channel to let you know what was playing on different channels.

Nice hotel, was clean, decent free continental breakfast. Way overpriced but not much else you can do in Morgantown on a football weekend.
