Ohne hotel Sacher ist Wien kein Wien mehr ! Een hotel met allure en grote traditie. Alleen al de lobby is al de moeite waard om te zien en beleven. De locatie is zeer gunstig, de gezellige binnenstadt en de chique winkelstraat en vele bezienswaardigheden zijn binnen handbereik.

There is too much to say about how wonderful this hotel is. Every aspect was top notch. My wife who visits many of 5 star hotel was in love with Hotel Sacher . We are already planning a return trip during summer , many thanks to Hotel Sacher and it's employees!

Excellent quality throughout, great location, and Sacher Torte (with whipped cream of course) for breakfast. We stayed there for 5 days, and it was wonderful.

Our stay was perfect. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the location is excellent. The breakfast buffet was average and it can have more variety. Also there is no inside access to the Sacher cafe from inside the hotel, so you have to go out and then back in.

Great hotel, charming and with a lot of character. The location is ideal to visit the historical centre of Vienna as it is a step away from the Opera State Theatre, the Albertina, the Hofsburg palace. Not to mention the delicious Sacher Torte!

Everything about this hotel was marvellous,especially the concierge service which was particularly good (Florian went out of his way to be helpful). We would like to comment on the excellent housekeeping staff and the exceptional friendliness and helpfulness of all staff. Thisis a superb hotel in a very convenient position. Staff were very helpful and obtained tickets for us to otherwise "Sold Out" events. The Hotel also arranged for us to attend the KaiserBall on New Year's Eve at the Hofburg Palace. This was an amazing "once in a lifetime" experience which we would not have known about except for the hotel staff advising […] us when we booked. Well... serious mixed feelings. I travel a lot, always 5star hotels. Spend the last 14 days travelling in Europe, only in 5*hotels, so easy to compare... About the room: my room was not a 5* room. Not by far. I stayed in Sacher last week (april 2011), room 208. Unfortunately, still one of the 'old' rooms. They are redecorating now, and I can only say: […] they started to late... About room 208: 1. One of the plastic-kind curtains was torn completely on the side 2. very very small tv, no entertainment system 3. very unconventient bathroom: not much space to put toothbrush, razors,... NO separate shower: tip for management: try standing in the bathtub and then unfold the horrific plastic screen in order to shower. Try it! Don't recommend that on anyone over 50... I have to say, seen pics of the new rooms, and they look fine, not to say: very, very nice! but... that is not where I stayed, so I can only comment on my room, and I'm afraid room 208 is more of a good 3* hotel, or might be a 4*, but certainly NOT 5*. Sorry! About the rest of the hotel: Well... did not see many businessmen, mostly elder couples celebrating a once-in-a-lifetime-experience. They propably give high ratings cause maybe they are easier to please or they have less other hotels to compare with. It is all very 'posh'... If you arrive on a weekend (like I did, stayed till wednesday), be sure to bring a suit or a toxedo, cause otherwise, you might feel a bit out of place... They have two restaurants, all in the very well known 'old grandeur' style. Went to the red one (at the front). At first, being alone I did not feel so comfortable going there: like I said, not much bussinesmen, but mostly couples enjoying a romantic-but-very-formal evening. But I have to say: the maitre was very friendly, so were the waiters, and the food & champagne was super!!!! Breakfast is also in one of the very formal rooms. The Hotel Sacher Wien is a centrally located older hotel which is maintained in beautiful condition. It is a good base for business persons who have meetings and appointments around the city. The hotel staff is superb. The concierge service is the best anywhere! There is also a good, though small, fitness centre in the hotel. Superb customer service - helpful and polite staff overall. Much better than the boutique hotels in the US. Wonderful, though pricey brunch (includes array of their desserts plus the infamous sacher torte). Surprise bonus -- very close to the Karlsplatz metro, which took us everywhere. Olimme top deluxe huoneessa ja se oli todella hieno, avara ja siisti sekä juuri remontoitu. Ainoa mikä puuttui huoneesta oli kahvin/vedenkeitin. Hotelli itsessään historiallinen ja hieno sekä keskellä kaikkea. Jos illalla menee syömään hotellin Anna Sacher ravintolaan niin muistakaa ottaa mukaan puku tai pikkutakki ja naiselle pikkumusta tai iltapuku. […] Ainoa pieni miinus oli hotellin aamiainen joka oli hinnaltaan 35 euroa/hlö. オペラ座の真横でオペラにいくのに最適。中心部に近い。誰に聞いても知っているのでホテルにものを届けてもらうにも便利。いつも入り口に従業員さんがいて安心感があります。朝食は卵料理はあまりおいしくありませんでしたが、ヨーグルトと杏のコンポートはおいしかったです。毎日は食べませんでした。

どうしても一泊だけと思い予約して宿泊しました。小さいけれどサービスの行き届いてしかも優しいまさに天国のようなホテルです。グレードアップしてもらったスイートも広くてすばらしかったです。ウェルカムフルーツとチョコで迎えてもらい、帰るときもチョコのプレゼント。アメニティの石けんもリンスとシャンプーもチョコ。カフェザッハーには、コンシェルジュに一言いえば、長い列には並ばず入れます。朝食の水に、ミントやレモン入り水の他、なぜか石がはいっている（血液の循環を高めるらしい）水があって驚愕。初めて見た。近代的な新しいホテルにはない、かわいらしさと歴史を感じさせる内装ですが、古さは感じない、ウィーン観光と地続きの時間が味わえるとっても素敵なホテルです。
