4 nachten in dit hotel verbleven. Hadden openslaande ramen met zicht op het meer, maar voor open raam/gordijnen was het veel te heet. Op goede afstand van treinstation voor trein naar Boston. Netjes schone handdoek indien nodig, evenals aanvulling toiletspullen. Net maar zeer eenvoudig ontbijt, bestaande uit alleen zoetigheid.

The place was insufficent and it could of been a lot better. Ice machines didn't work, had to get it from the bar in the next building. Sheets on one bed, not on the other. TV button was broken off. My sister and I stayed here when we went to Boston for St. Paddy's weekend. The reviews on here and tripadvisor did not bode too well for the Clarion, but we decided to take a chance. It was very easy to find off I95 and they were able to get us into a room earlier than the check-in time. They are doing renovations, so we were understanding of the furniture […] littered through the halls. However, there was pounding coming from the room right next to us which lasted for several hours. Though loud and annoying, that was the worst of it. The hotel itself is definitely not amazing, but the Employees were helpful. The location was really the best part of this place. It is in Wakefield, a smaller suburb of boston. Many cute shops and diners lined the streets of town, and the hotel is a very short drive from many restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. The Commuter Train into boston goes directly through. I got a great deal on this place, paying about half what other hotels were charging. The hotel was very very good, but is kind of far from downtown Boston. However, it's really easy to get there, and the girl in the front desk told us how to go to downtown just taking a bus and the orange line of the metro. It wasn't bad. I didn't have any problems asides from the fact that some jerk opened up a package of coffee and my boyfriend not knowing picked it up upside down and it went everywhere leaving us no coffee at all because the other package of coffee was empty. Thanks housekeeping!. It wasn't bad for the price. You get what you pay for.

The soundproofing is not good between rooms, but the hotel staff did their best to make certain that the guests next door did not intrude too much into the privacy of my room. I did let the staff know that the soundproofing was a problem.

The hotel room was not new, but was clean and well maintained. The main draw back was the lack of sound insulation in the room, as I was on the second floor, over the bar. This would probably have be an issue on the third floor, or elsewhere on the second floor, so that would be suggestion to anyone booking a room here: avoid being over the bar. I really like the setup of the Hotel and the staff was really helpful. Three things that really put myself and a friend of mine off. a) The bedroom. Even though the room was really nice and big and had two large beds. Each bed only had one thin blanket. We spend the thanksgiving weekend there, and it was really cold. Each of us only had the one this […] blanket to sleep under, having to keep the heater on all through our stay. It was not pleasant. More blankets should be made available esp during winter. b) The condition of the bath tub. After my flight to Boston and all the trouble to get to the Hotel, all I wanted to do was take a long bath. I couldnt , because the bathtub was in a terrible condition. The paint on the tub started peeling off and the tub was dirty. Had to opt for showers the entire weeked. c) The dining room utencils. We had breakfast downstairs in the eating area, the cups were mostly stained or most of them dirty! Similar to the knives and forks. Rates were good. Hotel needs an update. Noisy in the bar area at night. Rooms are small but somewhat clean. The hotel staff did not inform us of "free" breakfast every morning! Towels not replaced until I asked. Smells musty but location is good.

Decent for short stay... Awesome price for what you get. Breakfast was mediocre. Far from Airport given traffic conditions into Boston. Employees very helpful and attentive. Flat screen TVs and a bathroom upgrade would take this up a few notches. Nice place. Not a five star but nice.

I dont think this hotel is cleaned at all. I have stayed there for one reason and one reason only, the price! its cheap, but you get what you pay for. I have found hair in the bed and all over the bathroom...GROSS!

The hotel is under renovations so there was a little noise early in the morning. The fan in the bathroom is VERY loud. The staff is great, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I have stayed here in the past and the upgrades are great !!

The hotel was hidden behind a series of apartment buildings. The hotel itself was older and in need of some updates, but all in all was very clean, and appeared to have no shortage of hot water!!! It's very convenient to get an access to the downtown of Boston if you avoid the rush hour. The room is OK for a couple of nights and they have a bar. The complimentary breakfast is also good and the staff is nice.

We just needed a place to sleep - this was perfect for that. The Continental Breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Much more than expected. We hung out at the bar at the end of our time out, which was a really GREAT time. The bartending staff were AWESOME, the band was fabulous - a truley great time!!

We checked in late which was no problem. The staff were very polite and freindly. Our room was clean and pleasant, not fancy but better than we expected. A fridge and microwave would have been nice although I think they will supply those if requested. They are redoing this hotel and it truly needs to be revamped , but the people were very friendly and they did try very hard to accomidate any request. The value for money was quite good and once the renos are done it will be a be a very nice hotel.
