The only issue I had was the temp in the room , it was way to warm even after turning down the temp in the room it never cooled down. I did not have a good sleep due to that fact.. I was at poolside in room 109

Dont waste your time or your hard earned money elseware this is the best place in red deer to stay. Ive stayed in almost all the hotels and red deer lodge is by far the nicest best located and amazingly one of the cheaper places to stay. The hotel is great. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. Nice size pool and hot tub. Great location. Restaurant food is okay, but service was atrocious. There were 8 of us for buffet supper and there were only 5 tables of people and no one ever refilled our drinks or took any of the plates that piled up from the buffet. We stayed at the hotel on December 29th to have a quick getaway for the weekend. We weren't in the room much as we were out and about, but the room was clean albeit a bit outdated. The hotel is situated where you can have easy access to the city centre and close drive to various shops. The only annoyance during the stay were the children who were allowed […] out to play in the hallway at 8 a.m. by their parents who allowed them to run down the hallway, screaming their faces off and banging on doors. They really emphasize customer service. The loby and pool area is really nice. The tower rooms could still use some more updating and the cealings need some more updating. The bath tub drain was very slow and you stood in 2 inches of water while showering . The carpet in the room was stained, hair around the tub.

The Hotel is clean, and the rooms are nice. The Hotel is great for Families, and has a beautiful pool. Nothing for evening entertainment for adults, no pub, bar or lounge within the premises or even near by. It looks as though they will be undergoing reno's soon.

Pleasantly surprised as have stayed many times over the years and the property had become run down and has now been beautifully refurbished so it was a very comfortable, relaxing and pleasant stay

The room was clean and loved that the hotel switched to duvets for the bed! There were a few stains in the carpet... but other than that it was super!!

The hotel has been well maintained. Clean, bright. Swimming area excellent. Breakfast recommended, waitress very nice but lounge area lacking in variety. Seemed to have run out of many things -- cold beer glasses---kinds of beer---coasters. Staff at front desk were very helpful.

The tropical decor surrounding the breakfast/eating area and pool was delightful and soothing, adding privacy and intimacy to the eating areas. Lots of free parking (and head-bolt headers! ;-0 ), restaurants within walking distance and a delightful staff! Who could ask for anything more?

Was just staying over night on our drive home from Vegas. Not much to say. Room was clean & bed comfortable. A bit pricey but very nice place & friendly staff.

Location was awesome for what we were looking to do. The room was very clean but want ready on-time even though I was there hour before checking to make sure everything would be ready. After a very long drive it was wonderful to have such a quick and friendly check- in process. My room was very clean,very comfortable and quiet. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

It's an older hotel, but I found it otherwise pretty good. The gf and me had a good laugh as they still had an old crt/tube TV. It can use some updating, but otherwise it did the trick.

Honestly, we think the ownership of the hotel is tying the hands of the management staff. Wifii issues, carpet stains (nasty!) although have to say management did what they could in providing us with a different room to solve the wifii issues. Also, the whole 5th floor was dedicated to people that had dogs which was AWESOME for us! It was so pet friendly - which is hard to come by! Very impressed that they let doggys stay, and without an additional charge. Thank you for realizing that dogs are a very important part of a family!
