Prima ligging, 6 minuten met shuttlebus van Airport. Leuk zicht op zowel Mnt Hood als Mnt St. Helens. Perfecte aanrijroute met behulp van navigatie. zowel vanuit Oost als West.
Ligging.
Briarwood Suites ligt in Oost-Portland in Portland, dicht bij Mt Tabor Park, Reed College en Crystal Springs Rhododendrontuin. Bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving zijn onder andere Grotto en Museum van Wetenschap en Industrie in Oregon.
Accommodatievoorzieningen.
De accommodatie beschikt over een een businesscentrum. Gasten krijgen gratis ontbijt. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een wasserij en gratis kranten in de lobby. Gasten kunnen gratis parkeren.
Hotelkamers.
Briarwood Suites heeft 39 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een gratis krant en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Elke kamer is voorzien van een inbelverbinding. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel en een internetverbinding via tv (toeslag).
Elke kamer heeft een magnetron en een koelkast. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een föhn en een klokradio. Op de kamers van Briarwood Suites mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.

"The Briarwood Suites in Portland Oregon"
This hotel is what you expect for two stars. The price was good and the beds were comfortable. The front desk clerk gave us a quiet room and was very friendly on checkin. The rooms looked clean, but there were some hairs on the floor of the bathroom and on the blanket. The continental breakfast was very basic but again, it is a two star hotel.

"Great place for the price"
We stayed here due to the proximity to Community Music Center. It was nothing fancy. It was clean and suited our needs. Very quiet which was nice. Would use again if we needed to be in this part of Portland.

"Hole in the wall hotel"
Would never ever stay at this place again!!!! So many rules!!! Hole in the wall hotel rooms stink!!! Fridge didn't work steps going up to my rooom was broken they have 1 iron for the whole hotel!!!! Don't stay here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Briarwood Suites--Used to be Shabby but Clean"
This was the third time I have stayed here, because it is the most convenient hotel for my purposes. It is shabby, but the rooms are big, it was always pretty clean, and the staff is extremely nice. However, this time I was shocked by the poor housekeeping and, if I hadn't paid in advance, would have left after the first night. Really gross things, […] like evidence that the bedding hadn't been changed before I got there. Also long, wavy hairs in the bathroom, and a toilet that still had some of the pinkish cleaning solution on it, meaning that the job hadn't been finished. Lees meer
Found Pornos in the room where my 7 year old son was to sleeping. The room was dirty the sheets were dirty and stained. It was all and all gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Briarwood is pet friendly - very important to us. We stayed 5 days over the Christmas holiday. The rooms are a little dated and they are a little lean on supplies (ie coffee for coffee maker) and breakfast if that's your thing but our room was roomy, warm, comfortable and clean. One thing they should do is use real door numbers (currently duct tape) […] but staff is friendly and there is a microwave and refrigerator so you can store and prepare food and beverages. Also the water was good (out of the tap) - so many places have that chemical smell / taste but not there. We'll stay again if our son stays where he is. Lees meer

"BRIARWOOD SUITES......NO GOOD"
THE STAFF WAS VERY RUDE. THE ROOM WAS LARGE BUT THERE WERE NO TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM AND NO COFFEE TO MAKE IN THE ROOM. INSTEAD OF FINDING A BIBLE IN THE DRAWER I FOUND CONDOMS (THANKFULLY NOT USED) THE FOOD THEY OFFER IN THE MORNING WAS NASTY AND OVER ALL I WOULD NEVER STAY THER AGAIN.....DID I SAY THE STAFF WAS RUDE????

"Not too shabby, but breakfast is a joke!"
The hotel room was spacious and clean for the most part, though I wouldn't suggest looking under the couch cushions. You can definitely hear foot traffic up and down the hall upstairs, but other than that pretty quiet. The staff was friendly and even arranged to get a cab for me. The breakfast they advertise is a joke at best. You're better off buying […] a few items at a grocery store and storing them in the mini-fridge. Overall not a bad place to stay! Lees meer

"Price is not all there is"
I have to admit, I booked this hotel because it was inexpensive, but I didn't realize it was " so cheap". The owner(s) didn't invest in room maintenance to the extent that they replaced room numbers with duct tape. Couch was shabby and I didn't feel comfortable sitting it. I should have done more research before booking this hotel. If price is an issue […] and you only want a place to sleep, then this might be right for you. If you want more amenities and better looking accommodations, look elsewhere and spend more money. That's all. Lees meer

Service was friendly and rooms were pretty clean. The bathroom floor could have used some more attention, but the rest of the room was OK. About what I expected for the $.
"Mixed Feelings"
The hotel covered the basics for me in that there was free wireless internet, free parking, and a minimal breakfast. Also, the employees were as nice as they could be, and the room was of decent size. Just unfortunate that the hotel is somewhat run down and in a seedy neighborhood. "Briarwood Suites - good size, terrible breakfast"
The room was big. Had a lounge-area. The room was clean. Breakfast was coffee, juice and muffins. Not what europeans would call a continental breakfast. 15 min drive to downtown Portland. Nice place to stay on a tight budget.
