this hotel advertises a continental breakfast. It should be removed from their advertising as there was only coffee,tea and muffins, no fruit,yoggart,cereal,nothing hot, and no juice of any kind

Rooms have been redone quite nicely, but, the halls are tacky and the cigarette smell is awful. The lack of amenities was irritating. Arrived late at night and none of the vending machines were stocked. Snacks (minimum) next door at another hotel was not convenient on a cold winter night or the next day for a late breakfast. 24 hour shuttle service […] was good. Lees meer

Have stayed here on many occasions and find it conviently close to the airport; great, secure long-term parking; great way to start you vacation a day early by dining out at the Arizona--short, 2 minute walk with cold beer and super finger-foods. Wake-up calls right on time with a coffee and muffin...3 minutes for airport delivery and pick-up. It "ain't" […] a 5 star but it has all the amenities that we want so we can start our vacation with enjoyment and comfort in the knowledge that our car is safe, secure, and at very little cost!! Pickup at the airport was swift once we called for shuttle. On board it was 5 mins to hotel and the SHUTTLE RUNS ALL NIGHT! Arrived at 2:30 am and check in went smoothly. As coffee and pastries were available at 3:00am we went back to pick up come nibbles. Mostly sweet pastries but I found one, not so sweet, that I enjoyed. Room was fine, not luxurious […] but the quality of the bedding and beds could bot be faulted. Excellent sleep. Recommend this hotel for pre and post flight sleep. Mr Greek restaurant is attached to hotel for full meals. Only disappointment - no fruit or yogourt with free Continental breakfast. Lees meer

This place is great if you are looking for a reasonably-priced place to stay near Toronto's YYZ Airport. I have stayed there twice now, and would again. It is not a "fancy" place, but it was less than half the price of the others I scoped out in the same area. The rooms are clean & the staff is nice. I have been enjoying my stay at Carlingview. Luis is one of the guest service representatives and he's been very kind and making sure things are good. There are no bed bugs!! The only negative about the hotel is that there is no hot breakfast. I would recommend to many.

The Carlingview Toronto Airport Hotel is a great place for an overnight close to Pearson. Staff is friendly, shuttle is free on prompt, very reasonable price.

Rooms were large and very comfortable bed. Would stay at this hotel again when travelling to Toronto.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and ideally suited for where I needed to be the next day. The towels were a little thin, but no real complaints for the price.

The Hotel was well maintained, staff was excellent, and averall I had a great stay, especially considering the room rate!

Very Friendly staff at front desk. Needed info. to bus and subway to get downtown and they explained what bus etc to take. Good Mr. GREEK restaurant attached to this hotel and they make excellenty Lamb chops. Will stay again.

The stay at the hotle was good and the location from the airport great. However the internet access poor. We would stsy here again with no problem. Staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Hotel Carlingview in October 2011. The rooms were very clean, smelled great and were nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. A highlight was the pool and hot tub. The Hotel shares these with the Marriott across the parking lot. Despite having to walk outdoors to get to the pool, it was well worth it. We stayed here as low cost alternative to the Holiday Inn where our function was being held. Over all I'm happy with our stay but half way through the one night we were there I found that I could not sleep on the bed. It was far too soft for me and I spend the last few hours of the night sleeping on the floor. The hotel and staff were exceptional. The location to the airport is perfect. It's a real bonus to have ths shuttle.

I have never met a more friendly staff, from the clerk to the maids. k eep up the good work, we will certainly return again and again.

Coffee machine in the bathroom was a little strange, and if ur a light sleeper the low rumble of planes might annoy you but it didnt bother us. Found their price to be very reasonable. Over all i would have no problem staying here again

This hotel is close to airport with shuttle service. Hotel older but well maintained. Rooms clean/ comfortable. Staff pleasant and helpful. We stay while in transit so just an over night. Also coffee /pastries offered early in morning. Restaurants nearby and 1 in hotel. We stay every time we are in Toronto, and do recommend the hotel.

Very friendly staff. Front desk people are really nice and the hotel restaurant staff are just wonderful and interesting. We asked for extra pillows and an ironing board and they were to the room in minutes. The hotel itself was a little dated, and the rooms were clean with the exception of a little dust like it hadn't been used in a week or so. That […] was no big deal since it was obviously cleaned well before it sat without a guest. We were on the 3rd (top) floor and I see where others complained about low flying planes. I heard 2 or 3 planes, but it was really no bother. The pool amenities are actually just across the parking lot in their sister hotel The Marriott. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment. 24 hour coffee, tea, television, computer and printer are in the lobby area was nice since my husband was up early and went down to use the computer and printer as not to disturb me. Parking is easy, hotel location was close to everything we needed. All in all a good experience for a 1 night stay. Lees meer

I've stayed at the Carlingview quite a few times. It's always been clean and tidy, Check in and out are quick and friendly. The shuttle to the airport takes only a few minutes. With a free continental breakfast until 9:00am and a "Mr. Greek" restaurant in house, what more could you want from an airport hotel?

Although the hallways need some brightening up and some new paint on the walls, the rooms are quite well kept and there are comfortable beds to sleep on. The only downside was that the continental breakfast is quite simple and ran out three of the four days I stayed before 8:30am. This hotel was very well priced and was close to the airport which was good since my flight was at midnight. The shuttle was convenient and ran 24 hours. I would stay there again.

the room was fine just the bed was not comfortable for me

I found it difficult finding Hotel Carlingview, tucked in behind the Marriot. Probably because I don't know Toronto. Was tired when I got to my room & stayed in, not checking out the other services. The room was very nice. Thank you.

What a pleasant stay, kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Hope you can serve more sensible breakfast.

Clean room, I had a long flight and was ready to relax, I had two nice beds for a single room, queen size for a hundred dollars, very nice reception, there was no fridge, and the man was closing the bar at ten and let me order food and brought it to my room, very tasty salad, fresh, with two cold beers, it was 30 dollars plus tiip, expensive but good […] after what I Had been through from a 15 hour flight. The pillows where thick, not very comfortable but I slept like a baby, and wake up call on time and was out the door at exact time. Great reception. Lees meer

The front desk of this hotel were unfriendly, we would ask for directions or questions and they either gave us wrong directions or told us wrong information. when we checked out we were not ask how our stay was, we were told have a nice day and that was it.

Soda machine on 2nd floor was ALL out of most sodas and ice machine was not working. Other than that, the hotel was great and very affordable with easy access to the airport for an early flight. thank you.
