Gastvrije ontvangst. Prima prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. Eenvoudig hotel, maar vlakbij de boten en binnen 10 min. op het San Marcoplein.Ontbijt is wel erg simpel, maar de koffie is prima en voor 5,-€ p.persoon mag je ook niet meer verwachten.Als we ooit weer Venetie willen verkennen teken ik voor dezelfde accomodatie.

Gewldig hotel, we hadden een upgrade naar een nieuwe kamer, hoe de ode kamers zijn dat weet ik niet. Het was wel een flink eind lopen naar bv het San Marco maar dat vond ik juist een voordeel, omdat je dan onderweg alles lopend ziet. Het was vlakbij het treinstation en op loopafstand van de eindstop van de luchthavenbus. Bijzonder comfortabel , uitstekend ontbijt,vriendelijk personeel, vrije beschikking over het internet op de computer die in de hal van het hotel staat.

Goede service en aardig personeel. Alleen slechte bedden en erg gehorig. Kamers waren super schoon en heel erg mooi.

Goede ligging alles op loop afstand. Net of je in zandvoort bent maar dan warmer. Op loopafstand van de baay van venetie en in de avond direct aan het uitgaans centrum op het strand.
Ligging.
Le Boulevard ligt in Lido in Venetië, dicht bij Santa Maria Elisabetta Waterbus, Lido-strand en Venice Convention Center. In de buurt liggen ook San Nicolò al Lido en San Zaccaria Waterbus.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel heeft een bar/lounge. In alle openbare ruimtes kan je tegen betaling de draadloze internetverbinding gebruiken. Extra voorzieningen in deze accommodatie in Beaux Arts-stijl zijn onder andere een dakterras, een tuin en roomservice (beperkte uren). Parkeerruimte is tegen betaling beschikbaar, maar beperkt. De volledige renovatie van deze accommodatie werd in april 2006 voltooid.

Le Boulevard heeft 54 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluis. Elke kamer is voorzien van een inbelverbinding. Elke televisie heeft kanalen via satelliet. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een handdouche, een bidet, make-up/scheerspiegels en een föhn.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.

De strandbuitenwijk van Venetië, Lido, is met de waterbus tien minuten van San Marco. Tegen het einde van de 19e eeuw was het de mooiste badplaats van Italië. Tegenwoordig is deze achttien kilometer lange zandstrook minder in trek. De meeste glamour komt van een aantal beroemde hotels met eigen stranden en het opzichtige filmfestival van Venetië dat in augustus en september wordt gehouden. De stranden zijn 's zomers druk vanwege de Italiaanse en buitenlandse toeristen.

perfect location and price is much cheaper than spend the night over in VCE. hotel is 2 min away from vaporetto station and in 15 u'll get to St.Marc Sqare. Barthroom new and clean. Furniture in the room a bit old but clean. Staff at reception not very professional.

Nice hotel with a good breakfast. Room was small but clean. In a great location just 5 mins walk to the boat to get over to Venice. Easy to find with a few nice restaurants in walking distance. Only downside was no kettle in room and the bar closed at 08:30pm so no cup of tea or coffee before bed!

"Avoid this scam hotel at all costs"
We'd booked this hotel for three nights just before Easter. When we arrived at the reception, a smooth-talking man casually informed us that our room was no longer available because rain had caused some pipes to leak. He assured us everything would be fine because he'd secured us a room at their 'sister' hotel down the road that was also 4*. However, […] it quickly became clear that it was 4* in name only. We were put in the smallest room we'd ever seen. Even worse, it was on the ground floor barely 3 metres from the reception desk. We thought the guy was joking when he said he'd show us to our room and then walked four paces to his left, but no! We asked if we could move room but lo and behold, the hotel was apparently fully-booked for the full three nights we were due to stay. So we had no choice but to endure three restless nights due to the noise as people passed in and out of reception late into the night and first thing in the morning. Not even close to a 4* experience. Worst of all was the manner in which the receptionist treated us - he was blunt, dismissive, and couldn't care one hoot that we were unhappy at being moved to another hotel and then being put in such a pathetically small room. We got the distinct impression that because we'd got a good price on hotels.com, we shouldn't expect anything more from them. There is another review on this site and it tells an almost identical story about 'leaking pipes' and being moved to a low-grade sister hotel. The reviewer suggested this was a scam intended to help fill undesirable rooms at this worse hotel down the road. On this experience, I'd have to agree. We still enjoyed our stay in Venice but it was no thanks to the hotel. And even now, the experience leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. We'd really recommend that to avoid the possibility of being scammed yourself, you avoid this hotel at all costs. Being on Lido isnt the best, but it was less expensive. Staff was okay. Bed was not very comfortable for any of the adults in the three rooms we had. Guaranteed it should not have a four star rating. Three is pushing it from the amenities to the service staff. Breakfast was great though.

This is a decent hotel, located in Lido a quiet, quaint town not too far from Venice city center. One has to take a water bus to the city center (approx 15mins) which costs 6.50 euros each way per person. Other than that breakfast was included. Reception desk was helpful. The shower had a full massage shower head but the pressure was weak. I did not […] like the fact that we had to pay additional city taxes after booking online. Stayed at Le Boulevard for 4 nights, found the Hotel very conveniently situated, only 5 minutes walk from the vaporetto stop, although we walked past it twice, it is partly hidden behind a bank. Good service at the Reception. There was a good selection of food for breakfast but to be honest, the service in the breakfast room wasn't great. The room […] was fine, although the twin beds were positioned right next to each other, and were moved back every day after we made some space between them. The room was very clean, as was the en-suite bathroom. There was no problem with storing luggage on check-out for later collection. Went to this hotel in March. Located minutes from vaporetto stop. Easy to find. Hotel was quite full. Booked a superior double room and was given a room with 4 beds. Breakfast choice was not vast but more than adequate. Nice helpful front desk staff. Gets a bit noisy after 6.30am weekdays due to activity outside the hotel. Generally pleastant stay.

I loved staying at Le Boulevard. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, and the rooms were very cozy. The free breakfast in the morning was definitely a perk; it saved us from having to spend money at a restaurant or a more expensive place on Venice. The island of Lido is beautiful and has plenty to offer if you think you've seen all there is to see […] of Venice. This hotel provides a nice quiet break from the tourist scene on Venice, and lets you see a whole new area. If you do want to go over to Venice, the boat dock is literally around the corner. It takes about 20 minutes to travel there, but it is a beautiful boat ride. We really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we have is concerning the "satellite television." There were very few channels available, and since there isn't much to do at night on either Venice or Lido, we were left with few options. We ended up paying for internet. However, with the free breakfast, it all evens out. I would definitely recommend staying here. It's clean, the staff is very friendly, and it's in a very safe and convenient location. Lees meer

We got a great deal here for a small but comfortable room. Warm in the freezing temperatures Venice was experiencing. Close to Vaporetto and short journey across to St Marks. Breakfast not bad. Can't get a late night coffee tho anywhere!

You take a ferry to the Island of Lido, but it was fun and convenient. Roberto at the front desk was excellent. He gave me tips, directions and because my room was so small, added extra perks. I would recommend this beach town to anyone. It was fun getting around on the ferries. Buy a pass and you ride for free!

Spent 3 pre cruise nights at this hotel - great location - love the lido - hotel near the beach (5 mins walk) which is unique for Venice and a break from the sightseeing. Also near the water bus pier (2 min walk) - it's easy to get to St Marks and other key spots. Rooms are fine (nothing special), breakfast is ok and there is a bar downstairs but it […] seems to close very early!! - but overall great value for the price and "location, location, location". Needing a last minute hotel in Venice, we used hotels.com to find an establishment in Venice. After staying in 4 other not-so-hospitable hotels, Le Boulevard was a bit of a haven for us. The rooms were spacious enough, offered plenty of storage, refrigerator, and excellent working air conditioning! The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety […] of food including eggs and bacon (we missed our American breakfast...) The hotel's location is excellent, 2 blocks away you'll find the water bus lines to all other locations in Venice and a ferry station where you can take board the ferry with your vehicle. Just a couple of meters away is the beach. There are plenty of food options but we wary of price and quality (these are very touristic restaurants), your best bet is to take the water bus eat in other parts of Venice. The staff was wonderful, they provided a detailed map of Venice and were kind enough to point out must-see locations. 2 things to watch out for: 1. If you have to bring a car, parking is NOT included. You can park your vehicle in public parking or pay a daily storage fee to store your vehicle in the hotel parking. 2. WiFi is offered but it is NOT complimentary. Be ready to pay for the time you need. Other than that, this hotel was great and I would highly recommend it! Lees meer

"Enjoyable Stay at Lido Island"
Hotel Boulevard was a pleasurable place to stay. Quite descent rooms. It was easy to take a sea bus to San Marco Square and it felt safe walking on the street late at night. I would recommend this hotel for your stay at Lido Island. My only suggestion would be maybe reconsidering the red tiles in the bathrooms.

A good Hotel just a stone's throw from the Vaporetto at Lido. Room was small but very comfortable being warm and cosy with plenty of piping hot water to bathe and soothe our weary bones after the sights of the City. Breakfast was plain but satisfying with reasonable choice. Staff helpful and courteous. Excellent value. We obtained a 7 day travel card […] prior to our trip via "Venice Connected" on internet which proved economic since Vaporetto single trips are 6.50 euros. Included was bus from Marco Polo Airport to Piazza Roma. From there 1 hour Vaporetto ride to Lido ( Route 1 ) and the Hotel. Alternatively you can take a direct water bus from airport to Lido a extra cost since it is with a different company. If we come back we would choose Sept / Oct or March / April. Lees meer

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights during our honeymoon to Italy. The hotel was not accessible by taxi-only water taxi or water bus. Be sure and take the water bus as the water taxi is extremely expensive! We found this out the hard way...by not asking prior to getting in. We went for the economy room but never expected a room in a 4star hotel to be this small. I asked myself if perhaps they had mistaken my booking to be for a single rather than a double. Haben das Hotel auf gut Glück gebucht, weil es sehr günstig anbeboten wurde und waren total begeistert! Obwohl wir ( eine Erwachsene, 2 Teenager) einen sagenhaft tiefen Preis bezahlt haben, bekamen wir ein super geräumiges Zimmer und haben uns dort die 4 Tage rundum wohl gefühlt. Sehr sauber, ruhig, an allerbester Lage für einen Kurzaufenthalt ( Bootsstation […] 2 min. entfernt, Supermarkt um die Ecke, Strand und Restaurant in nächster Nähe), - was braucht man mehr. Kann das Hotel nur weiter empfehlen! Mag sein, dass es auch noch weniger schöne Zimmer gibt dort, - als wir ankamen, haben sich ein paar Leute fürchterlich über ihr Zimmer aufgeregt, - aber in unserem Fall war es ein Glückstreffer! Franchement plus jamais ca... La seul chose a retenir de l' hotel, son emplacement . Arrivé dans la chambre poubelle non changée... salle de bain 0/5 . Un autre jour les femmes de menage ont oublié de faire la chambre... malgres le gros "svp priez de faire la chambre" .. Je retournerai a venise mais plus jamais dans cet hotel.

Un auténtico desastre y un timo, que no recomiendo a nadie. En mayo de 2011, seis personas teníamos confirmada la reserva en este hotel, pero al llegar nos dicen que no hay habitaciones disponibles y nos mandan a otro hotel asquerosamente sucio, desconchado y con un trato pésimo. Tuvimos que llamar hasta a la policía veneciana, delante de ellos nos […] dieron una solución y luego no cumplieron con lo establecido, al día siguiente ya nos pudimos alojar en el hotel contratado. "Unfreundliches Hotel das wir je erlebt haben."
Das Hotelzimmer war unbeheizt (Nachts 2-4Grad+). Auf unsere Beschwerde hin erhielten wir die Antwort, Zimmer wird erst im November geheizt. Wir erhielten den Rat, die Decken im Zimmer zu benutzen. Beim Frühstück wurde vom Personal mit dem Geschirr geklappert, es war ein Krach, uns verging das Frühstück. Teewasser stank nach Clor, sowas heben wir noch […] nicht erlebt. Wenn etwas ausging, dauerte es unendlich bis das sparsame Büffet aufgefüllt wurde. Auf unsere Bitte, etwas leiser einzudecken und abzuräumen. Erhielten wir die Antwort: Gäste sind auch sehr laut! Im Zimmer und Badezimmer lief das Schwitzwasser die Wand herunter. Im Zimmer waren unter dem Fenster schon feuchte Stellen, vermutlich Schimmel? Wir sind 1 Tag früher abgereist, wir hielten es dort nicht mehr aus. Lees meer
