we werden uitstekend en bovenal beleefd ontvangen. Zijn echter van kamer gewijzigd en dat was geen enkel probleem.Prima ligging dichtbij het centrum. Alleen de bedden konden wel wat netter opgemaakt worden. Verder aan te bevelen. We hebben er 4 nachten naar tevredenheid gelogeerd. Goed hotel, grote luxe kamers, met aparte slaapkamer/woonkamer met keuken en balkon. Ruime kamer. Vriendelijk personeel beneden, de "Doorman" is multifunctioneel en helpt je met alles als de receptie druk is. Niet wezen eten in het restaurant en zelf ons ontbijt verzorgd. Verder een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

My stay was very brief but the time I spent there was good. Comfy bed, clean room, no noise and friendly staff. I never ate anywhere at the hotel so I can't vouch for the restaurants.

The room is a bit tired and needs some repairs and new carpets. The bathroom looks like it was fixed up recently. The one bedroom suite had a small kitchen with microwave, stove dishes etc. Staff were very good and we were allowed to check in early as there was a room available. We have been here 4 times before and will return again.

Excellent great staff ,nice clean comfortable rooms .Only complaint i would have is the TV was small with so so reception .Love the view of the downtown area .I would stay there again .

The service was terrible, I couldn't get a movie even after calling the front desk three times. The condition of the room was poor, the taps in the tub didn't work properly and all of the finishes in the room were old and damaged. It was an old hotel. My room was noisy and you hear the sirens all night. But has a pool and spa which you can enjoy. A good restaurant with quality food and wonderful breakfast

There was some confusion with the room that we asked for. We wanted a king and got two twins. The wonderful customer service of the staff quickly and painlessly corrected the problem. I just think that the communication between Hotels.com and the Century plaza need to be a bit better. Otherwise everything was great!

Centralized hotel, very clean, friendly staff, reasonable priced. Definetely recommended.

When coming up on the hotel, it's not much to rave about but then you walk into the lobby and it's really mod. So I was expecting the rooms to be the same. They are very sparsly decorated and there is nothing on the walls. The living room area is pretty bare. And the bathrooms are quite small.

I stayed here for a conference for almost a week. My room was perfect-a suite on the 29th floor with an amazing view for the right price. The room was a nice size and very clean, but could use a little updating. The lobby was really nice and the cafe and spa would have been great had I had the time to enjoy them. This older, remodeled hotel was close to everything, clean and staff were very friendly! Didn't try the restaurant but the coffee shop and Comedy club were great! Could use more pressure in the showers. I would definately stay here again.

My very first stay at century plaza was for medical, and ever since then it is always my choice as it is close to places I frequent while I am in Vancouver..room rates are reasonable and the rooms are clean.The staff are very hospitible. I recommend the hotel to my family & friends.

The hotel is okay but nothing to rave about. It's definately seen better days and needs updating, but it appears they are in the process. The area served by the spa is nice as is the bar/restraunt. The room was very hot and no way to cool it as the a/c didn't work properly. It's a high rise, so noisy, but not any more than anyplace, I suspect. It's […] a great view of the city. The pool was in the basement and was kind of weird, but the kids liked it as the water was warm. Free parking was a major plus. There is a food market close by which was very handy as restraunt is pricey. Room had fridge and microwave. The room was adequate, clean but much too hot and needed air conditioning to cool it down. No balcony, only basics in the bathroom, and very noisy location. Ended up sleeping with a pillow over my ears. Staff were polite but not at all friendly to me or my kids. Would not stay there again.

The hotel is somewhat dated and the room certainly are however for the price you pay in downtown Vancouver the hotel is centrally located and offers all of the services one needs for a short stay. It definitely is time to update the hotel rooms.

Very impressed with Guest Services Supervisor - Amin Himani as the room we booked wasn't available so we got up grated to a better room & it was very quiet, beautiful view. The only problem we had with our room was we didn't have a coffee table or kitchen table or utensils to come back to our room to eat & relax & put our feet up. We were lucky the […] take-out place gave utensils or it would of been pretty messy trying to eat. We had a 2 day vacation in Vancouver and this hotel is located in a great location. We traveled by foot to Stanley Park, Gastown,Chinatown and also to Grandville Island. We also rode the free bus to Caplione bridge, which was located aprox 4 blocks from hotel. Room service was top-notch, convienent coffee shop lower level and you will not be disappointed […] in the pool as well as steam room. We spent 3 nights and would highly reccomend this hotel. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, efficient and most helpful! Great room suggestion!! Amazing panoramic views of city and beyond, out great big glass sliding doors and windows!! Perfect for letting air in ! Suites roomy and self contained; perfect for extended stays, or feeling more homey and comfortable!! Pleasant surprise was a $10.00 […] voucher for breakfast on any food or beverage item that day!! The service in the resteraunt was impeccable! Decent rate for parking compared to other hotels within the area. Nice that it's not valet only! It would be nice if the pool opened at 6:00 a.m. so that usage for adults lane, fitness swims are more accessible prior to kids getting up and in! Pool great temp. and nice depth. Steam room lovely and perfect temp. Change rooms well laid out and equipped, however a little short on towels in the morning!! the century plaza hotel in vancouver is very convenient to everything and centrally located. the lobby of the hotel is very contemporary but the room i stayed in although very comfy was in need of a reno. i would stay again

Great hotel in a great location. Shared a one bedroom suite which came with a nice view a large queen sized bed and a pullout sofa. Very clean! only 4 blocks from granville street.

Room not so great... very strange set-up with only bed and night tables and small desk in very small room, kitchen and bathroom were old and almost grungy, would have expected more from a high end hotel. Parking was ridiculous, no access to hotel from parkade, unless you are lucky enough to park in the 6 available stalls on the elevator level. Century plaze is located at the edge of downtown. The service is very good and the rooms are a bit outdated but comfortable and clean. The breakfast is delicious!

good downtown location. staff were extremely helpful and courteous, knowledgeable about all attractions and gave great suggestions to make our trip more memorable. i like the fact that if you skip housekeeping, you get $5 voucher towards the cafe or restaurant downstairs.

lobby of hotel and resturant were very nice, rooms were nice but were showing there age even through the face lift. good views and good comedy club in the basement. ten dollar cab ride to all the main actractions . will stay here again

You can walk everywhere within about 20 min! Yaletown was my favorite location- amazing restaurants and cool shopping. Plus close to all the bars on Granville. There's a wonderful cafe in the lobby that serves espresso, sandwiches, gelato, etc. Great for on the go people like myself. The Century Plaza is my favorite hotel in Vancouver. This was the second time I have stayed there, and it has been amazing both times. The location was right and the lobby is beautiful , but who hangs out in the Lobby of the hotel they are staying at. The room was very hot even when we turned off the heat. I guess this is why there were several plug in fans in our room from past complaints. The only snack and beverage machine was on the parking level of the hotel wich is not great […] when you ate traveling with small children. My major shock was we stayed on the 15th floor with young children who wanted to look out at the view but to our surprise there were no locks on the windows or safety features that could prevent a fall. Hotel missed wake up call 3 times Fridge "gurgled" all night. Single- pane windows very noisy from street Great price.

The room was large and I appreciated the kitchenette. The Spa area was relaxing and the bathroom in Spa clean. The only issue I had was the room looks like it has not had an extensive cleaning for years. The wall switches and tub was caked on stained with dirt. I found that the 1 bedroom suite on the corners were very well set up and very "roomy" only complaints were the bathroom was a little dirty and the hotel is older with old windows so we found it a little chilly in winter months it may be a concern. We will be staying here again.

The hotel is nicely situated on Burrard St. Staff were warm and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Decor was maybe a little 'dated' Parking was convenient. Only real complaint was that a lot of street noise was heard in our room. This was not good for one of us who was a light sleeper.

We got a good price on the suite and really wanted a kitchen-make life with kids easier. Free parking voucher is a great bonus. It's not the Wall Centre, but it's clean, comfortable and a decent price in a fantastic spot. We will go back. Staff were great. No bed bugs: mattresses VERY well taken care of and clean.

Its an ok hotel. The lobby is nice and well appointed, but its obviously an old hotel and an old building they can't do much about. The elevators are outdated and slow, the hallways are narrow and kind of depressing. The room was nice, but it needed a refresh. I didn't ask for a room with a kitchenette, but I got one. Everything about this hotel is […] old, but in all fairness I did pay a lot less than other hotels downtown. In the end it was a fair price, but don't expect the Marriott or Hyatt. Would I stay there again, it would depend on their price compared to better hotels. For an extra $20-$40 I would definetely spend it on a better hotel Lees meer

Excellent value for money, in a good location, Hotel staff went out of their way to help us in every way possible, view was great, room was large. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The lobby was lovely, as was the adjoining coffee shop (delish treats and coffee!!) The room seemed nice upon entering, if not old and in need of some minimal cosmetic repair. The furniture did not fit the space well at all, was obviously very cheap, and the bed felt like a couple layers of cardboard on a concrete walk. Very uncomfortable and I didn't […] sleep well at all. The water pressure in the shower was unbelievable! Now, I like good water pressure, but this was bordering on painful! The saving grace of this hotel was their staff. Everybody was very professional, helpful and friendly. They had great service for those of us attending a local convention, The hotel lobby was great but my room was mediocre at best. The bed and bathroom were clean but the overall look was shabby.

This was a great place to stay. We got a complimentary upgrade to a nicer room for no extra charge. The hotel is close to lots of shopping. The service is simply awesome. These people have customer service down to a science. They make each person feel heard and cared about. It's a refreshing change from the normal check-in process.
