Quality Inn Minocqua in Minocqua

This was a very nice hotel. The only complaint we had was that their sign was not easily seen from the highway as thet re located near the back of other shops.

Got to the hotel and checked in at 10:30pm, and after the first set of room keys they gave us didn't work, got a new set that worked. Room was clean and spacious. Pool was warm, and the hot tub was great! Breakfast was a typical breakfast spread at a hotel and was tasty. Bed was not a Queen,pool and whirlpool were not working when we arrived on Monday. Motor was disabled Thursday before we arrived.It was working on Tuesday. The room "whirlpool' was an oversized tub with jets and it was not easily accessed by a 70 year old with arthritis. I'm glad I wore my rubber swimming shoes, otherwise I would still be sitting in […] the pool. Very clean room-frendly people-good location

This was the second year I've stayed at this hotel for Beef-A-Rama. The staff was very polite and the continental breakfast was quite outstanding. We could not have been more pleased with the overall treatment. The first afternoon we had several questions which were quickly and accurately answered by the person on duty at the desk who just happened to be the Manager (she deserves to be elevated to a higher position in the Hotel chain ladder). During our stay in WI we stayed in a different hotel every night. We chose where we stayed based upon the reviews we found on this site. We chose hotels in the $60-70 dollar range. Of all the places that we had stayed this hotel had the most comfortable bed, best HD TV, and was about average for everything else. I love animals but I have an issue with their being occupants of hotels/motels. As a paying guest, I don't feel it appropriate I should have to listen to the barking of any dog kept in a room. I was not given the option of canceling my reservation I was already signed in, had my property in my room and was relaxing when the barking began. The Comfort Inn was close to everything that we wanted to do in Minocqua. It was a good hotel for the price that we paid. The only problem that we encountered was that our keys didn't work half the time, almost as though every day they had to be re-keyed.
