Ligging.
The Leela Goa ligt aan het strand in Cavelossim, dicht bij Cavelossim Beach.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Bij dit hotel hebben gasten toegang tot een privéstrand. The Leela Goa heeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, een golfbaan en 3 buitenzwembaden. In alle openbare ruimtes is draadloos internet beschikbaar (tegen betaling). De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze met 5 sterren-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een secretariaat. Dit hotel heeft 4 restaurants. Daarnaast is er ook een koffiegelegenheid en een bar aan het zwembad. Gasten kunnen gratis gebruikmaken van een pendeldienst van en naar het vliegveld. Het personeel kan op verzoek een huwelijksservice, evenementencatering, bedrijfsgerelateerde dienstverleningen en hulp bij excursies regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een healthclub, een casino en een kinderzwembad.

The Leela Goa heeft 206 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluisje in de kamer. Elke kamer heeft een balkon. Gasten kunnen op de televisie zelf de gewenste premiumkanalen via de kabel/satelliet selecteren. Elke accommodatie biedt een bureau, een gratis krant en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling gebruikmaken van draadloos internet op de kamer. Elke unit is voorzien van een koelkast met koffie/theevoorzieningen. Elke badkamer heeft een afzonderlijk bad en een afzonderlijke douche met een handdouche, een telefoon, een weegschaal en kamerjassen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere pantoffels en gratis mineraalwater. Daarnaast zijn op verzoek voorzieningen beschikbaar zoals een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een telefonische wekdienst. Een turndownservice is elke avond beschikbaar en een huishoudservice dagelijks.
Afhankelijk van het beleid van het hotel kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.

Cavelossim Beach met het witte zand is veel rustiger dan de Goa-stranden zoals Anjuna, Calangute en Candolim. Het is een ideale plaats om te ontspannen, te zonnebaden, te zwemmen of om de verschillende watersportmogelijkheden uit te proberen. Wanneer het donker wordt, kun je een spectaculaire zonsondergang van Goa zien. Er zijn verschillende strandtenten waar je Goa-gerechten en vis en schelpdieren tegen redelijke prijzen kunt krijgen. Een verscheidenheid aan hotels en strandresorts bieden mogelijkheden voor een comfortabel verblijf bij het strand. Er zijn tevens mogelijkheden om dolfijnen te spotten.

A fantastic hotel with great staff, what a combination. Hotel is set in nice green surroundings, with a beautiful beach on your doorstep. It is approx 60 mins away from airport and other tourist parts of Goa. However once your in the hotel you wont want to or need to leave. Being a 5 star hotel, it carries a 5 star price for amenities ( so don't compare […] with rest of India) The food and restaurants at the Hotel are fantastic, was very disappointed with the local beach shacks, your better off spending your money in the hotel.., cant wait to come back asap.... "Wonderful resort!"
This was a wonderful resort- our room (with terrace) was beautiful- the resort is spacious, private and impeccably maintained. We dined almost exclusively in the main restaurant, sometimes a la carte, sometimes buffet, and it was very reasonably priced, and the standard was very high. The beach is excellent- we chose the resort in part as it's at the […] bottom of a peninsula- as a result, it's very private indeed. We would love to stay here again. "The Leela Kempinski Goa - very well managed hotel"
Very good hotel - definitely would visit it again. Good food, responsive and helpful staff, very good amenities. Great pools and landscape. Things to note: mosquitoes (be prepared).
"Amazing Hotel. Best in Goa!"
These hotel was absolutely amazing from the service to teh decor and teh staff. You were treated like royalty and definitely worth paying that little bit extra. We had the buffet 'All Measl' in our package and there was so much food that I do not think you could ever get bored. There were different varieties every day, great for veges and meat eaters […] and always somthing for the kids. The waiter and waitress' were amazing they really helped with the children during meal times so that you wee not at all uncomfortable. Swimming pool is not as big as I thought it would be for such a big hotel but I guess the beach is beautiful, clean and warm that you don't really need to use the pool that much. It you want to stay in South Goa this is the best hotel by far. The beach is also great with a variety of water sports and you can take a trip to Dolphin watch by speed boat or in a big group. Lovely lots to see. The Spa and Gym are also well equipped. They have good activities for kids in the kids club and they have free sessions for all every morning like yoga etc. * Please note that there are some renovation works going on at the moment but this part of the hotel is closed off for residancy. "The Leela Goa- Piece of Paradise"
This hotel was amazing. I was travelling on my own and was nervous about getting lost in a big hotel, but from the moment i arrived, the Leela staff did everything they could to look after me and make my stay special. It was all the little things that they do that make your trip memorable- from remembering all your likes and dislikes and pre-empting […] all your needs to going that extra mile to make sure you are completely happy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, despite being under reconstruction at the time. The beach is perfect and at your fingertips, the pool is a blissful haven, gardens to stroll in, massages to enjoy and so much food to eat!! Rooms were absolutely spotless- the shower and bathtub were a real treat after a long day at the beach. However it is the service that is the real standout. All i can say is- if you want a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle- the Leela is the place to be. Lees meer

"Great get away."
We had to change our room selection to club suite, since we did not like the constrction work which is going on.We had to pay extra per day more but it was worth every penny charged. great holidaying facilities with golf course nd private swimming pool. ovesr all great experience,We wish we were picked up at Goa airport to drive to LEELA, however hotel […] managment compensated us for that.Riverside restaurent served excellent sea food and live music. "Amazing service, but being renovated"
This hotel is located on a beautiful beach, with beautiful rooms and an amazing lobby and facilities. We stayed here with our 21 month old son and could not fault the hospitality and willingness of the staff to accommodate our every need. However, I would not again stay in a hotel which is in the process of renovation. The one half of the hotel's 70 […] odd acre site was like a building site, and local workers stared though our window from the other side of the pond which was a bit off putting. The service was amazing, but the food was mediocre for such a well known luxury hotel brand like Kempinsky and did not match the standard of the Kenyan Kempinsky at all. This hotel has good facilities for children and I would recommed staying there after renovation workes are completed in Oct/Nov 2011. Lees meer
"Leela in Goa - Good Service Great Attitude"
Hi, We were a couple who had been to 3 night stay in Leela Goa, a very big property with man made lagoon and with lush greenery around. The food was good and well served. Like any Kempenski in the world, Leela Kempenski in Goa stands up to its reputation by providing service thats accomodates & makes you comfortable. It is a good service with good attitude. […] The rates are less currently as the property is under partial removation & it is a off season in goa. The peak season been from Nov to Mar. I would highly recommend this resort hotel. Lees meer
"Outstanding service in a beautiful lush resort"
perfect balance of being attentive without being in your face. If you are travelling with young children then this hotel is the one! The food was great, the service was outstanding, nothing was too much to ask. All the staff used their initiative and were so accommodating. We couldnt buy our baby food in the shops nearby and within 30 mins room service […] appeared with a selection of blended fruits and veg for the baby. "Erholung am Badestrand"
Sehr grosse Hotelanlage mit verschiedenen Zimmerkategorien - und Preisklassen. Wir waren in einem Clubzimmer ohne Pool. Der Club besitzt ein eigener Pool und Strandabschnitt. Empfehlung: Lagoon Deluxe Suite ist fast gleich komfortabel - aber mit enormen Preisunterschied!

Отель шикарный. Абсолютно все соответствует заявленному уровню. Кроме одного. Обычно в подобных отелях на завтрак подают шампанское, а в номера каждый день подают свежие фрукты.

"The Leela Goa"
Dyrare hotell men var riktigt skönt att bo där i slutet av indien resan. Allting var rent och fräscht och rummet var grymt fint. Kunde ligga i badkaret och kolla på tv:n genom ett fönster, högtalare fanns även i badrummet. Maten var riktigt dyr (med indiska mått mätt) och inte alls bra på hotellet. Vi åt på hotellet en gång för att sedan gå efter stranden […] och äta på restaurangerna som alldeles bredvid. Där hittade man bra mat som var i klass med övriga restauranger som vi ätit på under vår resa. Så för att sammanfatta: Dyrare hotell men mycket lyxigt med rena och fräscha rum och privat strand. Maten var riktigt dyr på hotellet men man kan hitta annan mat efter stranden. Perfekt som avslut på er indienresa. Lees meer

We came expecting an exclusive, reclusive romantic getaway, what we found was a family friendly ressort geared very much towards kids.
