Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista

Het hotel ziet er met name buiten erg mooi en goed onderhouden uit. Binnen moet je smaak zijn. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam! De shuttle service is ook goed te doen. Meestal hoef je niet lang te wachten op een bus naar een van de parken. De kamer zag er netjes uit, maar er word gedurende het verblijf niet schoongemaakt (alleen […] je bed word opgemaakt). De afstand van de lobby naar de kamer was lang lopen wat vervelend is als je al een hele dag en/of avond in een park hebt gelopen. Verder zag het restaurant er niet fris uit. Heb er 1 keer gegeten. Het eten smaakte prima, maar de tafels plakte enzo. Ik had gezien de prijs meer verwacht van dit resort met name m.b.t. de hygiëne. Ik zal dit resort in ieder geval niet meer boeken. Lees meer

The stay was fine. I was not on vacation. The location is ideal for people on vacation. In my case I had to travel to another hotel (Dolphin Resorts) for the business meetings. The main thing inconvenient for me (strictly my opinion) the distance from my room to the main Office; hopefully a running cart around the location could be helpful to people […] who are physically challenged! I booked a king room for a weekend getaway for me and my wife. from the moment we arrived they went out of their way to make our stay "magic". It was quite, the room was very clean and all the staff were very accommodating. The only thing I would warn people about are the golf carts. When you here one coming, get out of the way.

Great place to stay - quiet, grounds are perfect, great atmosphere. The food was excellent. The gym was great and easy to access. We had an absolute great time! Highly recommended.

Staying on Disney property is the only way to go. The organization of the shuttle service for Coronado made our trip very stress free. We used the round trip shuttle twice per day and waited only one time for more than 10 minutes. The shuttle to and from the airport was the icing on the cake. The resort is big and surrounds a lake with a great pool […] system. We used the quieter pool and totally relaxed. Pack your snacks and beverages if possible, a beer at the pool with tip is $8.73. This is a very nice hotel on Disney property. It has easy shuttles to all the Disney parks, which is very convenient. The main pool area is very fun and interesting, but the hotel grounds are extensive, so it's quite a walk to get there. The restaurants were nice, nothing overly exciting, but fine. One big problem we had was that the beverage machines […] in out building were both out of order for our whole stay, so we had to actually travel to get something to drink. The hotel informed us that these were serviced by outside vendors and that there was nothing they could do about them, but I would suggest they find new vendors, as this was very annoying. Lees meer

While the lobby and surrounding areas were nice, the room looked like it hadn't been updated in quite some time. Overall, it seemed to be overpriced. (Then again - this is Disney.) Also, the food choices at the hotel were limited. The Pepper Market (lower cost option, buffet style) looked like bad high school cafeteria food. I couldn't eat it. The […] Maya Grill (Mexican-based cuisine) was okay. But, I wouldn't want to eat there more than once. And, rainy days (with children) do occur, limiting accessibility to off-site restaurants. Showed up at the hotel to find out two conventions were there concurrent with our stay. One of the conventions resulted in nearly 1/2 of the parking spaces being occupied by exhibitor's tents. In addition Disney Marathon was also being held the same weekend. This was complicated by the fact the NBA All-Star game was in Orlanda and Daytona 500 were both […] held that weekend. I understand some of these things are not Disney's fault but the staff should have been more accomodating, imo. Parking staff treated us rudely. Recieved conflicting information from staffers. Notification was not given to guests of marathon and convention until the next before the events. A typical Disney property, designed to make you want to get out of it, & then ideally into a Disney money spinner. Concierge only book Disney activities or trips etc For the size of the hotel the food choice is very poor. I first stayed here 10 years ago & the only change is that the TVs have been updated to flat screens

if you will restrict your activity inside the disney park, then the disney resorts are your best choice. The bed is very big, considering the maximum 4 guests, the hotel is not so expensive. Free wireless, easy access to all the disney park, and also free parking inside the park, save you a lot of time and money. The staff is very friendly and helpful. But […] if you will also visit other places as shopping in the outlet, you may considering hotel a little bit far away. Very nice hotel. Upon check in we got a preferred room which I didn't even have to ask for. Room was a standard room with 2 queen beds in it but the location was wonderful. We have stayed here before and noticed a significant decline in quality since our last trip here. The room was not clean - nor was cleaned adequately during our stay. However upon checkout the manager seemed very sincere in rectifying the situation. This was a very beautiful hotel and my room was on the water. It was quiet, clean and the staff were very friendly. The only thing I did not like is that there were not enough places to get a good cup of coffee, or something to eat late. Took me about 20 minutes to locate my room and the room directional placards were not very helpful. Great place to […] relax, unwind and get away. The other thing I detested was that I was attending a conference at the Swan and there was no shuttle and there was no inexpensive way to get to and from the two hotels. It is great to stay on property and use the buses to go everywhere. Very quiet hotel, a convention hotel, so a little more business like than some other properties.

The toiletries were half used and someone else's food was left in the fridge. There were also straight pins and change left on the floor and we were traveling with an infant. We were not happy!

Room AC needs work; humidity problem. Housekeeping could have been better. A basic place to shower and sleep. 2.5 to 3 stars out of 5.

The hotel was great, we requested room near bus stop, this made it easier to get on and off bus when going to all 4 Disney theme Parks as well as Downtown Disney. The pool was also great, my 3 year old loved going down the slide.

hotel room was gloomy and dark. Balcony was not private , but a thoroughfare. outside is dirty and need painting

My husband and I stayed at the Coronado Springs Hotel when I attended a conference that was held at the Swan and Dolphin. I was so glad I chose to stay at Coronado Springs. We stayed in the Cabanas and the hotel was running a surprise, special Concierge Service. There was a lounge right near out room where hotel "hosts and hostesses" pampered us with […] complimentary continental breakfast, snacks and beverages all day and wine and cheese and crackers, etc. in the evening. All staff was extremely helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. The pools were beautifully maintained, the gym had all new equipment although it was a bit small. A nice touch was the availability of hammocks on a sand beach by the water- so relaxing. The grounds were beautiful, the meal at the Pepper Market Restaurant was first rate although the choices are limited. When I went over to the Swan and Dolphin for my conference, I was hyper-stimulated by the glitz and all the activity. I was so glad to go back to the Coronado at the end of the day! We asked for a quiet room and it was extremely quiet and overlooked a beautiful pond. A nice element that seems somewhat unique to this hotel is that they have a pool geared towards children and then some lovely pools that are pretty much reserved for adults. The only drawback to someone who might be attending a conference is that it takes ~ 30 minutes to get over to some of the other hotels using free Disney transportation, but we had a car so it was only a 5 minute trip. Coronado Springs has a great location close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios - waits for the bus were faily quick and rides were short. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. I will say our view/location was not the beat, looking out at the parking lot and right next to a bank of hvac fans alwaya droning. We were rarely in the room so it didn't matter […] for us. The hotel description was wonderful. In actuality it was a motel 6 with bad decorations.

The Coronado is huge and is generally a reasonable hotel. Some members of the staff had an attitude problem. The worst thing was the food. Simply not of high quality. They favor quantity over quality and the service is very slow. We felt trapped without a vehicle. It is best to have a car so that you could go outside of the confines and eat better food […] at more reasonable prices. Lees meer

Awesome, three nights, friendly atmosphere and the very best is they will do the airline check in for you...so, no need to check in your luggage at the airport...hazzle free...love it, definitely will be back to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.. Keep it up guys...

My family and I stayed here the week before Christmas, and we had a pretty great experience. Staff was friendly and courteous, housekeeping was very attentive. There were no upgrades available, so we were stuck with a queen bed. Be warned though- this is not a traditional hotel with indoor hallways- the rooms are all motel-style, so when you leave your […] room you go straight outdoors. All of the economy and mid-level resorts are this way. Rooms inside are nice though, definitely higher than motel quality. The resort has a pretty decent bus system- we were in the Ranchos, 7b, and we had a 30 second walk to the bus stop, which was nice. Unless you are doing something at the convention area, don't pay extra for the preferred rooms, you are really just throwing away money to be closer to the convention area. Be warned about the bus though- the bus picks up at 4 first, then 3, 2, and then 1. So if you are waiting at stop 1 on a crowded day, you will probably be standing for the bus ride to Dworld (which can be a good 20 minutes). However, most of the time the buses are not very full and there is plenty of room to sit down (this is not true when the park is extremely crowded, like around 4th of July or Christmas). Last thing- buses usually run every 15 mins or so, we never waited more than 15 mins for a bus, and if you wait longer than that, there is a phone at the bus stop you can use to call for the bus you need. Overall, I do highly recommend this resort- it is huge, beautiful, and nicely kept. Price is pretty decent as well, esp. in off season. Lees meer

We liked the stay and the property but I didnt get the view I paid for. I paid extra for a good view and they were "sold out". They did give a mere $25 credit. I would prefer a better view since thats what I paid for instead of $25 credit. I had no choice. BEWARE!!! Disney seems to be setting a trend in not providing what we book, so be insistent and […] stand up for yourself :-) They tried this same trick at the Swan resort and I had to complain and then they gave me the resort view with balcony. Prior to that, they put me in the back with the balcony covered by a tree so we couldnt see much. Lees meer

Pleasant staff, clean room but very old and out dated. "Water view" was highly misleading. There was a pool visible outside the room when you leaned around a concrete wall.

The room was VERY small, VERY overpriced -- and handicapped - which I did not ask for. There were 2 adults in the room, and 1 chair. The room was VERY dark, which made it very difficult to get enough light to put on makeup. It was also sorta depressing. The ONE nice thing about it was it was next to the pool. We booked the room through hotels.com at what we think was a great rate for a moderate Disney Hotel. You can get a lower rate outside Disney, but we think that the extra amount is worth it for the following reasons: 1. On site transportation, as advertised we waited no more than 20 min for a bus, that way Dad gets a break from driving, 2. The Disney […] Company really does try to make your stay great. Air Canada lost one of our suitcases, but right off the bat it was Disney that helped us out with some items to tide us over until we got the bag. On the other hand Air Canada just wanted to question us to see if we somehow messed up tagging the bags, something that they did. 3. The room and service was great, a couple of times we were late getting out of the room and the cleaning staff were polite and quickly adjusted their schedule. 4. The room was clean and well maintained. 5. Food is expensive, but by having breakfast in the room with food from the nearby Dixie-Wynn we offset some of those expenses. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort provides easy access to all the theme parks and has great ambience to boot! The beautiful main pool with water slide, hot tub, snack bar, playground, volley ball court and more is fun for all ages and managed in the true Disney fashion (e.g. movie night at the pool, etc.) A diversity of restaurants is available, including […] a great buffet (great for the kids) and slightly more upscale setting. Situated on several beautiful ponds, the hotel provides a lovely setting and is fun to stroll. All in all, a wonderful getaway. Lees meer

Kind of a quiet getaway in the middle of it all. - Good food (both at the food court and Maya Grill) - Good service - Clean room - Clean grounds - Lots of food options - Lots of entertainment options - They don't nickel and dime you. You really get a good value for your money at this resort. We are definitely going back and spending more time!
