The Dana on Mission Bay in San Diego

Ligt op loopafstand van Sea World (gaat ook een shuttle bus van het hotel). Oude, kleine en slecht onderhouden kamers. Kan in deze klasse betere hotels krijgen. Ligging, restaurant en zwembad wel prima.

Prima hotel en centraal gelegen. 10 Minuten loopafstand van Seaworld. Je kunt ook gebruik maken van de gratis shuttle. Wij hadden een De luxe Bay view Special Bed & Breakfast geboekt. We konden voor 15 dollar per persoon kiezen van de menukaart. Het ontbijt en de service waren prima.

Wij waren bijzonder tevreden van dit hotel. De kamer was wel basic, maar toch goed. Je komt uiteraard niet om op je kamer de vakantie door te brengen. Vrijwel alles ligt hier ongeveer 10 a 15 min rijden vandaan, vandaar de goede locatie. Personeel is hier zeer vriendelijk en bereid om u van uitleg te bedienen bij de minste vraag die je stelt. Je krijgt […] er zelfs een papier waar alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden op staan met adres waar je moet zijn, handig voor mensen die een gps hebben. Wat San Diego betreft, man dat is daar mooi. Voor ons ongetwijfeld de mooiste stad die we al gezien hebben. Een proper en moderne stad, en al dat groen. Voor zo weinig regen te hebben op een jaar( +- 5 dagen). altijd schijnt de zon daar. Ong. gemiddeld 25graden, wat moet je meer. Voor mensen die graag salsa dansen, je kan er elke dag naar een party gaan. Voor ons was het top. Lees meer

Dit hotel is zijn prijs meer dan waard. We hadden het bed + breakfast package gekozen (je kon een ontbijt kiezen tot 15 USD per persoon). De kamer gaf uit op de baai en de kamer is extreem ruim en netjes. We hebben tweemaal dinner gedaan met roomservice en het eten was lekker naar Belgische normen! We had a wonderful time at the Dana. I loved where it was located and it was so nice and clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to someone else, and we will stay there again for sure!

Me and the family went to sea world so we stayed at the Dana. Nice hotel a little out dated the rooms look like an apartment building from the outside but nice and cozy from within. The pools where nice the view of the docks where pretty cool and the staff was really friendly and great at attending our needs.

The views are incredible. The room is top notch in every way. The location is within walking distance of Sea World (10 minutes by foot, 2 minutes by car) and they offer a shuttle service to Sea World. The pool is heated and very large. Enjoyed our stay at the Dana being located on Mission Bay right next to Sea World. The Blue Pearl restaurant at the hotel was reasonably priced with good food . Loved being next to the marina and away from downtown.

This is a very well maintained resort/hotel with nice pools. It sits next to one of the many Park/Beaches on Mission Bay and was fun to watch all the Bonfires light up the Parks in the evening. It was also cool to see groups of people doing Yoga in the Park in the morning. Working out in small groups in parks or on the beach seems to be very popular […] in San Diego and La Jolla. Both the Firefly and Blue Pearl restauraunts were great. The Steak Sandwhich at the Firefly and the Fried Chicken at Blue Pearl were my favorite. Overall I was nicely surprised by this Hotel. Close to mission and pacific beaches (we biked there), short cab ride to downtown San Diego, and immediately next to Sea World. Our stay was as expected, however we did not spend much time in the room. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great, except for the seemingly snooty undertones. There seem to be only a few amenities and […] the hotel itself seems to be a glorified motel. We had a great time, but it was mainly because of our absence from the room. If you want a place to sleep and a great location, this is your place. If you'd like a few more creature-comforts and plan to spend a lot of time in the room; I'd choose elsewhere. Lees meer

Only stayed one night but I was very impressed by their service. We had just gotten engaged the night before and they had accidentally reserved us a room with two beds. They upgraded us to a view room free of charge. Room was very nice with vaulted beamed ceilings. We stayed four nights. Only a mile away from Sea World and just a few more from the zoo. The bed was most comfortable we have ever slept in at a hotel. Nice pool area and walkway along waterfront. The front desk was very helpfull in finding a room overlooking the Bay, because initially our room was overlooking a courtyard, I requested a bay view, she Morgan found a room right away, we're very pleased. We're thinking of going back again .

We had a short stay but it was a great experience. We got the king size bed with the view. It was a nice spacious room. It was nice and clean. We were able to check in earlier than the check in time. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Their shuttle to Sea World was very convenient. Will definitely stay here again.

Great room on bay, you're not near anything. I felt that was the case in San Diego unless you were downtown anyway though.

Everything was amazing at the hotel only concern I had was I reserved a king bed, but they didn't have one available for us to check in to. It seamed like there was one available the way the attendant went to ask a manager if she could give us the room. I feel cause we got a discounted rate through hotels. I was pleased with this hotel. We did stay in the larger suite type room and they are very pleasant with a nice view of Mission Bay. The staff was outstanding and our rooms were cleaned nicely everyday. Nice pool, loved Firefly the restaurant and we really liked the outdoor seating in the evening with heat lamps. They also have a couple "fireplace" […] tables. They gave us several comps and did not charge for parking. They have a shuttle to Sea World which is handy. I thought it was a good value. Lees meer

This is the second time we have stayed at the Dana and we are always very pleased with everything. The rooms are good, the front desk is so friendly and helpful. The location is great and the grounds are really pretty. I will go back for sure.

Grandma had two granddaughters for a couple days retreat. They loved the pool and seldom left it. We also enjoyed the nearby Mission Beach and Pacific Beach for meals and beach walking. Hotel was perfect for us.

We like the location in mission bay. Check the prices at the hyatt across the street- that hotel is fabulous. Overall, it was okay. I woul stay there again. I think $100/ night is a fair price for the rooms and hotels limited amenities. I think we paid 130/ night. Parking is an additional $20 per night.

The staff was great at this hotel, but thats it. The overall feeling here was that of a 50's movie star. It was trying to be glamorous but it wasnt happening. The AC in our room broke. The vending machines were barely stocked, good luck getting something you wanted. Food service was slow (server was nice)

Excellent hotel. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful, the rooms were in excellent condition - very clean and including all the extras. (Keurig coffee maker, microwave, good sized refrigerator, ac/heater, high def tv, and more. The room service was fast and delicious and the bar at the tropical pool was excellent.
