Comfort Inn Oxford in Oxford

I felt the room was nice, but for the price in a small town it was overpriced. Additionally, there were several out of order signs in the hotel. The pool, the only working ice maker was on the 3rd floor, and the "business friendly" printer was out of order. The room was small, and I think for the price it was not worth it.

The only negative was that the bathroom sink leaked.

Very easy to get to Miami Univ. Very clean with a comfortable bed. The toilet bolt to the floor was coming loose. I forgot to tell front desk about that. But the room was great, reasonable and I'd stay there again.

We had decided to spend a little more because earlier during our trip we had a bad experience. We got a room with a jacuzzi which ended up having hair in it and looked unclean. The sheets on the bed also contained hair and had holes all over. Unfortunately we were exhausted and went to bed when in reality we should have complained to see if the issues […] could have been resolved, but with only a few hours to sleep before getting back on the road it wasn't worth it. All in all the room was extremely disappointing. On top of it the breakfast in the morning was disgusting as well. Avoid this hotel if at all possible. Lees meer

The hotel was great -- clean, comfortable, good shower, a very short ride to town and Miami of Ohio. The only inconvenience was two desk clerks had absolutely no knowledge of directions-- however, they were very pleasant and tried to be helpful . We had a very pleasant experience. Room was clean and well appointed.

I was only there overnight but it was fabulous. I would stay there again. It is very close to my final destination which was perfect. I think the price is a little bit high. The last time I stayed in Oxford I stayed somewhat of a distance away and it was difficult for me to get where I was going without getting up earlier than I wanted to. The ice machine, the hot tub and the tread mill were all out of service the night we were there. The water in the pool was very cold. The light switch in one of our bathrooms was broken. There were also dirty socks under one of the beds. The location was great!

Had to have a wake-up call because we could not set the clock radio.

A top notch staff that is interested in making your stay enjoyable. An early check-in combined with a bit of local navigation was appreciated. A true asset to this small town and the top notch institution it supports. Thank you.

Needed a hotel for a one night stay. Found everything very nice for the rate. Breakfast and room were better than expected and we will definitely stay there again.

The female staff was very friendly. The rooms were small and seemed crowded with the double beds. There was also trash between the bed and nightstand. One of the blankets had stains and housing keeping never came into the room. The trash cans were over flowing and ice machine was broken. In addition the jacuzzi was faulty.

Considering the choices are limited in Oxford, this was surprisingly nice. Just on the outskirts of town, you are easily 5-10 minutes from every Miami University location. My only complaint is that the mattress was too soft for my liking.

The proximity to Miami is the best! Staff very welcoming, room ready on time and beds so comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was hot and filling.

I went into hotel at 11 at night. No attendant around. Waited for about 5 min to discover she was outside smoking. :(

Really good value for money. The beds are indeed very comfortable. The morning breakfast fare left a little to be desired though. But I'd definitely stay here again.

I stayed there a week with a colleague and for the most part it was good, the room was very comfortable and clean but we had some serious issues with the wireless Internet. Some of the staff was also not very personable, I don't know if I'd go as far as to say rude, but short and brisk for sure, would it kill them to smile?

My bathtub wasn't very clean but when I asked for it to be cleaned it was done.

Alma Mata is Oxford University UK and just had to visit Oxford US and its Miami University. Students had already left for the summer and Summer School had yet to start. Place near deserted as was the restaurant which came recommended by hotel and worth the very short drive. Staff were courteous and very helpful. Big rooms, close to town. You can walk to campus, although it's easier to drive into town. Very close to grocery store and big discount store. Staff is great....ample parking too!

Like all three hotels in Oxford, this one was pricey for the overal quality of the room. I travel for business and have spent less money in both NYC and DC for lodging. However, other than the price, there wasn't much to complain about. The mattresses and bedding are not by any means deluxe, but they were clean. We were in town for a funeral, the hotel was much more than we expected. Very comfortable and clean, and inexpensive. The stafff were extremely polite and helpful. Thank you Confort Inn.

I've stayed at this hotel several times and find it very comfortable. It is close to Miami University and the staff are very welcoming.

Quiet and comfortable bad. It is a pretty nice spot to stay.

Very nice stay in a convenient hotel. Breakfast was good and the room was very nice. Would stay here again without reservation.

I highly recommend this hotel. Our room was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. The beds and linens were so comfortable that we had a completely restful night's sleep. Breakfast was provided the next morning in a well-kept dining area. The hotel is clean and tastefully decorated, and the staff very pleasant. At approximately 9-10 pm on the last night of our stay, there was a malfunction with the fire alarm system. In itself, not really a big deal. However, no attempt was made to inform guests that this was occurring. It was not until we called down to the front desk and inquired that we were told what was going on. Furthermore, the malfunction shut down […] elevator operations. Again, not really a big deal, but elevator operations were not restored by the time we checked out the next afternoon. There is no reason that this should have been the case. All in all a disappointing stay. Lees meer
