I liked the personnal, cleainess, the great breakfast. The spa was to much cholrie it made my eyes water just getting in. But the water was very enjoyable. We will stay again. I felt the price was freasonable also. Thank-you for being.

There is a warmth and home-like feeling to this place, more like a "mom and pop" hotel. I have been staying at this hotel for about 12 years - whenever I am in Portland. Our second stay at this hotel. We find it a convenient location particularly when leaving Seattle after work and heading to southern Oregon.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The amenities such as fridge, microwave, breakfast, wifi are good. The reason for poor rating is the rooms have adjoining doors and you can hear your neighbors talking. We ended up with neighbors who were talking all night. We suffered one night without sleep and didn't complain. When we complained the next night, […] the hotel staff didn't do much to help. We had to find another hotel for the second night. The rates are good for the quality. Rooms are small but clean and accommodating. Don't expect a five-star stay, and you'll be satisfied. Location is quite convenient (close to Target, several restaurants, freeway entrance), but not the most scenic. The only thing that irritated me was when I was sleeping, there was some racket inside the hotel that […] kept waking me up. My fiance and I just need a place for one night before our flight, so this was perfectly accommodating. I probably would not want to stay for more than a couple nights, though. We were extremely satisfied with our stay at this Ramada Inn. The customer service was impeccable. Our room was small but comfortable for two people, and had a fridge and microwave. Very clean. Breakfast was good: scones, eggs, sausages, yogurt, cereal, toast, banana muffins, apples and bananas, oatmeal, oj, and apple juice. It is in a great area of Portland with lots of restaurants around, and about a 15 minute drive to the Hawthorne/Belmont district and to Mt. Tabor. We would definitely stay here again. Clean, nice staff, simple room with few amenities. Not even a pen and paper to be found on the desk. Room was on the small side. A king bed was really crammed in there.For the price I think I got good value. I'd stay there again.

It was nice walking into and pulling up to, but the room was very small. The breakfast was horrible. We did mot eat any of it. Just disgusting. Eggs were watery, ketchup was old, apple was mushy, hard boiled eggs smelt and tasted wrost( even another guest said it too about the hard boiled egg). Our room was clean with plenty of towels, the bed was comfortable and the room very quiet. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and interstate. Hot tub was in working order and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again. the price was right.

Spent one night in one of those pricey down town Portland motels as a treat for my wife & daughter. No street parking means you have to pay an additional $37.50 per night to have your car parked 3 blocks away! No microwave & no coffee maker! Give me a brake! Booked a room at the Ramada Portland South I-205 for the rest of our stay & it was perfect! […] Right off the freeway with parking right outside our window. Someone had messed with the coffee maker decanter so it wouldn't pour right & they brought us a brand new coffee maker then invited us to have some fresh baked cookies near the lobby! Much better place to stay at almost 1/2 the price! Save your money & go here first! Lees meer

We stayed here for a one-night romantic getaway. Everything was clean, new, and well-kept. A great deal for the price! Would definitely stay here again. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was filling.

The receptionist was good. I was able to change my room from one bed to 2 bed. Staff and service is good. Hotel is on main road and near highway. Not so great surrounding property. Breakfast was not good at all. I was expecting to have good breakfast but was disappointed with it.

Similar to other stays here the hotel is one of my favorites for the price and location plus all the amenities I prefer like a free breakfast, free internet and very quiet and clean. The only negatives are a broken 4 slot toaster for the bread ( 2 slots broken, 2 work). And the need to have a blanket delivered to the room + tip for for the service. […] Hey , it is winter, Why no blankets standard. I have chosen this hotel from others I have stayed in for my frequent trips to Portland. Some of the key reasons: Quiet location, price, easy access to other amenities, cleanliness of rooms, comfortable beds, refrigerator in the room and of course free internet. The free breakfast of eggs, cereal, toast, fruit and of course fairly strong coffee all […] top of the deal. I am not much into yogurt and apples for breakfast but the bananas are good. The staff is friendly enough and check in was easy. The only negative I found is the lack of blankets in the room. Have to have the front desk have one sent up and then you get to TIP the guy a few bucks for delivering it. Small deal but it is WINTER and I have NEVER before in my life entered a hotel with NO blankets in the winter. Other than the lack of close up parking (they have a lot across the street for overflow) it rates high by me. Lees meer

The location was perfect for us. But more than that, the staff was friendly, courteous and professional. The whole property was very clean. The breakfast was always well-stocked and clean, with fresh coffee and drinks readily available. We will stay there again on our next trip to Portland.

The friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever experienced in my travels all over the world. The room did smell musty, but when the heat or ac were on it cleared up. I would return here just to be surrounded by such friendly people! AMAZING STAFF!

The hotel isn't luxurious, but it's very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The first room we were assigned smelled like stale cigarettes (even though it was nonsmoking). When I went back to the desk to request a different room, the manager apologized and immediately gave us another room, upgrading us to two queen beds (instead of double […] beds) for no additional charge. The furniture and fixtures are a bit worn, but everything is very clean. And to me, cleanliness and good service are more important than luxury. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is clean and functional. We were visiting relatives and just used the hotel for sleeping at night. For our needs, this was an excellent value. I enjoyed my stay here - it is the 1st time I used this particular hotel. The only drawback is that it is located on a one-way street so it takes a couple of times to figure out how to get back to the hotel when driving. They serve a very good and varied breakfast.

When going to this hotel the hotel staff were very unprofessional and rude. One was chewing gum while speaking to me, which is very unprofessional. The location of the hotel isn't too bad to Portland downtown area which was great, but the overall experience here was one of the worst hotels I have been at. The room we stayed at was a non-smoking room […] and the bed was perfectly folded and in shape, but there was a cigarette planted inside of the blankets which made me think that they didn't clean out our room. That day we had to call the hotel service to get our room cleaned out and I ended up putting sheets on the bed with the hotel staff. When I left here and looked at my bank statement it also showed that they took out another $100 from their company and the employees were so rude about the situation, I explained to them I paid my hotel from hotels.com, but they kept trying to blame hotels.com and it took them 5 days to reimburse us that money back. OVERALL THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. Lees meer

I was impressed with my overall stay including location and the friendliness of the staff. For the price, I couldn't ask for much more. Room and bed were clean and were more than adequate. It was nice having breakfast both mornings too! I'd stay here again and would recommend it to a friend, especially for a quick stay on a moderate budget.
