It served the purpose of a bed for the night.

A very good hotel, and close to Baystate Medical Center which was the purpose of the trip. The room was fine and there's no complaints except for the incredibly slow wireless internet connection. It was literally as slow as dial-up or worse! There's a lot of construction going on nearby so all night long it was "Beep beep beep!" as trucks were backing […] up on the highway nearby and the smell of molten tar was thick in the air. This is hardly the fault of the hotel but bring your GPS anyway because the on-ramp to highway 91 southbound was closed. We found the hotel in Springfield to be a blessed relief. Wood floors, great bedding and finally, a TV up high enough so that you don't break your neck watching it in bed! Staff was great and our late arrival was handled very well with the room requested standing by. Thank you!

Red Roofs have a general layout about them, especially the newly remodeled ones. 2 Floor outdoor rooms. Newly remodeled and clean rooms with decent beds, basic hotel amenities and a wall mounted flat screen TV. Local and chain restaurants around and about 10 minutes from the Eastern States Fair Grounds.

Good hotel room for the price I paid. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and I was fairly comfortable. I would have liked a coffee maker in the room instead of going down to the main lobby. Hotel inside and front desk meets most requirements. However, surrounding area is NOT safe. Hookers walking around, what appeared to be drug related transactions happening, had to look out side every once in awhile to make sure my vehicle was still there. i am quite satisfy with my stay within the hotel i definately would recomand this hotel to all my friends who would go toward that area for a night or a weekend stay in the west springfield area

good for one night lay over

The room was very clean and updated. I was happy to see the room was as clean as the reviews said on here. One thing though...at 2:40am there was a very loud confrontation outside somewhere in the parking lot. To me, I was assuming it was alcohol related as there are (2) bars/restaurants very close to the hotel. While it may not be the hotel's fault, […] it was kinda sketchy at that hour hearing a man threatening another within close proximity. I had a security scare when the locked door was opened by an unknown person who I believe was staying in the room next to mine. Are all keycards programmed differently?

The staff was friendly but the first room they sent me to hadn't been cleaned. They were apologetic and put me in another (clean) room. The hotel is pretty far from the bus depot but there is a bus which stops almost in front of the hotel which takes you to the bus terminal in about 20 minutes - much cheaper than the taxi. This was a good, clean room for the money. We just needed a bed for a quick weekend funeral trip close to family. Bed and pillows could have been more comfortable, but not terrible. Surprisingly quiet. No extras like pad and paper, coffee, breakfast, etc., but hence the cheap price. Would stay again in a pinch.

This place isn't bad. It's very close to I-91 so it's convenient for freeway access. The rooms are a decent size and seem like they've been redone relatively recently. The hardwood floors are an especially nice touch. Having a king sized bed was nice, but the mattress seemed a bit old and springy and could probably stand to be upgraded. Hotel had just been renovated so everything was new. Front desk very acommendating and friendly. Good proximity to everything.

Just stayed for a quick overnight. Dirt cheap and we were gone in the morning. Perfect for our situation. Would recommend.

I have stayed here before and it is always hit and miss. The desk person checked us into our room, and my girlfriend and I had gotten settled and were getting change to go out, and evidently the front desk gave some one keys to our room, and they were able to walk in on us while we were changing!

I have asthma so the wood flooring was great! I wish every hotel could do that.

The place is convenient and close to major highways and shopping. Ample choices of places to eat.

Clean and comfortable room with quiet heat/ac unit. Hotel was crowded with outside rowdiness, but room was quiet.

Price was high. Motel was mediocre. Exterior wet paint everywhere when we arrived. Our card keys expired after first night and had to be renewed for the second night of our stay. Room cold on arrival, HVAC unit off (Mid 30's outside). Fan did not function on low speed. Burning smell from heater. No hair dryer in room. Had to cross parking lot to get […] ice. Lees meer

I booked into this hotel online after seeing the pictures and its' proximity to my place of business. Although I had booked a non-smoking room the one I got reeked of tobacco & had other odors which could have been due to pets allowed in the rooms. The room was on second floor with outside approach through a narrow stairway with dirty laundry being […] done in open view & actual cobwebs on the stairs. I am not an anxious person but the surrounding area was deserted with a couple of shady characters going in and out of the adjacent rooms. The inside lock on the door was broken & the mattresses uncomfortable. The receptionists were rude to the patrons on & off the phone. I heard one of them make fun of a customer after hanging up the phone. Another refused a pregnant lady to use their toilet. I won't stay at this place again. Lees meer

The first room they gave us reeked of cleaning chemicals so we requested another. The happily obliged. The other room was decent. Nothing to praise and nothing to criticize.

Overall nice place for quick business stay. was well maintained. bed was little too over worn.

This motel is well-kept, its conveniently located off of I-91 and around various fast food chains and restaurants. So for people traveling through the area, its a good bet.

Simply needed a bed to crash in for a couple of hours. This place was completely adequate for the price. The room was clean, the staff were friendly/helpful.

Clean and surprisingly well appointed for the price. The beds are reasonably comfortable, there is always a good space to do work, a comfortable arm chair for relaxing. We have stayed in Red Roof Inns in several states around the country now and we prefer this chain to any other in the budget category.

Room was very clean, king size bed was very comfy, staff was very nice and accommadating.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights, getting my daughter settled at Springfield College. The hotel was convenient to a nice mall in Holyoke, and easy to get on the highway to get to the college. Nice clean room and the ice machine actually works! Lots of construction nearby so plan ahead. My only bad experience was in the television - I could not connect my media device to the television in the room and the picture quality was poor. Overall very nice room at a fair price.

An affordable, clean place to stay not far from the mass pike. A huge mall complex - actually several complexes in one area - down the road where you can get anything you may want or need. A very good mexican restaurant 50 yards from the back of the hotel. Well worth the price for what we wanted out of our weekend golf holiday.

I arrived after check in time when I arrived in room it had not been cleaned. No other rooms were available so I had to wait. They also charged me again for my night reserved with hotels.com and prepaid. the Mgr said he would look into it, was not too concerned about MY money. The Room had a foul BO smell and had to get lysol and air freshener to remove […] smell. I have stayed here several times and alway's been very satisfied until now. Lees meer

Nice standard hotel. Clean hotel, nice friendly staff. The remodeled to the color scheme I've seen in other Red Roof Inns. Room was plenty cheap and very convenient to Six Flags. My only issue was the loud staggering guys stumbling out of H**ters for a smoke, but once the AC was on we couldn't hear them anyway.
