Hotel was perfect location for sports venue. Clean room. Personable staff. Restaurant / Bar service was B/C grade but also overloaded due to a day time Phillies game, an evening Flyers game and the night of the first round of the draft.

pretty good. that's it. hotel staff was mostly friendly, both at the front desk and other staff. the hotel was just a place to sleep, that's all. the pull out couch was the most uncomfortable 'bed' I've ever slept in. overall the hotel was a bit dusty, could have used a vacuum. the windows, which faced the skyline of philadelephia were very dirty, marring […] a perfectly good view of a historic city and our destination. all that being said, I might stay here again Lees meer

Alarm clock and in room phone did not work. I complained to the front desk to only find out the next day the person I spoke to didn't remember my room number. The door dead bolt would come out so when I left the room it wouldn't shut by itself. The shower was nasty. Every morning starting at 8:00 I could hear the Cleaning staff talking because they […] were yelling at each other down the hall. The only reason I stayed at the hotel was because of the location to the baseball park. Next trip ill take a taxi and stay at a Marriott. For the cost of the Hotel I was expecting a better class of stay. Last time at that Holiday Inn which is also turning me off at staying at any Holiday Inn ever again. Lees meer

Overall, I did like the stay. We had been there a month before and it was fantastic. The room was nice and so was the staff, the fridge didn't work, but thay came up and exchanged it. This time I was not as happy. We paid for a King and once we got there were simply told they didn't have any left. There was a leak in the bathroom that they came to fix, […] but we still woke up in the morning with a huge puddle on the floor. They were nice, but not very appologetic. Not as expected from a Holiday Inn hotel. Bit old building but the a selection of pillos of soft and firm was interesting. My iphone didn't worked with the WiFi but my computer worked. I don't know why. Over all ok hotel.

Room was clean and well stocked. The hotel is within walking distance of the Well Fargo Center which was perfect because we were there for the Pink concert. I can not say enough about how friendly the staff was. The hotel restaurant & bar staff made our weekend even more amazing. Our server Mike was friendly, funny and very accommodating.

This is the perfect location for any event at the Wells Fargo Center! The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information on tourist attractions downtown.

This hotel could improve dramatically by firing the food and beverage manager. The bar/restaurant serviceand food quality was substandard across the board. Breakfast buffet was about the worst I have ever paid money for and even thought the wait staff outnumbered the customers, service was non-existent. Also, there are no other convenient food options […] nearby. The hotel and room was reasonably clean however the value you get for the price is very low. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn many times for sporting events. The location is the best. You can easily, and safely, walk from the hotel to any of the sporting complexes. I have stayed at cleaner, more modern hotels. The price is almost acceptable for the quality of the rooms.

Always enjoy staying here when we go to see the Sixers play. Can't beat not having to deal with traffic and parking.

The room was very clean, but that was the only perk. The comforter, sheets, blanket, bedspread and pillows were all itchy. The bed was completely worn to the point of there being no firmness what-so-ever; we both sunk into the bed and spent the night tossing and turning and changing positions trying to get comfortable. Taxi fare to get to anything in […] the town/market area was $12-$15 each way every time. The "premium" cable consisted of HBO, MTV, National Geographic and several news stations. They provided one small bottle of conditioner and two bars of soap. The TV was very small and set high atop the desser/refridgerator unit making the angle very uncomfortable to watch from the bed. The room was right next to the elevator and it was a roll-in handicapped bathroom; even though we're not handicapped or in a wheelchair. There were people arguing and fighting in the halls throughout the night and the staff never approached anyone to stop the noise and vulgarity. Lees meer

We were spending the evening at Dave and Busters, and didn't want to drive back to the Allentown area after. This hotel was close, very clean and extremely comfortable. Will definitely be staying again

The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Too bad the same cant be said for the restaurant. We waited 45 minutes to get our soup and salad. I had to ask where it was before it was brought out. People all around us were getting fed but not us. First time that I can remember leaving anything but a 20% or more tip.

I've stayed at this hotel many times over the past three years. It is getting better all the time. The cafe is a blessing, so you can now get a quick coffee or something to eat without taking for a full sit down breakfast. Free parking is great. It usually costs about $30 to park overnight at a Center City Hotel. The hotel staff is friendly.

Hotel staff was fantastic but the hotel was fairly run down. Our heater was extremely loud and the toilet ran every 3 minutes. The room was clean but if you are going to one of the stadiums, even though this is the most conveniently located hotlel, stay someplace else.

I've always wanted to stay here, and finally did. This hotel is always a little pricey for me but this time I found a good price. It is in a perfect location if you are going to a game in Philly. You can walk to the stadiums or take a bus that runs on tips. It is about a $20 cab ride to South Street. Great rooms, and service. I will definitely stay […] here again if the price is right. I have stayed at this hotel before and never experienced this before. There was a baby SCREAMING from 2am to 5am so the parents walked the screaming child up and down the hall what felt like the entire time. There were couples fighting and slammining doors till 1am. We had a great time! We drove up Thursday 12/13 for the Eagles game and when we got there we were told there was a manager's reception from 4-5pm, so we had free appetizers and a free drink...very nice! Had no issues at all during this trip. Checked in on the evening of a concert, Staff at front desk told us how to walk to the arena. Our room was comfortable. We set the thermostat to our desired temperature and the unit came right on. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was clean. Needed a hotel near the airport with a shuttle, this hotel is in very good shape was a great stay and was comfortable, clean and professional. The problem is the lack of places to eat close, I know that is not that big of an issue, and most customers stay here for the access to the sports, but for a business traveler this can be an issue.
