Koude douche in de ochtend en schuine wand die rechtop staan belemmerd.

Het lijkt erop dat de locatie, midden in de europeesche wijk, ervoor zotgt dat dit hotel toch wel vol zit, ook al zijn de faciliteiten beperkt en zelfs onverzorgd. In de parkeergarage is nauwelijks plek omdat het meer een opslagplaats lijkt te zijn. Veel van de kamers hebben geen airconditioning, heb daardoor geen oog dicht gedaan door de hitte. Forced to stay at this hotel as others booked up in the area. I had heard bad reports from colleagues and they were right. Rude service, no telephone in room, minibar empty, wifi not working and in spite of price saying "includes taxes" they insisted on charging me an extra 11 Euros.

The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful... close to the subway... although they do NOT have an airport shuttle like they say in the description... you have to take a bus for 3.50 euros. But overall a great place to stay!

The hotel has a very good location if you want to be close to the EU quarters. It is easy to get there via bus or subway, the room was clean, in good condition, rather big and reasonably priced. On the negative side: everything costs extra in this hotel. Breakfast is extra and expensive, internet is extra and expensive (the free internet in the lobby […] never worked), not even coffee was complimentary in the room. But if you only want to sleep in a good room close to the EU-buildings, then this hotel is ok. Lees meer

Was allocated a smoking room when I ordered a non-smoking room. I understand that 2 floors of the hotel are allocated to smokers.

First time in this hotel although I always stay in this part of town. It was a freezing night and I was looking forward to a warm room. It wasn't to be! Alarms bells rang when guests were complaining at check in that they needed heaters in their room. Arrived at mine and it was lukewarm, with ice on the inside windows behind the curtains. I braved it. […] Reported it in the morning and not even an apology. Long line of guests checking out with only one member of staff. Everyone in front of me complaining. City tax not included in the hotel rate so you get a surprise when you check out. When ckecking in (2 pm) and out (12 am) there is a huge line of people waiting because there is only one person working at the reception.

The hotel was a major improvement to the one i stayed in the previous two nights. on the whole it was a lovely hotel, the room was comfortable, warm and clean. i was very pleased with the location, in that it was walking distance from some lovely restaurants. i would suggest that when customers are checking in that you be careful about the days that […] you are there...notably the restaurants etc...close on sundays. also i had to let the staff at reception know if i wanted breakfast the following morning which was no problem at all. i was pleased that the staff were english speaking as i am not a good french speaker. location to public transport is ideal and the street the hotel is on is very scenic and quiet...away, but not too much, from the hustle and bustle. i was very pleased with the overall aspects of the hotel. The hotel is trying to be top class, but it is not. Internet only works sometimes and if you sit at the desk without heavy curtains closed and a thick jacket on, the wind coming through the closed windows will make you sick.

During my last stay the hotel telephone did not work, I had to use my mobile phone to contact the reception desk. Contacting the reception desk was requested to get access to internet. But then I was told that the technical problems with my phone and internet access could not be solved before the general manager arrived. Jet of water (Shower) on the […] 7th floor is very weak. This hotel is by far the lovliest hotel I have stayed at on my trip, and with competitive prices. It was a little walk out of the city centre, but It was worth it for the comfort, cleanlieness and safety of the surrounding neightborhood, easy to get to the nearest metro station, gettng to and from the hotel is easy. =)

This is an awful hotel, the word new in the name is a little deceiving, I am guessing it was new in 1970. The rooms and bathrooms are awful, cramped, musty, really several decades since they were last decorated, bathrooms are really bad. To put it in prospective I would recommend that you bring slippers because you would not want to touch anything […] in there unnecessarily. Nice hotel, well situated. Breakfast was not included and was very expensive (22 euros) so I skipped that. Nearby cafes are good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The airconditioner/heater was very load so I had to turn it off when I went to sleep. Phone in room was broken... Service at the reception was mediocre. The hotel bar was very expensive, […] 5 euros for a glass of beer and 11 euros for a whisky. Many good pubs around so look for them instead. They try to cheat you at "happy hour" not giving you the advertised 50% discount... In conclusion. If you don't have to rely on the front desk, don't eat breakfast at the hotel and don't drink at the hotel bar the hotel is very nice. A 4 star hotel, i think not... Lees meer

the hotel is in a brilliant location, although i find that the quality is patchy. Check-in was late, and there were a number of standard services failures: the buttons on the phone for room service did not connect me, the number for room service was not written anywhere so i had to go back down to reception to order. I got the impression the only things that were clean in the room was the towels and the sheets. Way to expensive i would rate as a two star hotel, Needs to be refurbished the white paint is going yellow! Will i say here next time i am in brussels..no

Great location near the EU offices at Berlaymont and the whole EU district in Brussels. Staff very helpful and area is quiet on the weekends. The only negative is that air conditioning/heaing is not controlled from each room but only from the front desk and only by the calendar. A very common policy throughout all of Europe BTW.

The hotel location is great...bars, restaurants and terasses nearby for soaking up the sun. The room was made up well every day and fresh towels provided. There is also car-parking which was useful. The staff were swift and efficient on check-in and check-out. Having said that, we would never stay here again as the room had no air-conditioning and temperatures […] were 28-30°C making the room totally unsuitable for our infant. We couldn't relax in the room and had to constantly venture out for comfort. They also need to wash the calcium from the showerhead of their shower and replace their travelcot with one that isn't torn and shabby. Lees meer

Not impressed by the attituide of the night staff. Some of the day staff very nice, but after hours its different

Our 2nd stay at this hotel, 1st time was penthouse suite so staying in ordinary room disappointing. To order food a little expensive as we think they order it out, even though they have a diningroom available. Breakfast really expensive. Conveniently located to metro station only a couple of stops away from town. Good restaurants very close by.

Firstly they didn't seem to have my booking. I informde them had booked on line and they then found the booking. I got the worst room in the hotel. One of the windows was brokjen and wouldn't close. I spent the night cold and listening to the traffic, no way you would sleep it out. I couldn't stand in the showher because of alack of space and there […] was no shower curtain, i spent ten minutes mopping up the floor. I complained and they took n noticve, Don't stay in room 804 or the Hotel. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Lees meer

the room was very clean and comfortable, and in an excellent location for meetings at the European Commission.

Modern hotel. Managed to get an upgraded room and a discount from this website. Didn't use the restaurant. Has a few nice restaurants and bars around the area. Right on the doorstep of the EU buildings and the old city felt very accessible from the hotel - we usually just walked down Loi.

Hotellet låg perfekt för det vi behövde göra i Bryssel. Bra hotellrum till bra pris.eftersom jag visste att det finns olika skatter kollade jag specifikt efter det på internetsidan...stod att alla skatter var inkluderade men vi fick i alla fall betala skatt till Bryssel stad..Däremot ser receptionen väldigt tråkig ut(subjektivt) och även om vi velat […] äta frukost höll de på med en renovering av matsal...plus att jag fick handtaget till rummet i handen när vi skulle gå ut...men kan rekommendera det om ni hittar det till bra pris igen annars väldigt dyrt. J'étais déçu car les photos sont très différente de la réalité. Les chambres confort sont spacieuse mais pas top. Le personnel est très sympa. Heureusement que je suis partie en période de promotion. Car je trouve qu'il est excessivement chère et qu'il ne vaut pas un 4étoiles. Par contre le service HOTELS.COM sont très efficace et agréable.

Seulement deux nuits dans cet hôtel, mais tout a été parfait. La chambre était agréable et la grande salle de bain dotée d'une douche et d'une baignoire. Pratique lorsqu'on veut tous être prêts assez rapidement ! Pas de restaurant dans l'hôtel, mais plusieurs aux alentours. Quartier calme donc nuits paisibles.

L'hotel est bien situé mais les chambres et le mobilier est tres vieux. Ma chambre n'avait ni coffre-fort ni minibar! Pour moi, l'hotel est plutot un 3 etoiles et ne merite pas la 4ieme. Ceci dit, le personnel etait tres aimable. Le rappirt quakite prix etait correct mais on peut trouver bcp mieux pour un petit peu plus.

Hotel un peu vieillot, la chambre mériterait un rafraichissement. Le wifi et ma commande TV ne marchaient pas. L'avantage est sa proximité de Schuman.
