Cost effective, safe, and clean motel. Wake up calls on time. I will stay there again when in the area on family business.

We found the manager of hotel professional, personable and he asked us to contact him personally (via his business card) the next time we want to make a reservation. We require a handicap room and sometimes these are hard to come by, Perhaps Red Roof could offer a discount certificate the next time we book a reservation. it's nice to know that the Red […] Roof was able to accommodate us. A nice, clean, incredibly convenient hotel just off I-95 and in close driving distance to the mall, Route 1, Milford, and New Haven. I have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed; the best Red Roof Inn I know.

This is hotel was one of the most creepy places I have ever been to! its a great location (near the highway and the mall). But the room had a creepy feeling, as if a horror story could take place at any moment. the toilet didnt work, and the shower had a disgusting stain. Stay somewhere else, if you can afford it.

If you're just looking to get off the highway and get some shut-eye before continuing on, this place is fine. Don't expect satin sheets and gourmet meals; you didn't pay for that! The room and bathroom were clean; the sheets were fine (again, don't expect a heavenly soft mattress cover and comforter) and, most important, it was VERY convenient to the […] highway. I requested a room on the side of the hotel facing away from the highway and never heard a single sound. My only minor complain was that the A/C was not on before I entered my room. In the extreme heat we've been having, it took a while for the room to cool down. I had arrived late and was hoping to fall asleep quickly, but I couldn't sleep until the room cooled down. This hotel is not as clean as some other reviewers led me to believe. My room had ripped wallpaper, a stain in the tub and a non-working remote control. Also, when I arrived there was no one at reception. The door to reception was locked with a note saying "Be Back within 10 minutes." The room was quite clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our stay was very pleasant. The location was right off the highway exit and very convenient to the places we came to visit (family, shopping, nephew's wedding site). It was better than we expected for the price. I used this hotel for a quick overnight stay before a morning audition at Yale, as I wanted a hotel within 30 min driving of the university that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. The facilities were well maintained, the room clean, the staff prompt and courteous, and nothing amiss. My only complaint is that, given the cold winter weather, the heater wasn't […] more effective. It took a few hours with the heat on high to get the room to a bearable temperature. It can be a little difficult to find a restaurant later in the evening that isn't a sport bar or McDonald's and Taco Bell, especially if you don't have a car (in which case it will be an adventure). A nice room that was clean and the people friendly at check in.

Despite being over the motel office the staff did absolutely nothing to prevent the screaming and yelling and partying up and down the walkway outside our room that continued to 2:30 AM. The hotel is very conveniently located right off rte. 95, however, from my room facing the highway I could hear traffic all night long and didn't sleep well as a result. The rooms are very clean but dated, and there are no "creature comforts." The staff was very very nice. The Red Roof Inn is very much a budget hotel and you should be aware it is not […] a place to relax or pamper yourself! This was my second visit to this hotel and as usual I was pleased. The staff is very welcoming and professional. My room was clean, it was close to where I needed and the price was right. This place is great if you just need it for overnight. My room had microwave, television, and fridge as well as a safe.

My room smelled of very strong paint and the bathroom was not very well maintained. There was a large rust stain in the bottom of the tub as well as hair showing the room was not properly cleaned. The next day I was unable to even get a towel and wash cloth because I was told the hotel had run out. I dont understand why there isn't enough to go around. […] After going to my family's home to shower, when I returned there was only ONE clean set of towels in the room and I still did not receive a wash cloth. This hotel is located just off the interstate in an area with only a few other hotels, but close enough to gas and food options. We stayed for one night each on two occasions, 5 days apart. The employees were professional, but not really friendly. Both rooms were about the same - true to the photos, but small. It is obvious that recent cosmetic renovations […] were done. For the most part the room seemed clean. The linens smelled fresh. Though, I was a bit put of by the cob webs in the corners of both rooms. The shower/toilet area is very cramped, and the debris behind the doors seemed to have not be addressed in quite some time. The shower worked well enough. The AC worked well, but was very loud. Overall, this hotel was what I expected for the price. However, I would not consider staying for more than a night or two at a time in the future only because the bed was very uncomfortable. The hotel isn't luxurious, but it was clean and comfortable. It's right off I-95 with easy access to the Merritt Pkwy. as well. The added bonus is that if you're traveling with a pet (which we were), the pet can stay as well.

Room smelled bad, carpet was wet throughout and the room was not the cleanest.

This is the kind of place where you do not want to spend any time when you are awake. Rooms are relatively clean and serve the purpose of an overnight stay.

Very nice and clean. quick jaunt on the highway and you were at the mall and/or home. Price was also good.

the sink didn't drain which was annoying and the toilet ran until the tank's lid was adjusted.

Sehr freundicher Empfang an der Reception. Sehr sauberes Zimmer. Hotel besitzt keinen Fahrstuhl, wenn man im 2.Stock untergebracht ist, hat man mit dem Gepäck ganz schön zu schleppen. Das ist aber das einzig negative an diesem Hotel
